Just imagine: There's a normal prison, everything is okay, and suddenly a guard disappears without a trace. Everyone who can searches for him but he's nowhere to be seen, in next 7 hours workers realise that one of the searchers is gone too. That sounds like a beginning of a horror game.

Officer McDermott took off down the hall. The one in front of him, Enio, was wearing a guard uniform, but no guard would attack another. He found it a bit embarrassing he took that long to figure out.
Enio ducked into a cell, the bars covered with blankets. McDermott opened the door to find, to his suprise, a hole dug in the floor.
"What the?!"
But reporting the damage could wait, he needed to arrest the criminal before him. Following him down the hole, he found himself in a cramped 'room' of sorts, barely big enough to afford him some space to move.
What followed was some quick close quarters combat. Enio swung his baton downwards as McDermott stepped to the right. The baton impacted the floor, kicking up some dirt. Bringing it back up, Enio then swung another time, impacting McDermott's hand as he caught the swing. McDermott followed up with a downwards swing, which Enio responsed to by dodging left. Enio brought up his baton above McDermott's head as the officer braced for the impact.
He felt a light tap on his shoulder, as if someone were trying to get his attention. He looked up at Enio, who was heavily breathing. Enio had swung, but with barely any impact. Under his breath, McDermott could make out three words.
"Out of stamina."

He also disposed his frienda bodies too. Now he can become the next Top guard in the prisons and gets first dibs on food.
@@Exozealots I know you are joking, but Teylor and Bentley (my OC's ofc) are best friends ever since they were inmates at Centre Perks.
Once you take everyone out, you can use those keys as much as you wish, break every wall you want. In fact if you had a lot of time you could destroy the entire prison I bet.

Specified and well made video. I tried it and the medic emerges. For some reason, second medics are deployed and now the guards are thirsting for malevolence. Maybe the reason is I'm on mobile or the devs fixed it. I'm not really the type of guy who asks too much so I'll just stop.
you most likely didn't cover up the hole with the dirt. medic's ai prioritizes covering up holes he dug for pathfinding purposes over everything else, meaning he won't pick up the body before covering up the hole behind him. if he covers it up then he basically trapped himself; he will be unable to dig straight up because the desk is blocking him
if that isn't the case then i really don't know what is, and i really don't know how to help further, sorry. this might be mobile exclusive issue lol (also i didn't know the game is ported to mobile, the more you know)

@@Kawia nope. He was merely trapped underground as I put the desk on the hole I covered with soil and then he just digs out of the ground as if nothing happened. It doesn't work on mobile, maybe only in pc (or so I think)?

I just did this with my friend. Strangely only one medic went in to the hole and got stuck, the rest just didn’t respond. So we buried everyone and the one medic and then ran back and fourth through the contraband detector for a full minute, flooded every single toilet, and stole the riot guards armor and weapons. It was good fun.
I did so, this is a WORKING way to get the ORIGINAL keys. Without security, the whole prison is in your hands, only towers and dogs can interfere with you.

escapists 2 is great. but i miss features from escapists 1. mainly prison takeover and prisoner recruiting. it was fun to show the prison who's the boss by destroying prison guards.

Be careful while beating the cops. I beat 4 of them but I couldn't beat the 5th, after I was beaten, the same thing happened to the cops.I'm stuck underground, the medic doesn't come, I can't even lift a finger, I want to scream for help but I can't. I live hell inside my body as a punishment for my sins until I rot to the bones of my body and be killed by worms and bugs. So be careful

I somehow managed to trap the medic forever down there.
I can quit and reload but he doesn't unstuck himself.
I have no Idea how I managed to do this.

My findings until now:
I didn't quite find out how I did this but I see that my medic is behaving differently then the one in the video:
Instead of holding the guard and trying to bring it back, the medic just runs back and forth in the small 2×1 area.
I haven't been able to replicate it yet.

I think that has something to Do with my savestate;
I think I have an glitched savestate, because for example, I am able to go into any inmates cell without the key (on lockdowns or lights out)
(And no, I am not able to leave my own cell on lockdown/lights out without the key)
Also some inmates just stand on their bed if it's lights out.

There is way to do it without it resetting if you log out, but it requires a friend: you have a friend go down into a hole then while their down there cover up the hole and have them log out, the wake up back in their cell, with the cop being conscious but unable to get out.

Still, they will need a way to reach them, so maybe there is a chance.

The trick only works because the medic can't dig up if a desk is standing on top of the hole.
@@removed3755 Yanno, I meant not putting desks under vent entrences, so medics won't be able to reach them. I assume, that they can pick up and put down desks to reach the vents, so it might not be possible.

What if I dig a hole next to a wall, underground I expand the hole to be under the wall, I get a guard to be knocked out in that square,then I get out and cover the entrance spot? Will the medic figure out to dig next to the wall to reach the guard?
i think his pathfinding will just make him dig from where you exited the hole. tho you can also dig in a place of a wall and replace the wall as soon as medic replaces the dirt when he goes down, it's not 100% consistent because medic not always replaces the ground, but works (make sure you cover up the hole with soil, you can't place walls on soil but medic replaces it with brand new floor lol)

Also did you know it’s possible to survive guard dogs during the lockdown even if your suspicion level is up to 80% or higher? Because I just did that
I think everytime save and load the game, The medic will escape the underground somehow, So yeah
Edit: i didnt read the end, But having 2 holes and a shovel makes it kinda easier to get the medic stuck again, Just dig the hole where the 1st guard was stuck on, Get the dirt, And using it, Tape the 2nd hole to gey the medic stuck there (didnt test this out so)
That's great but if you quit and come back in again, the guards will wake up and a lockdown will start. I was forced to drop the keys and leave. Was it patched? Or was I doing it wrong?

i did a disclaimer about this on the end of the video; the medic will teleport back to infirmary with the guy he's carrying and start getting the bodies out one by one, so you'll have to redo this

@@theguideguy9033 they instantly go on lockdown if a guard sees you digging, or you do it in a place where snipers can see you. though they don't bother to instantly sound the alarm when they see a hole, because a digging prisoner is more dangerous than an already ready potential escape route. video game logic right here

@@MaxerV19 when the medic gets unstuck they automatically warp the body they were carrying previously with them into infirmary, and the guard will wake up after a bit without his key, which will automatically trigger the alarm- so nu :(

i tried it several times but first the guard went down into the hole with me, i knocked him out, then i covered the hole with dirt and put the desk back on it. Then the medic went into the hole, everything exactly like that in the video. but instead of staying down in the hole, he came up again.
And now suddenly after I've tried it quite often, the guards just don't go into the hole anymore.
Either the game has an AI or it's just a bug
Same the medic just digs and grabs him outside from the hole
For me he stayed. I covered it up with dirt then placed a desk on it with a gairdvinsode the super covered hole. When the medic went in it he couldn't get out and so the medic stayed.

i forgot to mention that but sometimes they glitch and enter the hole in some weird way
make sure he sees the hole first before you go into it, he'll say something like "what the..." before resuming chasing you
if he doesn't follow you in this time, get out, make some distance, and run back into the hole

You have to enter the hole (2 spaces underground btw), and knock out the guard there.

yup, it does!
question does this works on escapist 1?
in the escapists 1, if a guard spots a hole, or a broken wall, it instantly gives you a "nice try" screen and you are teleported to the solitary confinement. i don't know if you can carry guards between levels in escapists 1, but if you can then it might work, unless you get the nice try screen. i'm not really sure so you have to try it yourself
also in escapists 1 there is no medic, they just wake up on their own after a while

@@AnanasIsAtYourDoorstep I noticed that in escapists 1 if you put a prisoner where they shouldn't be able to reach, (such as in a wall), they will remain there until the game reloads.

1-Kill an guard in Lights out and take Their Key
2-Go to sleep
Thats it, if it works you going to keep the Key and you can use it everytime, just dont get caught whit it
