Now do The Escapists 1. actually for the last one, you need a raft to escape which can only be gotten by crafting it, and the glitch to escape early also requires an item only obtainable from crafting, that one is probably impossible anyways, this was a pretty good video! Nice
Yeah, sadly the original game is a lot more rigid with how one can escape the prisons. I would attempt every prison just to see which ones are and aren't possible, but I can already cross off half of the base game prisons and roughly half of the DLC prisons just because it requires you to craft some special item for an escape.

I basically did the same thing for the perimeter breakout of dungeons and duct tape, but I did it with 2 multitools and time. I just used the well to be sneaky and dug under the entire moat. It was super annoying to get 2 multitools.
In U.S.S Anomaly, there is a much easier way to go about this, in fact, it is the fastest way to beat the level, as the world record speedrun strat uses this strategy (I should know, I speedrun this game and have had WR for Orca 2p, AFC 2p, and RS 1p glitchless before) All you need is a screwdriver and preferably a weapon. Just rename the guards with the Red key (Check wiki) and go to the small room just to the left of the guard room northeast of the cell blocks. Put the desk below the vent and use the screwdriver. Go into the vents, head east and use the screwdriver again. Jump down and the contraband desk will be right there with the jetpsck in there. Put the desk below the vent and go back where you came from. Do note that the broken vent can be found so its important to act fast. Next you find a guard with a red key, beat him up, take his key and walk through the red door west of the cell blocks. Quickly run past the dogs and go west, and then in the room go to the Escape prompt on the top left and you're out! I find this strat much easier as you only need 1-2 items, and tbh you dont NEED the screwdriver; you can use files as well. All I know is that the completion of the quest leads to you being able to access the sewers and escape as long as you have the hammer and something to cut with on you.
If I remember correctly (and I'm going off of memory because the wiki is trash), some of the quests required you to craft items. And because the crafted items have to be made with parts specific for the quest, it bars the entire questline and by proxy the escape.

Just imagine if this was just set in the real world. You just have this guy who is wearing a hat and shades just talking to a camera, about escaping without using brain.
7:55 you can also if you get to the area below it also requiring a staff key and you need a fish witch you can catch with a fishing rod down there you can ride a dolphin
Last I checked in order to do that escape you need to craft the Fishing Rod, which, well, I cannot do for the challenge. Good for peeps who don't know to learn a little something though from this comment!
This was crazy! I have never knew this was POSSIBLE! I never thought I would hear anyone say "dig water" once in MY LIFE! You are probably one of the BEST players! And when you mentioned the character isn't able to walk on water, near the end of the video, he proved you WRONG. Great job, man!
Were riots removed in escapists 2? I remember beating a decent chunk of the prisons in escapists 1 by just getting super buff and beating the crap out of all the guards with very minimal crafting, so I assumed that was how you were gonna do most of them just with no crafting instead of minimal crafting.
Sadly, riots were removed. I'd assumed that it was due to the changed combat system where you could win fights without taking damage, so maybe that's why? You could go fists only and that'd be the fastest way to escape.
I got to the transportation prison part and wanted to say that this vid is awesome, i dig the editing and your narrations lol Ps i think that you can immediately hide items without grabbing them first
When you where breaking out of Dungeons and Duck Tape I can just image a guard looking out over the river thinking to himself quietly until he sees some prisoner walking over water with that one techno remix of "Our God is an awesome god playing" from a boombox he's holding over his shoulder.
what can i really say that hasn't been said before? YOU WALKED ON WATER! this is an amazing video especially with the "walking on water is not within our skill set" line here 7:27 escapists 2 is an amazing video game an this video proves that if you set your mind to something you can do it❤
Without glitches I think you can only do the beat everyone up and escapes on the transport prisons and the loose caboose escape on cougar Creek railroad cause that just requires some crowbars
Watching this made me realise, I'm genuinely better at this game than I was when I played it. While my combat skill has 100% dropped DRASTICALLY, meaning I can't do whatever the hell I want with near to no consequences, my intelligence has increased A TON, meaning I can go from scary brainless killer, to quiet, unnoticed, and near invisible escaper.
The keys are set to specific guards, some having a key, some a key card, some both, and some neither. The order is different from every prison as well. I assume this was done so that from a player standpoint all of the guards could have some sort of use now. Seeing as patrol patterns are more set than the waypoint system in TE1, I'd assume this was to spread the keys out, especially with how much larger every prison is because of floors.

@@GenericMystic saved me from having to go buy new ears
I really love this video. It is very cool to see you escape prisons without the main and most important mechanic of crafting
This is really creative and I probably wouldn’t have ever thought it would be possible to do it
hate how this guy does one of the hardest challenges in the game, but still manages to escape much faster than i ever did
To be fair, I stared at the Maps for a good long time while not recording to figure out how to get out on each of them.
Wait, you only have like 340 subs? Wow... You deserve way more.
Didn't know The Escapists was made on Minecraft's logic
The guards seeing a prisoner not only walk on water but dig water and then escape:Confusion 100.
Hell yeah! I love this game! Tysm for making a video on It :)))))))
and lo and behold, Mystic the Legendary Water Digger
Dude how do you not have more subscribers… this is better than most of the content on here
I think the biggest thing is that I really care about what I put out. There's a strict set of criteria I have in place when doing a challenge run, which is why these videos are so infrequent.
Through this whole thing I thought: Why doesn't he just make a bed dummy?
and then I remembered the title of the video
At least you can get a bed dummy though an exclusive quest in Big Top Breakout
Just imagine if this was just set in the real world. You just have this guy who is wearing a hat and shades just talking to a camera, about escaping without using brain.
mucho texto
Me spending hours and hours fitting in with the routine while secretly crafting a meticulous escape tunnel
Mystic: "Hold my beer"
Oi, we don't do alcoholic beverages on this plane of existence. I prefer the much more robust Pink Lemonade.
@@GenericMystic Noted 😁
7:55 you can also if you get to the area below it also requiring a staff key and you need a fish witch you can catch with a fishing rod down there you can ride a dolphin
Last I checked in order to do that escape you need to craft the Fishing Rod, which, well, I cannot do for the challenge. Good for peeps who don't know to learn a little something though from this comment!
@@GenericMystic yeah I just meant a way to possibly escape the prison not in the challenge
You should try this in The Escapist 1
I think you got some water in your mic after escaping Dungeons And Duct tape.
Definitely peaked it a lot
@@GenericMystic Blurburbbbbbh bbbb....b..
Low intelligence high wisdom be like:
I love the space one. It takes 70 years to get there for a 1 year conviction
HAVE YOU NOTICED HOW LITTLE SUBS HE HAS?!? GIVE THIS MAN SUBS!!!!!
33:32 can you turn water to prison wine
UNDERRATED RUclipsR SPOTTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well I have seen somebody get out of dungeons and duct tape on the water so hopefully he doesnt-ok yeah walk on water thats totally legal
under rated channel
This was crazy! I have never knew this was POSSIBLE!
I never thought I would hear anyone say "dig water" once in MY LIFE!
You are probably one of the BEST players!
And when you mentioned the character isn't able to walk on water, near the end of the video, he proved you WRONG.
Great job, man!
Thank you! I think I will forever be proud of the foreshadowing I used in this video, and I'm glad so many people like that I did it.
You could go fists only and that'd be the fastest way to escape.
i really appreciate the captions! fun video
I'll pass the thanks along to my friends that helped me put them in!
I got to the transportation prison part and wanted to say that this vid is awesome, i dig the editing and your narrations lol
Ps i think that you can immediately hide items without grabbing them first
Thank you! And yeah the grabbing and then hiding items is just a force of habit thing. Honestly can't help it.
@@GenericMystic makes sense to me lol, btw what do you plan on doing next?
When you where breaking out of Dungeons and Duck Tape I can just image a guard looking out over the river thinking to himself quietly until he sees some prisoner walking over water with that one techno remix of "Our God is an awesome god playing" from a boombox he's holding over his shoulder.
5:38 wtf is Staszek doing here XD?
There's a setting you can have that changes some of the prisoners to be content creators that covered Escapists Content!
@@GenericMystic oh shit, didn't expect him to be included in that feature
i love seing small chanels getting a huge video i just enjoy the thought of your happines seing the chanel grow, keep it up!
Mhm! I am still taken aback by how popular it got. I don't have plans on stopping anytime soon, so I thank you for the support!
I played this game with my cousin and we always went with the multiplayer escape options. We found them SIGNIFICANTLY harder to pull off lol
Probably is a combination of the coordination needed and the multiple steps of prep work to make each escape happen.
what can i really say that hasn't been said before? YOU WALKED ON WATER! this is an amazing video especially with the "walking on water is not within our skill set" line here 7:27 escapists 2 is an amazing video game an this video proves that if you set your mind to something you can do it❤
24:35 how did you get the medic fit? Was it by a lucky fashion quest or..?
Yup!
@@GenericMystic yay answers!!!!! I was thinking that but I just wanted to know just in case it was like a cheat or something.
The Escapists 2 except a prison has an electric fence and is connected to the mains rather than a generator lol
Sounds like a lot of digging
@@GenericMystic We dig those.
16:20 I did not know you could duct tape a camera, that's certainly good to know
You know it's a good youtuber when they respond months later.
Send in the subs
Im pretty sure you couldve used the vents into the maintenance room in big top breakout
You ever just forget that you can pick up a desk and stand on top of it to go back into the vent?
"this shtuff". love it
The self-censoring will never not be funny to me.
Without glitches I think you can only do the beat everyone up and escapes on the transport prisons and the loose caboose escape on cougar Creek railroad cause that just requires some crowbars
I thought that was a multiplayer exclusive escape though.
Multiplayer isn't crafting you just need another controller there pretty cheap
I cant even escape WITH crafting
Watching this made me realise, I'm genuinely better at this game than I was when I played it. While my combat skill has 100% dropped DRASTICALLY, meaning I can't do whatever the hell I want with near to no consequences, my intelligence has increased A TON, meaning I can go from scary brainless killer, to quiet, unnoticed, and near invisible escaper.
Underrated channel
Nice video, it's clear you put some effort into it and it shows.
Thank you!
Glad I got recommended this I like challenge videos like in elden Ring or fallout
You watch ymfah?
@@GenericMystic he did Skyrim with moving yeah
DAMN just watched the escapists 1 vid and I was not expecting that voice!
bro i love the editing in this video
8:21 how did you know that happens? And does the same apply for other keys?
The keys are set to specific guards, some having a key, some a key card, some both, and some neither. The order is different from every prison as well. I assume this was done so that from a player standpoint all of the guards could have some sort of use now. Seeing as patrol patterns are more set than the waypoint system in TE1, I'd assume this was to spread the keys out, especially with how much larger every prison is because of floors.
MAN!!! U ARE JUST CRAZY!!After that, my life won't be the same anymore, u mega cool
Thank you!
