    I am not one to comment on videos where people are trying to get faster and I see that you are trying hard however I have an s10 that I daily drive with a ls in it mine has a 6.2 with a 4l60 it does 1.55 60 ft and easily goes in the 10s on motor and in the 8s on motor so I really don’t understand how you are not better than you are

      I think putting 110 slowed me down a little. It seemed to nose over harder than ever before. I'm also running stock cylinder heads. I have a set of ported 799's ready to go to the machine shop to be cleaned, milled, and a valve job. I'm hoping that helps pick up a little more.

    @LsBluuRacing- Are you running high octane, leaded racing fuel? If so that ruins O2 sensors. Not to mention, if you don't have enough static, or total cranking compression, it will make you run slower, and could foul plugs!?

  • @EddieBowen-s5i
    @EddieBowen-s5i 5 месяцев назад +1

    You need to get the 799 heads on and you'll find what you're looking for. Same set up but I'm carb, hand ported 243s with a valve jobm

    Good work! I've had the best luck with 2 step at 4200 in my truck. Best 60 of 1.57 in my 4200ish pound C1500. 460 whp through an 80e with a circle D 4500 stall converter. Crank it up!
    Cleaning up any >3% closed loop conpensation areas in the fuel table netted a tenth on my most recent track day also. Looking forward to seeing more!

    Need to start working that timing up. Granted I got a 5.3 with 10:1 compression not an lq4 with prolly 10.7:1ish I’m assuming but I’m on E85 running 32 degrees. 26 degrees is nothing for that motor. Start bumping her up to that 28-29 range and read the plugs if it looks like it wants more add more to it. Plugs never lie! But anyways yeah throw some more timing at her just not much below 5000

    Race fuel is hard on the Terminator X 02 Sensors. If you wanted to run race (even if mixed) should have gone with a dominator ecu. Those o2 sensors allow racing fuel.

    When are you gonna quit messing around? Just get a real motor, get a 6.2 Tsp ls3 cam kit , 200 shot nitrous. run almost 9’s instantly I know because I did it several times off the trailer in my s10 with a 850 carb. 3:42 gears and if it had like 4.10’s or something lower would be a lot faster. 137mph in 1/4 mile

    • @812racing
      @812racing 5 месяцев назад

      Okay. But 6.2’s are a lot a lot more expensive. Like 2-4k for a motor

      @@wesfinn9319 ya I completely agree. Be more worth while to do a 408 or 410 stroker on the 6.0 for the same price than do a 6.2

      I don't have an infinite budget. I have a 3 month old baby. I have probably more fun with this 6.0 running the times that it does, than someone with who dropped a second mortgage just to run .5 second faster.
