    My Ls Swapped S10 known as LsBluu has been on the road and running great for a little over 2 1/2 years. Really debated originally on dropping a BTR stage 2 truck cam or stage 3 truck cam in my 5.3. Decided that I wanted to go a different route and picked up a Ls1 Stage 3 cam.

    And there is one more thing don't prepare to LS swap on an S10 and find out that the S10 may need a wiring harness... all kind of electrical problems. Thats what I'm going through right now.

    Tiss 2 new rods and maybe a new piston in that and run it. People brake rods daily and fix them... don't let all that to go to a waste. If not u wanna sell it for scarp ill fix it lol

    Always check your engine codes

    You can easily spray a 150 shit to it. Especially if you run dual stages. Launch out if the hole in a 75 if the drivetrain and traction can take it and mince you are sure you wont brake loose have the second shot hit with another 75. If that works out for you add another 25 up top si it's a 75 out the hole and a 100 down the track some. If the truck will take that start in a 100 and add a second 100. Its alot easier getting it to hook and a progressive controller can get an engine to take alot more nitrous than you would think. Progressive is better than a two stage and a two stage is alot better than hitting it all at once. I have built stroker 383 in an 89 formula firebird that I converted to a T56 from an lt1 Camaro and I have a 2002 WS6 TransAm 6speed both are running 150 shots. The 02 has 68k miles on it and is mostly stock other than full exhaust and free mods (and nitrous). The dual over drive is well worth it if you actually drive the car anywhere other than in the track.

      Thanks dude! It’s definitely going to take some time to collect and buy all the parts, but all my body work is done. It has super nice paint, and I even sandblasted and painted the frame. Tons of new parts, 3 inch drop, 2nd gen Z28 wheels… it just needs to run as good as it looks! It’s still just a 2.2 with a 5 speed

    • @LsBluu
      @LsBluu  2 года назад

      It definitely takes time to get all the good parts. I wouldn't start the v8 swap until you have everything that you need. It took me 2-1/2 years to get the 5.3 in and going, but only 3-4 months to get the 6.0 in and going. Pretty much completely started over. Only thing I reused from the OG swap was the headers, power steering lines, fans, and engine mounts.

    It happens. Had an 01 Z71 drug up to my house after it had been sitting for a good while. Needed a starter and intake gaskets per the owner . As soon as it turned over, it locked up. 2 injectors stuck open. Instant bent rods.
