The Bulls have traded Lavine, DeRozan, and Caruso, only received Giddy, their first round pick back, a second round pick, and basically salary cap fillers like Huerter, this is by far the worst management in basketball, smh
the mavs are worse.
😂 yeah not gonna lie if that was the case the Mavs could of got Zach lavine lol now there's no spot for PJ Washington and he's there best defender lol 😂
I ain't too mad
As a lifelong Spurs fan, this trade should send jolts of joy considering that the Spurs again conned the Kings and the Bulls, but for some reason, all my emotions were drained by what transpired yesterday...
Man. Us Bulls fans have it good huh?
Damn. All of these moves, especially the Luka trade make me fill like the gms of the teams learned from garpax
Tbh I don't even think gar pax would of done that trade lbvs 😂 Mavs are on a different tier
GM Brian Wright knew Spurs were in the driver's seat. Told teams Castle and Hawks picks were off limits. But to get a player like Fox AND not have to give up either Vassell, Johnson, Sochan, or Castle? That's gold! AND they even got rid of that awful Zach Collins contract. Wright wins GM of the Year and CP3 gets to stay in SA and is chomping at the bit knowing he doesn’t have to play heavy minutes. He comes off the bench to play against the opponent's backup PG. Crunch time lineup is Wemby-Sochan-Castle-Fox-CP3. That’s offense AND a stifling defense b/c of the first three on that list.
I thought that Spurs fans fell out of love with Keldon Johnson. Also, Fox is a better defender than people give him credit for, better than LaVine on that end. Not great, but he can hold his own, especially in the right scenario. He's a small, skinny guard, so there's an obvious stigma there. Being surrounded by more defensive-minded players will probably push him to step it up on defense.
The thing I like about this trade for the Bulls, is that now you can start P Will at the 3 and Buzelies at the 4, while still having a lot of minutes to give to Phillips.
And even though the players they got add nothing to them, next season both will be expring deals in a season that will still be focus on development.
So, while I agree it isn't the best trade, I don't think it is the worse either.
I always thought p will should play the 3 but tbh he needs to work on his handle's watch and when he hoops u could tell
I am scared for the League
Vooch maybe the next one to be traded by the Bulls, some sources said the Warriors really want to have Vooch in their team cuz they desperatedly need a Center that can rebound, space the floor and ofc can shooting the ball, Vooch fits that
But does Vooch really move the needle for them? I say no.
@@urbaindelva7869he kinda underrated doe besides his offense game post game nd 3 point ability I think his best aspect is his passing abilities that would do a lot for the warriors tbh
Spurs no longer tanking. They make the playoffs as a 4-6 seed this year and win it all NEXT season. G-League coach Mitch Johnson does need to be replaced with a REAL live NBA coach with REAL world experience. Former Spurs player Monty Williams was also an asst coach for Pop. Monty now lives in SA.
The Spurs will not win it all next season. Do you really think that they'll be ready to contend for a title after ONE postseason appearance? That is possible, but unrealistic. As great as OKC is, they may not be ready to truly contend yet for that very reason, so why should the Spurs get that level of belief?
Can someone explain why the Bulls gave up the first to SAS in the first place? Didn’t Derozan want to sign with Chicago anyways?
Every trade feels like small potatoes after the Luka trade. Genuinely can't believe SA gave up no young player whatsoever. But it makes sense with two of the worst franchises operating. What the hell is SAC doing? Bulls better tank for flagg to make this worth it.
The problem with the Bulls. No point guard. This led to there downfall. Now the Kings have a much much better point guard than anything the Bulls. Can it work???? Possible. Can they be top 6 in the west???? 50/50. Kings don't have a good point guard this will not work.
