@@gibson yup. Gibson sounds never disappoint us. that why we love it. Would be epic to see Leo Scala doing his arts on Amp or Gibson pedal. wishful thinking.
these are super sick, would love to see a production usa model with the extended pickguard with the pickup switch on it and the 4 knobs and the p90 humbucker combo
Maybe they want to sell all 10 of them to 1 buyer? They should call this the " what-if" series. What if a player bought a 335 and the guitar got flattened by a bus , totally unique sound .
One thing that bugs me... I don't like the fake-aged look, I would have liked to see these done as NOS. But I love the rest of the designs. The B7 Bigsby is an interesting choice (seems like the B5 would fit better). Love the Bigsby, regardless. And they all sound great.
Well, you’re in luck. The is a Gibson USA standard version with a pristine finish that will save you $13,000. Unfortunately, those don’t have the same pickup configuration, controls, or a Bigsby, but I’m sure with the $13,000 you saved somebody make those modifications for and even repaint for you in the color/colors of your choice.
"We made 10 identical guitars except for the color." Seriously. humbucker bridge, p90 neck, bigsby. would u like it in red, or black, or pink, or green, or....
🤣 best quote of the year “I want these guitars to be performing pieces of art, not just eye candy.” oh ok Leo ! The only people who can actually afford them are lawyers Doctors and Stock Brokers who will be playing hackneyed versions of ____________ in their offices or man caves. gtfoohwtbs dude
Murphy TAX .. lol This is such a BS cash grab. The coolest part is.. the 'box'. Call me crazy, but I'm a purist. A guitar earns it's 'aging' genuinely. To pay more for a damaged guitar is silly to me. GREAT for the builders/companies though, turn a factory second over to the 'lab', have them trash it some more and voila, increase the price.
Opinions are like noses…everybody’s got one…& Theodore is one of the ugliest guitars Gibson has made…Teisco did a better job with their “tulip” guitar…and so much more affordable…time to cut your prices before you go into Chapter 11 again…nothing like ruining a perfectly good guitar with artificial aging…
Sorry I just can't get pass the shape looking like the Teisco Japanese guitar I'll stick with my 1969 Gibson SG Standard that came with a factory installed Bigsby it's got some dings and dive bar scars but it still looks better than these
The Teisco similarity is probably your point of reference on the Theodore shape because you remember seeing them. (A lot of people bought those cheap guitars at K-mart.) But Rickenbacker and Gretsch (with the Corvette) had similarly-shaped "tulip" guitars in the '50s and early '60s, way before Teisco. And Ted McCarty's drawing dates from 1957, again, before Teisco. Maybe Teisco got the design from Rickenbacker? Or from Ted? :)

They look AND sound incredible!

46:45 is my favorite, Retroliner Custom '57...already Sold! Congratulations to who picked it up!
Leo Master number one in the world 🤘🔥🎸
Really , not true
I can see Leslie West, with one of those in his hands.....
P90fied....
Beautiful Leo and thank you Gibson.....❤❤❤❤❤
Mind Blowing collection, true artistry ❤️🤘🏽
Leo is a talented guy! I remember him with Gary Kramer Guitars 🎸
Most beautiful Teisco tulips I’ve ever seen
That second one the black one is right up my alley! Wow
Right?! Such a beauty! But i can't help myself from drooling over that "full scala" Theodore in the end 😮
@@jari04 same here. That actually is the stand out piece!
Yesss, it is
These are SICK! Love the thrashed tv yellow and the Bigsby on all the models. Really wish I could get one of these!😭
I loove the Theos. Imagine an Epiphone Custom with binding etc. In arctic white. 🤤
Probably an uncool opinion but I freaking love them! Leo makes everything look awesome!
these are super sick, would love to see a production usa model with the extended pickguard with the pickup switch on it and the 4 knobs and the p90 humbucker combo
I actually like this odd tulip beast!! Its like a tele or sg type just a hunk of wood with tone!
HB bridge / p90 neck is the best pickup arrangement. I hope they implement more on other models too. Bring back the BFG!
That shade of purple 😮❤ can we get some explorers in different finishes now?
That would be cool! -Lee
fantastic guitars, great work Leo
Lion king plays a mean guitar. Killer designs too, truly beautiful guitars
Could you guys at Gibson feature Leo Scala in an interview or shop tour or something? I love this man and his guitars! 🙏🏼
Leo Scala es un genio, amo cada diseño, cada detalle de sus creaciones.
Next up; Firebirds (or THUNDERBIRD!!) 😁🙏🏼
I second this comment!
Hell yeah finally someone did it !!!❤🎉
Looks great. 👍
Amazing!
You are!
$16K? Cool guitars, but at this price this is clearly yet another marketing exercise for Gibson. These guitars are destined for glass cases.
these are sick. IMHO, the drawing is not an explorer headstock and matches the body better
THIS is what they needed
LEO….!!!🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊

this guy when to a different multiverse to grab these!
¿ No parece que se puedan asociar a las Tokai Talbo un poco ? Fue lo primero que me pasó por la cabeza , pero hecho por Gibson y en madera .
The pickguard changes the entire guitar that should be the production design
Now we wait for the Epiphones
I guess ya gotta do something with the guitars that aren't selling.
Fun
I like these ten thousand dollar Teisco's ...LMFAO
16K? And tremolo's unit tail is off an inch from the body! For that price they could have invented special tremolo with proper size!
#9?!
Man, you have to change your name 😂 Never heard the name „Leo“ that often in conjunction with Gibson !
Especially for Leo Fender.😆😆
I may buy one if it does not come all beat up.

The Murphy Lab wasn’t involved with these.
Why you mad about something for simply existing? Ain't no one forcing you to buy it. You big baby.

Love Scala Guitars but even they can’t polish a turd
Ridiculous
This is why I don't buy Gibson guitars or support them. Overpriced junk and a BS sales pitch.
what's with that cable you plugged into that beautiful guitar - next time @ampturcoguitarwerks
