It usually only has the pork trotter, slices of beef, and a type of fish patty. I'm not sure if I have to ask for it, I am Chinese American so I wouldn't know how to. Otherwise, most menus call it "spicy beef noodle soup", where it does not have any of the more "adventurous" meats for simpler palates, just a broth similar to bun bo hue and thick vermicelli noodles.
Blood cake is usually considers as "barbaric and unhygienic" ingredients to add into a dish by people's perception in the US. That why you rarely find a Vietnamese restaurant in the US that has blood cake in the food. Unless you asked them to be "authentic"

I’ve been to Vietnam several times and I’ve never found really good pho, whereas most of the bun bo places are good. It’s the same case as Pad Thai, a national dish, but hard to fine a good one.
Phở Lệ on Võ Văn Tần street, HCMC is the best southern Pho there is. I highly recommend that place if you visit HCMC again. It costs some pretty penny, but ordering for extra bone marrow and poached egg in your Phở bowl is 11/10. I have no idea about northern and central Pho though.

I am so in love with Calvin! His smile is contagious and the animation in his beautiful face when he tastes something he really likes... he is perfect!
Sonny brings out the best of Calvin and vice versa! Despite the foods they review, they both deliver their best performance in what they do as always.
Mmmm, noodles with PVC, yum! 🤣 Streamlining that (micro)plastics right to your digestive system, how cool to be running towards dimmer future!
Vietnamese food is so delicious 😋 Loved it ❤Love from India ❤

Why is she using a sharp knife for the noodles?
But i love my noodles with a little bit plastic in it :|
It's such a delight to see you two guys working together, you're such a great duo! Greetings
Love this..., especially the clam hunter. Best Ever Food Review Show should get thousand of awards from Vietnam Tourism & Culinary.
You are a man of international taste! Love your videos, you have nothing bad to say, you are the ambassador of international cuisine and doing it like a boss!
Another awesome video from Sonny & Calvin duo, or should I say another brother from another mother! You guys should do a podcast and name it "BFRS Podcast with the Food Bros!"
come on Sonny, just let Calvin be a permanent co-host. It just makes so much sense
Did you just said that you are in the philippines.?? In first 2 seconds of the movie
Sonny I love the quality of your videos.... the songs and editing... Omg everything is so on point!
Good to see Calvin!
He and Thuyen are the best sidekicks to Sonny!
Great to see authentic Vietnamese food, especially as I’m only used to seeing the westernised version in the uk.
Bun Bo Hue is the best
love the content! I get so many cooking ideas from watching your show. Some good and bad ;)
Same! 🤣
I’ve recently been on a Pho kick...think I finally figured out my perfect recipe. 🥰😊 🍲 🍜
Do you want microscopic PVC dust inside your noodles?
............YES!
The amount of diverse content you create on such a regular basis is so impressive
Craving from the pipe with an metal knife will have shave pipe rather used wooden knife or plastic that won't shave the pipe.
you and calvin are perfect presentors.... kudos to both of you
Fish poo and microscopic PVC shavings...Hmmm, Hmmm! Sounds delicious?!?
I’ve been to Vietnam several times and I’ve never found really good pho, whereas most of the bun bo places are good. It’s the same case as Pad Thai, a national dish, but hard to fine a good one.
Phở Lệ on Võ Văn Tần street, HCMC is the best southern Pho there is. I highly recommend that place if you visit HCMC again. It costs some pretty penny, but ordering for extra bone marrow and poached egg in your Phở bowl is 11/10.
I have no idea about northern and central Pho though.
@@Booklover138 I’ll check it out next time in Saigon. I go to Saigon to drink beer often😂
Northern pho is better than southern. Go to Hanoi for better pho
I taste amiba😂😂😂..
Any plans to india Sonny?
Calvin adds the spice to these videos ♥️
Calvin and Sunny need more colab!!! Their vibe together is through the roof!
We need a new Japan series. Sonny + Calvin + Suzuka will be epic.
