Vietnam has the best cuisine in the world. The amount of fresh veggies and herbs in every meal is just insane. Look I love meat, but the combination of spices, meat, and veggies is just amazing. Plus Pho is food of the Gods. I love this Country.

Best cuisine must include variety of fractions such as: great taste, easy to be adapted by people from over the world (friendly food), cuisine diveristy, its meaning, good price, healthy, ying and yang balance, popularity, consuming amount ... Frankly to say, we cannot insist on which nation's cuisine is the best just based on some subjective judgement of some websites or private organization.

For the many years that I've watch BEFRS, I have to say that they do the best job in showcasing the food for what it is. Other food channels just have their host stuffing their face and not giving the viewers the full experience of the food. I think it is very well balanced in this show, where you get a little bit of everything (food, taste, history, honest opinions and even jokes), Keep up the great work team!

As an American who eats machine processed food daily I prefer homemade but it's not going to stop me from eating duck egg noodles in a country I only see on RUclips. All of those looked delicious!

Another great episode! About machine vs handmade noodles. My take is that the egg noodles though made by machine is technically still handmade since the people have to mix the flour and manually put it through. 😋
I agree. To me hand made is about the ingredients and not so much the process. Thick, thin, medium - you can get them all depending on the dish, so it's what goes into the noodle and then, what the noodle goes into to absorb the flavour.
Duck egg noodles are very laborious to make. Imagine kneading a hard rubber ball level of hard. You seriously will develop some kind of occupational disease from kneading duck egg noodles comparing with chicken egg noodles.

I'm Thai and I want to try that Thai inspired noodle. The noodle look like our "Kanom Jeen" Which is actually Thai-Burmese (Mon) dish. With tomatoes in the soup and the needle mushrooms does "look" like "Nam Ngeao" which is northern style of soup for the kanom jeen. The original is using Ngeao flowers instead of the mushrooms. It does look alike and probably have close enough texture. But then, Wild seafood appears. Seafood is more of the central, eastern and southern part of Thailand. Fried fish reminds me of Hakka noodle which is inspired from southern China that's been adapted and become famous in Thailand too. Overall this dish is an amalgamation of more than 3-4 cultures in one. Surprisingly, There are no noodle look like that Thai inspired one in Thailand. But the following egg noodle with wonton and the stewed beef noodle are both available everywhere in Thailand.

I just visted hanoi vietnam! I love vietnamese food. Especially all the different noodle soup. Tried one noodle in crab broth, taste so good. Cant remember the name 😅 but i think i recorded the menu in my video.
these two sound so similar they are like brothers from another mother. they both make a great team in presenting. I had the luxury of going to vn in august for a holiday and had pho Vietnam in district 7 in the hotpot....loved it I only wished they put more noodles in it as I was still hungry after haha
I once was given a pair of laying ducks, I'm not sure if this is the same with all ducks but you could peel all the shell off without boiling them & the inner membrane would keep the raw egg intact & you could boil them like that with no need for shelling after, also they made the best egg based dishes & cakes. In Viet Nam, you can change 1 noodle soup every day in a month instead of eating Pho everyday, haha.

Bo Kho with pho noodles is so underrated. All they are missing is chanh muoi(lime and salt pepper) to dip the meat.
Looooove that stuff. My favourite place has an egg noodle option, and maybe that's heresy, but it's really good that way.

I just visted hanoi vietnam! I love vietnamese food. Especially all the different noodle soup. Tried one noodle in crab broth, taste so good. Cant remember the name 😅 but i think i recorded the menu in my video.

these two sound so similar they are like brothers from another mother. they both make a great team in presenting. I had the luxury of going to vn in august for a holiday and had pho Vietnam in district 7 in the hotpot....loved it I only wished they put more noodles in it as I was still hungry after haha

I once was given a pair of laying ducks, I'm not sure if this is the same with all ducks but you could peel all the shell off without boiling them & the inner membrane would keep the raw egg intact & you could boil them like that with no need for shelling after, also they made the best egg based dishes & cakes. What another great video, it always makes my day when I see you have put out another video, cheers.
The first 3 dishes look yummy but that last one makes me want to fly to Vietnam immediately.
