Thank you for making this video. The Biossance sunscreen was the winner for me. I layer it on top of my moisturizer and it gives a velvety texture to my skin and keeps my dry patches from showing through my makeup - normally a huge problem for me. I’m so so happy!
So glad I found your channel about 2 weeks ago I’ve gotten some of your Paula’s choice recommendations I also have dry skin and the Paula’s choice hydrating cleanser is so good !! I also brought the advanced replenishing toner and I really like that. As far as exfoliation goes I brought the skin perfecting 2% bha liquid exfoliant and omg thank you for the info that dry skin individuals can use this to I’ve been using this for 2 weeks now going on 3 and I’ve seen improvements in my skin can’t wait to see more results with continued usage and I also enjoy the youth extending hydrating fluid spf 50 and I really need a life time supply of that miracle in a tube lol. I appreciate your finds so much and congratulations on the baby so excited for you you look absolutely beautiful. ❤️❤️

The CeraVe hydrating sunscreen spf 30 sheer tint is super hydrating and offers light coverage almost like a foundation. The shade will only work for people around a light skin tone though
I love the glow screen as a mixer with the Josie Maran tinted sunscreen. The Josie Maran balances out the eye stinging in the glow screen. And I find the Moran one is a little dry so Glow screen is a perfect mix.

The protect and glow? I have it. It has more tint to it qiving sheer to light coverage. Not my favorite for everyday but it’s nice. I have a full review in my drmtlgy vid linked in my description:)
I think a good drugstore alternative to the original Josie Maran is Cetaphil moisturizer SPF 50. It may not be the same ingredients but definitely gives the very moisturizing/borderline greasy and shiny finish.
I think you have the old ingredient list for the Makeprem UV Defense Sun Fluid. It doesn’t contain essential oils anymore like bergamot oil. Although it has floral extracts like jasmine which prolly gives it a pleasant smell.

For me, the saie TM never dried down, it was pure oil and was crazy greasy and slid all over. When I tried mixing it with better products to use it up, it made them look worse. Never understood the good reviews, it seemed to me like maybe they have manufacturing issues and maybe did a bad job of mixing their product.
I was intrigued with all the new "clean" brands coming to Sephora as I make it a point to not support "clean" brands that use misinformation and fear mongering to market/sell their brand/products. Saie definitely falls under that category. Thankfully though the other 2 new brands LYS & Merit don't seem to.

However I do have a problem when a brand like Saie states "We think it’s crazy that people are being sold products that do harm to their bodies, we think beauty can do better." (Taken from Saie's website under the "Our Story" section).
Finally get a hold of Canmake clear, but was so surprised that it was so dry on my skin. Totally felt the tightness on my first use, needed to stop on my third day. Skin started to peel. No idea which ingredients caused this reaction.

I’m not sure if you’ve tried the Biore watery essence sunscreen but it’s a really good Japanese sunscreen that is shiny and moisturizing, sometimes too much for my oily skin but I feel like I can skip a few hydrating layers with it!
I have a full video review on it :) I like it, but not heavy enough for me to wear on its own. I’m like the glowy finish though! How are you liking it?

Great suggestions! Can you please review the Fenty Skin Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30? It has good reviews on Sephora and I’m wondering if it would be a good one for normal- dry skin.
The tinted version is pretty light but still hydrating. It doesn’t have that heavy silicone feel, so I do think it’d work. Hopefully others will weigh in 👍🏻

I only use mineral as chemical irritate my skin, but most sunscreens these days seem to be chemical especially in the drug store.

I always let my moisturizer dry before applying sunscreen. That's just common sense

The Supergoop is thicker, but less oily. Definitely more glowy :)
