it would be nice if rekordbox had a way of showing deck 1 & 3 next to each other on laptop A and deck 2/4 next to each other on laptop B. That way you could use e.g.. 2 Microsoft surface pro laptops and have all of you decks visualized at the same time and logically above the right jog wheel. unfortunately i don't think that's possible.

It would be so nice if the dj-1000 sent data to both laptops to keep all the tracks in sync and quantized (I know, mix by ear. I can and most can, but it makes it easier during a b2b) and see the wave form in each laptop. Then both people can see what’s going on as a whole.
Seems like this would be a nice feature if your primary laptop crashes... have your back up on stand by ready to go.
100%! I've actually had a second laptop on hand at other gigs, but that is a great idea. If the primary laptop crashes you could still have a smooth enough transition
Is thiere a way of using controller with just one output with two laptops?

Great videos man. But I have 1 question. Will this feature of being able to have 2 laptops controlling the same controller work using 2 laptops running virtual Dj? I already saw that it will work with 2 rekordbox laptops, 2 djay pro laptops and one of each one, but what about 2 virtual dj laptops? Will that be possible?

I would like to use my laptop for the gigs and my PC to work on my library, edit cue points etc.
I tried to backup de lib on my laptop and load it on pc, but Rekordbox than ask something about ... I think it was "cue-points", to be synced with this pc or not.
I ll have to check again what it was ... :-)
But is it possible to just backup the lib on my PC and load that on my laptop, so that every change I made on the pc, will be on the laptop ?
At home, I use the same controller on my laptop and PC
I use 2 laptops with a mixing board.

Does each laptop need to have a subscription to rekordbox?
Nope! The license key to rekordbox is for the software. Each controller actually comes with a unique key, but I've only used one and it still worked for me!

What about Serato DJ Pro. Do both laptops need a subscription or does it work the same as rekordbox in that regard?
