Happening with Techno as we speak (2nd round actually after the early y2k years). So, some gate keeping by those in the know doesn't hurt. Techno is DJ Stingray, Speedy J, Surgeon etc. Techno has entirely different song progressions, is timbre vs melody based (exception Detroit), uses polyrhythms etc. By all means feel free to enjoy, but those labelling this as techno frankly need their ears examined. 😉 Edit: it also doesn't hurt to be critical in terms of performance. There is nothing impressive about a set ran on autosync with hands in the air. And it wouldn't hurt to change your records more often - I mean, still the age of love?? c'mon...)

I said this to one of my friends who Is now also a fan, in a decades time I strongly believe Charlotte will be amongst the top 10 all time djs, amongst names like Carl Cox, tiesto, armin, Paul van dyke... This is amazing. I,m 50 and know trance. She goes back to really making music. Not that going to the top in a minute to get a set done on a high. This is the real trance and dance. Dankjewel mevrouw de Witte.
And that's exactly the problem. When dance music started in the 90s, it was easy to tell which genre it was. Nowadays it's all so muddled that I don't think it's necessary to make any distinctions. Everyone just has to find their own thing. I loved trance AvB, Tiesto and others, but only until they totally fucked up the music. Nowadays it's called "pure" trance, which is played by a few DJs. Back then it was easy to distinguish between techno, trance, house, disco... nowadays it's a mishmash. A few users above are upset that she doesn't play techno ... well it's debatable. I'm not an acid lover, but I love super bass. So die hard techno fans can accuse her of not playing techno, but for me it's ok ... I´m 55 in a few days 😃
Its a very rare thing where the whole set is on fire. Usualy 30 % is just filler and if it lasts for more than 5 minutes at time (for me at least) my adrenaline starts going down and then i need someone within my sight seeing them dancing wild and that gives me the energy to get back into the rhythm and start dancing again. HOWEVER..... i must say this set was nearly perfect. Those acid elements are her signature and i LOVE LOVE LOVE them SOOOOO much. Love from Slovenia.

This set is on 🔥x 10! One hell of a light show as well. Not sure what the tickets went for BUT worth every penny. I just love that one troll that comes on these music threads/posts to bash the performer/Dj and perpetrate as if they are the authority on spinning, music genres and the history of electronic music simply because they may have spent some time in the underground clubs listening to some of the best Dj's, yet have NO CONTENT or subscribers on their own profile page nor do they have the slightest clue of what they are talking about.😂🤣 Wether or not this woman is one of the best Dj's technically, she is getting people out of their house, buying tickets and enjoying themselves. Besides the technical aspect of being a Dj, there is also track selection, putting together a solid set that people will feel with their soul and connecting with those people. It looks to me like she was successful in all the above! PS, she also produces her own music. There is the underground, which I spent a good portion of my life experiencing, and there are productions and shows. This was a production and a great show. They both have their places. Sometimes one needs to get out of those dungeonous clubs and breath the fresh air while listening & visualizing a great set and show! LET THE MUSIC PLAY.......
I have never listened to any music even near this genre (see, I can't even name the genre). I have found myself coming back to this set and I have a feeling I'm on the turn as they say. Given the comments here I would judge that I stumbled upon one of the greats doing a set that is one of the greats. Lucky me I guess.

This set is on 🔥x 10! One hell of a light show as well. Not sure what the tickets went for BUT worth every penny. I just love that one troll that comes on these music threads/posts to bash the performer/Dj and perpetrate as if they are the authority on spinning, music genres and the history of electronic music simply because they may have spent some time in the underground clubs listening to some of the best Dj's, yet have NO CONTENT or subscribers on their own profile page nor do they have the slightest clue of what they are talking about.😂🤣 Wether or not this woman is one of the best Dj's technically, she is getting people out of their house, buying tickets and enjoying themselves. Besides the technical aspect of being a Dj, there is also track selection, putting together a solid set that people will feel with their soul and connecting with those people. It looks to me like she was successful in all the above! PS, she also produces her own music. There is the underground, which I spent a good portion of my life experiencing, and there are productions and shows. This was a production and a great show. They both have their places. Sometimes one needs to get out of those dungeonous clubs and breath the fresh air while listening & visualizing a great set and show! LET THE MUSIC PLAY.......

I have never listened to any music even near this genre (see, I can't even name the genre). I have found myself coming back to this set and I have a feeling I'm on the turn as they say. Given the comments here I would judge that I stumbled upon one of the greats doing a set that is one of the greats. Lucky me I guess.
