My grandfather was a kid during WW2. He lived about a mile / mile and a half from a scrap yard. He would always talk about sneaking into the scrap yard and sitting in plane cockpits and imagine playing with the guns. He said there were always swords and pistols / rifles, and medals throughout the yard. I can't image all the things that are just gone now. Im lucky enough to own a small collection of ww1/ww2 items. Some pieces, some people hate, some they love. To me it is all a part of the history of the world and needs to be saved.

That's awesome! I also own a katana by the same smith, Yukihiro 1st generation or 'Ichi' as you mentioned, and Hizen is the province he is from, which has become what is now known as the Nagasaki Prefecture. I had it imported from Japan last year from a well known dealer. I paid about $8000 for it. Getting a katana properly polished again costs about $150/inch of the blade + shipping costs. I keep mine properly oiled so hopefully I never have to worry about that!

Then you rented it twice for $45 total so all you are in it is $15 not $100. When you said “I’m not really making any money” by selling for $90 you just made $75 profit.

I swear that Pete said in some earlier videos that he already got his money back from renting that chair… and that they paid him $50 to rent it each time

I like how you are always honest and upfront. Many places would be like "aww yeah sorry it is just not worth anything" while thinking (holy shit i am gonna make moneyyyyyyyyyyy)
Seems like you sell very fairly too, that guitar for $60 I would love to have it but i am in ENgland so...

The sword guy got ripped also, the way that sword sits its worth way more than $750.
He should've took it else where for a second opinion. I bet he makes at least 5/10k

@@Dean-cp9opIt’s not a ripoff when those shoes are going for 50 a pair @ a 20% return rate. Cost of listing and shipping he’s looking at making 5-10 bucks a pair.

I understand he has lots of over heads but he's giving some folk pittance for their stuff.
He's taken advantage of people desperation. Plus he makes at least $4000 a month from this channel.
