To second what many others are saying here and what I know I said already but feel like saying again - here’s to many many more years of Creepy Ghost Stories. Not to put too much weight on your shoulders but I think I’d go utterly baths-it without it.

Hey, this is an awesome story! The way you've described the eerie atmosphere and the gripping plot had me hooked from the get-go. Emily's character and her mysterious fate captivated me, and I couldn't get enough of the story. The way the events unfold and the protagonist faces their uncertain destiny gave me chills. It's just brilliant how the tension builds from chapter to chapter! I can't wait to find out more about this fascinating tale. Kudos to the author for crafting such a gripping and atmospheric creepypasta!

For 3 years in a row we got a Christmas time letter here in New Zealand from a stranger family in Canada. The address was ours so they had written it incorrectly for people they knew. The letters were that boastful type spilling all the amazing things their kids had done over the year and about the holidays they had taken and the job promotions and such. Clearly they didn't talk to the intended recipients much as otherwise they would have known all this, and have gotten the picture that the Christmas letters weren't being received. We couldn't be bothered sending the letters back and I collect stamps so I cut up the envelopes, and after the third year the letters stoped coming. Bit of a shame, I liked being nosey, and the stamps were great.

The Dark Somnium did it in Aug 2021. He actually narrates without AI, and collaborated with a female for the voice of the letters. It was significantly more compelling than this.

Herth? Really? Spelled H E A R T H? It's pronounced HARTH. It's a fireplace. Have you really never seen or heard that word before? Don't get me wrong - your stories are wonderful - usually. But your pronunciation of many common words or misuse of grammar is annoying. And they're common words. Like, you frequently use WOMEN instead of using the singular WOMAN or vice versa. Don't see what's so difficult. Anyway, love your stories and usually you're an excellent narrator.

I find it telling that even though you admit CGS is an excellent narrator, the first thing you write is to critique his pronunciation. You know you truly do NOT have to attempt to control everything or everyone.
I (being an imperfect creature) personally enjoy the tiny mishaps in a narration. CGS' voice, narration, tempo and editing attest to the fact that he stands head & shoulders above most others in this field of entertainment. He's intelligent enough to not edit out those small imperfections that gives a more intimate atmosphere to his readings. I feel as if I am included in a friend group in which one has graciously acquiesced to tell us a marvelous tale. We have all gathered around the "herth" and are eagerly listening. Oh, I think I forgot to mention he also writes wonderfully chilling stories as well.
And I have now learned how courageous he is to have embarked on this particular path. His listeners are almost, almost always pleased and grateful that he chose this.
Now, I'm closer to 70 yo than I am to 65. I say all the above after listening to him for the last few years. I don't usually compliment someone this heavily.
I can objectively say that you sound unhappy, perhaps even bitter. Orrr, you're just a troll. Either way his audience don't give a crap cos they recognize quality when they encounter it. And I? I just think that you would find more value in yourself and others if you would chill. But I don't actually give a damn if you do or if you don't. What I do care about is you trying to tear down a good man over something so minutely trivial that only an emotionally challenged person would even so much as mention it. Please either do better or kindly stfu.
