How do you force yourself to believe something? Hope for it, yes, but belief is a tricky one to just turn on.
@@Here_is_Waldo well then do the same thing they did in the story, make up some bullshit about it not being able to leave the box and make everyone believe it. Although I still don't know how many people need to believe it and if just one person knowing the truth would ruin it all

It seems like he would have been fine if he was never told from the beginning. I.E. ignorance is bliss.
If had to explain why there was a faint radio signal in the father's house I would have explained that some kids vandalised the place enough for some waves to get in, and that the father's heart attack was a lie I made to stress the Stalker's new victim less.
I betcha the blonde chick in the bar in the beginning saw the shadow when the car headlights shined in through the bar's window and that's way she had a strange look on her face bc she saw it. 🤔
I'm saying tho if it's based on belief why not believe that shooting it would kill it and shoot the shadow. 🤷

I wonder what happens if the person it chooses to stalk is blind 🤔 if you can't see it and no one informs you of it's presence. Then how would you know it's there?
Or does it even exist then. Since the vision impaired person cannot acknowledge the Shadow. And since the creature choose this person without knowing about blindness, does it just simply slip into non-existent state?
This is the scariest story I've heard in quite a while. It was really good!

I want to be hoooked up by to a bunch of wires and various other brain and physiological-measuring devices that can check stress levels, brain waves etc to see how my body and mind react to the sound of our humble narrator and friend here at CGS. In my own non-specialized perspective my whole body feels like it’s defrosting when he starts talking. I spend the whole day coiled in an unrecognized but very real ball of stress. A wave of warmth and comfort and ease hit me as soon as Brett starts talking. What I can say with full certainty is that Creepy Ghost Stories are good for my health.
These beneficent effects go double when I see it’s a creepy town or creepy house in the woods story ! 👍

All we know is what the people found afterwards.

Did anyone ever stop (while pissing and crapping their pants) and ask this Shadow thing what it wants or needs? Maybe it needed something very simple and people are out here killing themselves for nothing?? But that ending wouldn't make this the type of story the author intended.
