I feel like I missed something somewhere. This story has so many little offshoots, then just ends. Great narration as always, though. Glad to hear the improvement in your voice, and hope you're feeling improved as well.

Probably a typo. They likely wrote 100 when they meant 10.
I believe he had a psychotic break after he found out his wife was leaving him for his best friend Tyler. That's why there's two bodies ( his wife and tyler) I think he found a way to lure them both and killed them. That's what I believe happened... you have to read in between the lines. I could be wrong, but that's my guess 🤷♀️

Then again the first time he saw it he said it was “200 yards away” at night in a snow storm and he saw facial features ! I think maybe the author can’t judge distance ! But hey he’s probably quite the ladies man ! Right ?
Decent story though the ending made no sense to me. If the creature had Tyler already, why did he need the protagonist?
I think the protagonist is the creature, maybe the split with the wife caused a split personality disorder and this was his way of trying to deal with it by giving his rapidly deteriorating mental state an evil imaginary body. It would explain why his friend didnt expect the danger and why he ran off while the creature was killing his friend and also how the creature just appeared in the car at the end of the story.
My thoughts were that the creature had to form some sort of connection with the one he was going to take over. That would explain it watching him for several nights. Early in the story it was mentioned that a man (I believe the name was Roger Patterson) had gone missing about a week before the story began. I think the bearded man was him.

@charlotteemerson5050 That makes sense. I figured the bearded man was the missing man as well. Maybe Tyler's body deteriorated too quickly without the connection. 🤔

I love creepypasta type stories and there is one thing I can always count on regardless of the author. Someone is going to be running and fall at the worst time possible. Whenever someone is running away I'm disappointed if they don't fall. lol

Beginning of the story starts off with a 304 blaming her husband for their failed marriage and to justify cheating. Men if she cheats she belongs to the streets. I’m happily married to my wife in Japan now. ❤

Didnt really see the point if the split with the wife it went nowhere...i thought maybe the creature was gonn be sent by her or she used the guy she cheated on him with as a pawn either in human form or maybe to get him possessed then sick him on the x husband , but no it just went no olace at all .plus the ending was kinda a let down .

Nope. You shouldn’t have CGS but wherever you go we can depend on it being conveniently located in the middle of nowhere and with a fantastic story to go along with it. You sound fully recovered from your recent malady which is great news if I’m right. It didn’t diminish the quality of your uploads one bit. Most people would groan and stay in bed and think ‘let ‘em wait’ until they felt better but that’s what separates you from virtually anyone else.

the story started off okay, but i was waiting for the different plot points to kind of coalesce, but they just didn’t. what was even the point of the romantic half of the story? just felt like filler.

Well, Rachel may have been a monster but not the reason he died. When he went from talking about Rachel to man outside, I thought she turned him into a literal monster or shoved him out into the cold where he became a monster or he was the guy she was cheating on him with wanting to kill him over her leaving or something.
It just ended like that!!!

The protaganist is a beta cuck (I genuinely hate those words, but it's like the writer thought of them and then wrote a character around those qualities). 2 minutes in and his wife has left him for someone she's having an affair with. 8 minutes in, he's thinking about how he's going to make things up to her and show her that he can be better? in his words, he said they just weren't a good match, but nothing indicates that he actually did anything wrong. no abuse, no drugs or drinking, if anything it sounds like typical marital strife. Yet somehow it's his fault, and not his cheating whore wife? Good narating as always, one of my favorite narrators on YT, but the writing was god-awful all around.

I think the story was more infuriating than scary. I'm glad most of the comments see the guy as a beta and the wife as a cheater. Secondly, it's kinda like a psychotic breakdown episode in a cabin fever cp I've heard from TDS. Basically, trapped in a cold situation makes these dilutions in the head and I believe the guy had unalived his wife and bf taylor hence the 2 lying bodies inside the house and the creature makes no sense or appeal, making cabin fever more than likely the scenario. I mean c'mon, after the husband finds out that his wife has been cheating on him with his bf that he would blame himself for her leaving him? Guy must've been filled with rage and planned out a murder plan and tried to leave the crime scene so that the police couldn't catch him but the car died down and he was caught in a tundra and rambled this story to us listeners. To solidify my theory, why would the creature need his body after just recently capturing a live and warm body of tyler?

Love how the story starts off with the typical C U Next Tuesday blaming her spouse for the problems in the marriage. It’s not too surprising, very few ladies these days acknowledge their own shortcomings, so that much is on. But, not going to lie, didn’t finish the story. That intro turned me right off to what comes next, so I dipped out. If there is a silver lining though, I’m grateful to be married to my awesome wife. I don’t have to worry about a cheating whore.
