Loved this! Would love to hear more Sidhe stories, there should be heaps of them, I’ve never understood why there’s not more fae horror stories being explored for movies etc. the genre would be almost limitless.
Even after all this time…you’re still putting out the most amazing narrations of the most incredible stories! Thank you always for your hard work! We all love you❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Awesome! I want to hear more stories about the little people. If they existed they would probably be way older than mankind. Who knows how would they feel about our destructive presence here in this planet. Not even deals with them would save us.
Grandma boy. That’s how it works. The babies will always know more than they say. It’s a beautiful relationship between the grandparents and their grandchildren. It’s always tricky. Great job 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Riddle 1: My tines be long, my tines be short. My tines end ere, my first report. What am I? Riddle 2: Never ahead, ever behind, yet flying swiftly past; For a child I last forever, for adults I'm gone too fast. What am I? Riddle 3: This thing all things devours: Birds, beasts, trees, flowers; Gnaws iron, bites steel; Grinds hard stones to meal; Slays king, ruins town, And beats high mountain down. What am I?
He won’t sell the land because he doesn’t want to put anyone through what he went through (and by the sounds of things is still going through) and before Sarah disappeared he saw the state she was left in But Still…he thinks she may be Happy where she is now! What?😂 Plus at 24:07 we hear the deal but he loses her so does that mean he Lost the deal? Also why was the girl the girl the girl doing her own riddles and how could she see the Fae? This was a good story but there where little bits here and there that weren’t explained well enough but I’m probably just nit picking because I really did enjoy the story!
He passed the riddles. She failed one/some of her riddles. That part suggests that grandma may have had the same experience with a loved one being questioned (the mother, grandpa?). Or, there was part of grandma’s pact that we never get to know, including something about the teller’s loved ones. We don’t know what exactly happened but we do know that she was given riddles and did not win, therefore eating the Fae’s food and becoming one of them. It’s possible that she broke some of the fae’s rules like angering them when the teller and Sarah were younger. Some folklore states that if one deeply believes in the Fae, they can gain sight even when not endowed with ‘second sight’ from birth or from pact. She may have then seen a fae on that night and given them her name. Giving a fae your name directly is said to give them power over you. I think it’s meant to be open ended about why Sarah was taken and I think the teller talks about hoping she’s happy to deal with the burden and the fact that she likely isn’t, just as the mother is in a state of delusion about the Fae throughout the story. It plays into the folklore about them playing mind games on humans and those with ‘second sight’ becoming paranoid and dismissive.
Yall this scares me bc my grandma used to tell me stories about when she was a kid she said that when she and other kids would be at the church there were little people that would play with them and try and get them to go into the woods 😭😭
So if they can mimic voices of loved ones, can I just tell them to let me sleep? There’s been times I’ve been woken up thinking I hear my mom’s voice when she’s not there.
She ate their food. You can't eat the food from the fae realm and remain normal. She'd of been a freak on this side of the veil. She needed to go to allow the transition to take place.
This is the same thing I tell people when they wish they could see "beyond the veil" or whatever. I legit shut off and was DOA to get it, and no. I really promise you it's not cool or fun to see ghosts and other things, all the while debating if you're just bonkers, even while getting confirmation you're not. To know that "fighting their own demons" can be absolutely literal. Especially with addiction. You do not want to see what I see. You think you do, but you really don't.
This was a good one but still unanswered questions when it comes to Sarah and why? He won the challenge... That shouldn't have happened to her but either way, very good story

I know it's only a story and it's supposed to be section and I think it's a great story but didn't even when he did the riddle it was for the girl so why is it that the girl was changed and they kept bothering her afterwards and took her you part of him winning the game was for him to be able to have the girl and the Wolf he was giving the land but those things are going to keep bothering them to run them off the land so technically he got nothing from it and if he was his mother's only child how did he become the seventh son of the seventh son why wouldn't her daughter deal with the fact that I don't understand any of it when he didn't win anything and skipped a generation to go right to him and he's not a 7776 his mother's only son so i am absolutely dumbasses

Not to be rude but the point of the comment’s section is to discuss the content of the video. Tip- spoilers will not be marked in the comments unless a video is specifically marked as spoiler-free review of something or it is a channel rule. There are some horror communities that have these rules stated clearly but unfortunately I don’t know of any storytime, creepypasta style channels like it. I hope you can find some!

Because there's wayyy too many of them in the fictional book genre. And unfortunately the majority are romance stories, not horror stories.
The troll got the riddle from Tolkien, should have known it wouldn't work.
That's what I thought lol
Or did Tolkien get it from the troll? 😏

How are you doing Soulreaver? Wish you all the best!
That was an amazing story and a beautiful narration!! Thanks CGS
Finally, someone gets faerie folklore right
I knew the answer to the last riddle right away. It was the easiest riddle. This is similar to the riddle of the sphinx.
That story is older. A Netflix account you can access outside of the registered household? A dream.
Wonderful story. Keep up the good work. Can't wait for your next one. 😊
Awesome story and narration
i love riddles. happy i atleast got the last one right!
The Troll read the Hobbit?
I got that right away … even remembered it in Gollums voice
That last riddle was so easy i said it in my head after the creature first started it
Really enjoyed tales of the fey. They remind me how much we do not know, and should be wary of. Thank you, CGS. Stay well.

Interesting story, but annoying ending. You can't have Sarah go off with her abusers and then claim she's probably happy. That's just messed up.
She ate their food. You can't eat the food from the fae realm and remain normal. She'd of been a freak on this side of the veil. She needed to go to allow the transition to take place.
Mighta took that last riddle from the hobbit, but still pretty good
Great job,!
I swear ppl LOVE to show they know the narrators first name in their comments 😂
I mean you never deal with fey. Especially eat anything from their land , just entering their realm takes your light eternally
