I agree with you man, I don’t understand why people say it’s mid, so what if it’s got only basic Mario characters? It’s a combination of Regular Mario and Paper Mario, that was like a dream come true to me
The game is great and it having no original characters doesn't bother me since its in the mushroom kingdom, i only hated it when the game stops you to do paper toad missions, bowser jr chase, the blockage of the woods which logicly can be jumped on
7:18 Mountaintop secrets has to be my favorite theme from this game, a sad but peaceful music that can definitely show how flexible Yoko's style can be.
Tbh, the final boss fight was fucking fire in this game. There wasn’t 1 bowser. It where 2. And they threw another fucking plot twist part in the fight that made me shit my pants
even if paper jam is the worst M&L it's still one of my favourite games of all time and honestly has a really underrated ost (title theme kinda mid tho) (spring time breeze is goated) (5:12 color splash another really overhated but goated game)
So even though not all mario and Luigi games are equally good, (Even thougg I like all equally much), you can not say that the music of these games isnt EXCELENT
Also might I add the fact that I love bowsers and paper bowsers dynamic in this game. They feel like siblings that always want to be better than the other one but still manage to work together. I can totally relate
