As for Sunset Wilds, I didn't really care about the descent into nighttime from lap to lap, but I'm still a little disappointed in the lack of "group hug".
I'm just very glad they included the "atmosphere re-entry" effect when you fall of Wii Rainbow Road. No joke, this was the first thing I checked when racing on this track for the first time.

So genuinely the ending made me tear up hearing the staff credits music from the booster course pass DLC. It was such a lovely surprise and add on that Nintendo went out of their way to add for the booster course pass DLC. it is one of my favorite songs from the Mario Kart Series

it's really weird cause i thought they were adding all these city tracks to advertise mario kart tour but they shut down development on that game. They just wanted to preserve the tracks which is honestly kinda honorable on their part even if they feel less inspired than the original tracks
