Yeah this is the chestnut of all chestnuts. My story about it. As a young cocky sax player who thought he knew it all, I went to a jam at a club. They asked me if I knew Girl from Ipanema, Never having played it I said sure. needless to say I bumbled my way through it. A blind man sitting in the front shook his head at every wrong note. He need a neck brace afterwards, At least I went and learned the song.
