i really love the varietta
Love the honesty.
“This road is awful!” 🤣 I have no idea why I laughed so hard at that. Sheesh y’all be safe out there it really looks like those fires are smoking the area up more than Snoop, Wiz Khalifa, and Willie Nelson at a Bob Marley convention on 4/20
Very cool. 👍The S15 is one of the best looking cars Nissan has ever made. And I like the Varietta, too!
The Autech SR20DE (175 PS in the N15, 180 PS in the Primera and 200 PS in the S15) is not the highest revving SR20. The VVL should rev more.
i'm a sucker for convertibles so naturally i like the Varietta. I think it has a lot of visual tuning potential because its still an S15
Spectacular
Thats pretty sick never seen one in Canada, nice seeing August motorcars dealing with rare JDM cars like this.
There was one for sale in GTA last summer for a few weeks and relatively cheap.
@@fritzmckellar1756 Thats awesome, I just heard you can get one at japan auctions for $15k. Pretty insane considering less than 1200 were made.
Love it
Lucky to own one, gets a lot of looks by those car heads. Boneless S15!
Recently the channel Nightride just bought a s14 they named it "Plum" because of the colour i think its a great name for a car "plum"
Because it looks like a Ute and is super unique is why I want one. A lot of them on goo-net are auto unfortunately. And some have some really stupid looking body kits on them. This would be a fun car to DE+T. No need to DET swap because of the lack of rigidity like you mentioned you don't need that much hp. At the same time with how few there are you sometimes really want to keep something like this bone stock not for resale value, but the rarity factor.
I'm just a sucker for hardtop verts, I almost bought an SL55 but I don't agree with the prices these days (many are over 20K USD these days in the states). I instead bought a CL55 AMG to daily because my previous Saab daily was too slow compared to my 33 gtr lol.
Yeah, the push/pull of keeping it 100% bone stock like this one vs. swapping for a turbo SR is tough.
What about Nissan Z hard top convertible
Nice, I get it because I have a 1988 rx7 convertible. Great car even in winter, but yea I engine swapped it and turbo and ecu etc to it and was never the same.
Yeah but they were non Turbo, the roof weighed a ton.
damn
Why exactly did you get rid of your sw20?
Daily drove two of them in the sun and snow over 7 years. I felt like I did everything I wanted with that car. Drove it from Vancouver to LA and back, shooting many videos with it and driving some of the best roads in California. It was time to move on. Wanted a change and wanted an R34. I'd love to own another one at some point though!
I totally understand. I bought a 93 sw21 shell about 2-3 years ago. Slowly added a k24 with 6speed trans w LSD. I must say, since I’ve got it running about 3months agoI’ve been let down with how loud it is as far as creaking, rattling, vibrating etc. I’m working on ironing all that out (as best I can) but aside from that it’s a fun car.
Has anyone ever seen a LHD s15?
Yes there even is a LHD factory R34 GTR in Neitherlands.
@@Archetype_Datsun I must import a low mileage S15 from the Netherlands!
whats wrong with the weather?wildfires?
Ya :(
12:07 Stock S15 is a great stock, so many ruin these cars, never understand why.
Says every enthusiast (not just for s15).
Even modders don't know why they mod as they want original, then mod it, want another original only to mod again and keep repeating.
The S15 is the best Silvia Nissan made. I like the "traditional" coupe in either S or R spec but this Varietta...I really dislike it. Looks are subjective but I think most will agree it just looks so awkward especially since it looks like a UTE as you pointed out in the video 🤣
Yes I usually squint when I look at them with the top up haha
@@RoadsUntraveled a painful thing to behold haha
It looks 6 out of 10 in the rear end
The thing is these we're common as hell in new zealand and alot of middle class white people imported more of them for a upgrade to there mx5s wanted a ferrari tho🙄🤣🤣🤣
when less than 1300 were ever made…how can you say they are common??
i only like varietta cuz its kinda ugly
😂
Same, my taste is extraordinary
