The Eeries Make a Name For Themselves, With a Little Help From Rock Radio

- The rock band from Los Angeles share a name with another band in Philadelphia, making it pretty hard to actually find any information on them. The Eeries also currently only have one song to their name. That song, "Cool Kid," ended up being played on KROQ, a CBS Radio station that also happens to be the most influential rock radio station in the world. This sudden interest in The Eeries even led the other Eeries to note on their Facebook, "Hey guys, we're not the Eeries who were on KROQ." Read more at radio.com

I'm sure there will be one point in this guy's life when he's old and wise enough. He will be embarrassed of what he was doing in his younger years. Trying to be someone he's not. I was and still am a huge nirvana fan and to be honest when I was younger i could see nirvana's music influencing my song writing but influence is one thing and impersonating is another.

Had it not been for him being engaged once upon a time to her, you wouldn't be watching this interview for it wouldn't exist. I'm sure each one of them are good at their instruments but as a band..they ruined their chances of success by having this guy as their singer. I don’t think he’s particularly trying to be Kurt, as Kurt was the opposite of this in interviews (cryptic, reluctant, and balked at the idea of talking about his lyrics). If you see an interview with Frances Cobain, she talks just like this, which is probably just a product of them being together for so long from such a young age.
