Our french toast here in Scotland is just beaten eggs seasoned with salt and pepper then you take slices of bread and dip both sides in the egg mixture and fry in the frying pan with butter or oil till golden brown turning the bread so both sides are cooked, then serve it with crispy bacon and maple syrup,or just tomato ketchup if that's what you prefer, another good video as usual

Thanks for sharing these recipes! I noticed that there are quite a few differences between the recipes you shared on the video and those on your website you linked in the description section. For example, the German pancake recipe on the website uses cornmeal, while what you showed on the video does not. Do you have updated linked recipes on your website? (Right now I'm just taking notes from your video and adjusting the recipes on your website.)
Just search in YT for "six sisters instant pot accessories" and videos will show up with these. Ironically, one of these is the first Six Sisters video I ever watched. It was late and it popped up in my feed and, zombie-like, I clicked and was hooked! I had an IP still sitting in its box and bought some of the things that were suggested right away. Then waited another 6 months before I finally broke that bad boy out and used it! 😂
Hey Kristen, which IP is the one you use that you don't have to turn the knob to get the pin to drop? That's the one I want but I don't know which one it is
How do you know how long to cook something in the pressure cooker? Is it experimentation or is there a list showing how long to cook things? With the price of food these days, experimentation could be far too expensive if a dish gets ruined.
There should have been a chart with your pot. Instant Pot has a website with all of their times There are also charts online if you have a different brand.. Just Google, say whole chicken Instant Pot times.
I love this video! I am determined to use my IP more this year. It was a resolution from last year, but I didn't do as well as I'd have liked. This year, I'm starting with this video right here and making the ones I can ketofy then moving right to the video recommended in the corner. My plan is to keep moving on through whatever video you recommend in the corner of the one I'm watching. Im going to use that thing this year to justify the space it takes up!! Thanks, Kristen, for always having positive and useful content delivered with your sunny personality!
When you cooked the whole chicken was that in a 6qt or 8qt pot? I’m going to make your Mac n cheese recipe today, it will be great for my son who had his wisdom teeth pulled a few days ago and is still eating soft foods. Thanks so much!
Just in case she can’t answer you. If it is a small chicken like hers , I believe she said 3 pounds it’ll definitely fit in a 6 quart ip. I’ve cooked a 4-5 pound chicken in a 6 quart. Any bigger than that you may have to move up to 8 quart. It may look like a tight fit when put it in but it’ll be fine. I normally fit a whole chicken with carrots and potatoes in mine. I do cut the potatoes and carrots up of course.
I hope your son is feeling better! It’s no fun having wisdom teeth removed. I had mine surgically removed and was in pain for around 6 months after. I kept telling the surgeon at my check ups I could feel a piece of bone or tooth behind the last tooth on one side. Each time he’d look and say he didn’t see anything. Long story short I had to keep being seen long after the removal and constant pain finally one day a piece of bone or tooth came out and instantly the pain was gone. I hope your son doesn’t have anything like that and recovers soon!
HELP!!!!! Ok so I have an eight quart instapot and it was working fine now all the sudden when you turn it on the LED screen just flashes the word LID and it beeps constantly. I've tried taking the lid off and putting it back on but it doesn't make the little trilling noise when I mess with the lid. Nothing I do changes this I've tried taking the lid off pushing other buttons leaving it unplugged for a while and plugging it back in nothing changes. What do I do? Can this be fixed or do I have to go get a new one? I've looked at the instapot site but aparently this is new to them because I can't find any answers there. Please help and thank you! BTW love your videos!
Which browser are you using? I watch RUclips with Vivaldi browser and don't see "cards" or "dots" (no advertisements, either). As far as I am concerned, that's a feature, not a "bug". If you use Edge, Firefox, or Chrome, you will probably see all that. Look in the _video description_ , Kristen puts links there, too.
All of these recipes look delicious. The mac and cheese...major comfort food!! Can't wait to try these. I've got chicken and rice going right now in my pot. I'm on a comfort food roll!!

How would the French toast go if you didn't have the pans? What could you substitute with?
Just throw it in the oven in an 8by8 for 30-45 at 400
