In 2020 I was fortunate enough to discover a 97 2.8 Z3 in a misplaced ad in Auto Trader. A one owner seldom driven and always maintained with all the documentation. It was in Calgary Alberta and has been my daily driver in Saskatchewan ever ever since. It looks out of place in a sea of white pick-ups and SUV's but that only adds to my enjoyment.
I HAVE BMW Z3 1999, I LOVE MY Z3. I DRIVE IT EVERYDAY AND EVERYDAY IS A FUN DAY
Well Id say awesome job to them back then. Its an awesome car! I have the 2.5l version.
crazzy they used water based paint in 1994, that's insane to me
I have a '98 Z3 2.8L roadster and love it. Even though I don't have subframe issues, I blame BMW for not accepting the blame for poor design and strength of the subframe tearing apart.
Nick Funk yep, the car was never designed for the sixes, they should have done a complete redesign on the sub frame to handle the extra power. I have the 1.9 and love it but sometimes I wish it had more power
owned the 1.9 the 2.5 another 1.9 and a 2.8... moving to the uk soon and want to buy the 1.8 and I still have never owned the 3.0 or the 3.2 LOVE THIS CAR
Do you find that the 1.8 is too slow?? Or still good and fun to drive??
@@dajusta87 it'll be fun to drive although sluggish
What I didn't like about the Z3 is zero adjustments for alignment for the rear and minimal for the front. Though you can purchase an aftermarket kit for the rear that some pieces have to be welded in.
yup going to buy one;-)
My name is Bond. James Bond.
Why all the music when the straight 6 sings its own wonderful note!!!
James Jones is a smooth dude tho
Actually the factory is in Greer, SC. It’s in Spartanburg county.
I think the bmw didn't get old like the driver's clothes ;)
Does this Models and as I’ve seen other companies put their unsold new cars for sale for senior citizens that live on a fixed income I would love to have a BMWZ3 or two to Cedar sports car or three seater please get back to me this car is my dream vehicle thank you Ron H.
@ 3:03 anyone have that steering wheel for sale?
That steering wheel is nice
Never saw that wheel on a Z3. My best guess is that it was from the BMW Individual division. Good luck finding one!
@@brianevans673 4 years ago... sold my Z3 a couple years back
RH drive on LH drive road. Good luck😊😊😊
We do it all the time in Canada with our RHD imports from Japan !
Yeah, but you could easily be the coolest mailman ever.
How about less band music and more engine music, please!
Delmarksman I actually like it.
not gonna ruin it for ya..But this was recorded in 1996.... A bit too late with that comment...
