I haven't heard anybody talk about it, but doesn't Enid wolfing out seem like an allegory for hitting puberty/girl having her first period?
It happens with every werewolf and it's cyclical, she had it happening later than others and her mother was really concerned about it when her father was chill and when it finally happens she ends up covered in blood.
I can`t wait to see season 2 of Wednesday to come out.
But the entire show was such nonsense. They totally fucked up the whole addams family thing. They are interesting because they are different. So.. where do they set it? A school full of misfits. Also... how was goodie addams called addams if they didn't take that name until gomez married morticia. See.. stupid

@@JB-wy8fc I mean Gomez went to that school of misfits too, is it so hard to believe that he could have seers in his bloodline and Goody was from his side of the family? Maybe the reason Wednesday was a raven and such a powerful seer wasn't just because of her demeanor but also from getting the seer passed down from both her mother AND her father?

Feel like it's worth mentioning now that you've finished the season but Xavier's actor likely won't be returning for season 2. Many people, Jenna Ortega included, didn't enjoy the love triangle plot that they had this season, not to mention that Xavier's actor had SA allegations shortly after the show aired. So he's most likely not coming back and if he does, he'll likely be recast.

Guess Xavier couldn't Hyde from the allegations, the answer was right in front of us the whole time.
I wouldn't hate a recast. I feel like they're just gonna write him out though (just not mention him again). They're kind of lucky Xavier's dad isn't even cast yet, most of the other cast's parents were, makes it easier to write Xavier and his dad out of the plot.

The only complaint I had about this show was the love "triangle." Xavier was literally never even a player in that triangle, Tyler was always so much better with his lowkey attitude and unshakeable demeanor. Even as the Hyde they're better together.
Apparently the only reason the "triangle" was written in was because Wednesday and Enid were supposed to get together but they felt we weren't ready for that. Still, a better pick than Xavier.
Wait, really? They planned to make Wenclair a thing from the start?

yes exactly the people now wanting her to end up with Xavier just cause it turns out Tyler was the sociopath. Like do they not know Wednesday character at all
I wouldn't mind Wednesday x Enid or Wednesday x Tyler, but the main star Jenna Ortega hated the love triangle and wants the romance gone for season 2. I guess we'll see.
