What is your final review of this season? Like it? Hate it? In between?
I agree with what was said, it felt like it was meant to be 10 episodes adn then they were told it had to be 8 and was rushed at the end.
I liked it. Can't wait for season 2.
I liked how they dealt with Tylers part but I was disappointed with the Crackstone plot, like you guys I thought it was rushed and messy like they realised they had too many loose ends that needed to be wrapped up. As a whole I loved it tho even if it did stray from the usual Addams vibes.
I really liked it, maybe it could have been more episodes. I'd have enjoyed that more. Can't wait for Season 2
I liked it. I think it's odd to go with a sort of investigation take on Wednesday; however, mystery and detective is my thing, so I'm in. I just hope they do a good job in the next season. It's not an easy thing to keep up. I hope you watch Cobra Kai next. That show is a masterpiece with no hard reason why, which makes it even better. That show, to me, is Netflix's Walking Dead.
"Tyler, you are a saint."
Famous last words 😂. Knew you guys would freak out lol
They lingered on the red boots in a few different scenes, namely when we're first introduced to Laurel in the girls bedroom in episode one and again during the dance in episode four so the fact that the boots are red is a great clue actually.
On that episode thornhill came in to the room Saying she was sorry for the mud in her boots.. may be she was in the muddy woods right when the first murder occurred.. but it was too obvious so I didn't pay too much attention..
Wednesday is a writer before anything else. Which is why she always goes on these insane monologues. She can’t help herself, it’s who she is to the core. It’s a flaw and that’s ok, people are flawed. I never understood people who get upset when a character doesn’t do the exact right thing every time. People make mistakes constantly.
All Wednesday did was trying to save the school and everyone from day one without any help.... No One believed her, even her best friends.. she should have left the school from day one and let that monster killed everybody..bunch of ungrateful morons...
James: Tyler, you are a Saint.
*3 seconds later*
Everyone: *losing it after Tyler's "question"*
i think the funniest way to resolve weems' death is to just have gwendoline christie show up again as her twin sister. also the funniest way to resolve the stalker texts thing would be if it was just enid goofing around. anyway, yeah, a lot of the final episode is kind of painfully contrived, but i do still like it.
Yes!!! Love it!
I saw an interview with Gwen where she was asked if her character was dead. She smiled and said you never saw a body buried or something to that effect.
Weems could have been so much more in season 2, so mad they killed her.
Who said she was actually dead? 👀
Angelica Houston is going to be in Season 2 so I suspect she is going to replace Gwendolyn Christie as Headmaster which is a shame as I would have loved to see them both play off against each other.
@@augustus7975 Exactly!
If you go back and watch the very first episode of Wednesday Thornhill is wearing those red boots, and anytime you see a full-figure long-shot of Thornhill you can see the boots. I had to go back and look to be certain, however, it was there.
Remember on the first episode thornhill showed up with muddy boots ..she says I'm sorry for the mud on my boots.. so I discard her being involved in the murder because it was too obvious.. why did she need to say I got mud on my boots..
@@vancoronavirus9566, the comment regarding mud on her boots could have been simple good manners for tracking mud into one of the student's dorm rooms. It could have been a throw-away line or it could have been a clue.
@@LeeCarlson that's what I thought ..but it ends up being a clue with the excuse of good manners..they focused on those boots with mud and it wasn't for good manners..it was too obvious anyway so I discarded her as a suspect..
@@vancoronavirus9566, this is Tim Burton, I did not discard anybody as a suspect, except for Xavier because Burton had stopped just short of putting a flashing neon sign over him, which told me that he was a red herring.
@@LeeCarlson lots of people called it on Tyler since day one...i don't know why...
I thought the finale was okay at first but liked it a lot more on rewatch. Can’t wait for s2!
I’m so glad ‘Wednesday’ is getting Jenna Ortega some more recognition, she’s been killing it for years. If you plan on continuing the Scream franchise, she‘s awesome in 5.
Donnnnnt worry, weems has become one of the most beloved characters in the show and there are countless theories and things to suggest or at least hint at Weems still being alive. Gwendoline (the angel the portrays her) even posted the teaser for the second season which an actor wouldn’t typically do if they were no longer involved in it. 🎉🎉
How is she one of the most beloved characters in the show? She kinda gaslit Wednesday and made her look deranged . Like Wednesday witnessed a murder and she was like, "nah, nobody died". And she never listened to her until the last moment..tell me again how is she one of the most beloved characters?
@@laramiaizz lmfao what so because you PERSONALLY don’t like her character that means she can’t be beloved by others? You sound like a toddler throwing a tantrum.
@laramiaizz it just so happened that her character won a lot of hearts🤷🏿♀️ not much to it.
Also, we were given her explanation for why she covered up Rowan's death, which, when you consider both povs, both are valid to an extent.
Other than that, Wednesday didn't really go to her with much else, or couldn't because something else would end up showing up, or only went to interrogate her about one thing or another (showing Wednesday's impulsivity).
Also, Weems is a headmistress to a school of weirdos, so at the end of the day, Wednesday isn't the only student she has to care for. Plus, Wednesday wasn't able to give concrete proof considering visions can be misleading/misinterpreted and then towards the end, the only thing she is aware of is that apparently her old roommate's daughter has kidnapped some normie boy and intends to torture the shit out of him, and considering Wednesday already has a few strikes going against her, it's not surprising that she did what she did. Lastly, Wednesday didn't explain any of her plans and would just go for it, endangering herself and others in the process.
@@abbyclarke1717 gaslighting a teen girl who witnessed a horrific murder and making her look like she's deranged is valid?? Wow..we sure love when adults gaslight kids right?
There is no reason for her (Weem) to be likeable..no reason at all.
@laramiaizz EDIT: I'm also not sure why your comment I responded to has vanished, maybe it was deleted (tacky behaviour in that case), maybe it was reported, but for context for passerby's: "gaslighting a teen girl who witnessed a horrific murder and making her look deranged is valid?? Wow.. we sure love when adults gaslight kids right?
There is no reason for her (Weems) to be likeable..no reason at all."
I said her _reasoning_ was valid. Furthermore, I said "to an extent." Use your brain. I never claimed that the way she spoke to Wednesday was valid. And if you don't like her, so be it, but there are others that do for one reason or another. You don't have to act salty about that.
To me, Tyler presents as a bipolar psychopath in the vein of the original Dr. Jekyl. And keep in mind that the director/editor made a point of lingering on Joseph Crackstone's ring when he was destroyed. I think that the best is yet to come.
I often wonder if Crackstone was part of some crusade to annihilate outcasts, the opposite to the Nightshades if you will. And that group, whoever they are still are lurking in the shadows waiting for an opportunity to kill the outcasts.
Good thing you're not a doctor then, because you're using "bipolar" wrong.
@@sarahhughes4437 same thought. It's just a popular misconception. Some people also use schizophrenic for some reason
The correct term if u want to talk about "multiple personalities" (they're actually called alters) would be DID which is short for dissociative identity disorder
Also, I'm so bitter about weems death. Istg I need her back next season, alive, dead and ghostlike, flashbacks, idc. They got me attached to her. They can't just strip her away. Marvel does that enough😒😭
I came to see the "Surprised Pikachu" faces at Tyler's "How does it feel ........to lose?" reveal.
I wasn't disappointed ❤️
I think something that bothered me the most is how Wednesday didn't ever solve anything correctly on her own. Her visions bail her out and hand her the correct answers eventually.
Part of the fun of this show are the confrontations between WED and the Suspects. If she gets it right, from the start, it's 2 episodes max
@@TangentOmega She can still be wrong at first, as she tries to navigate and figure things out. But in the end, she only ever figures out the correct answers from her visions that spell things out plainly. I'd prefer her to have some ability to piece clues together where her visions are just clues and not the entire answer to the mystery. Most of her visions were fine, but the final Tyler vision where he is revealed as the monster felt like lazy, or maybe rushed, writing.
The whole thing about Wednesday's character is she feels like she knows how a thing like this goes because it's something she devotes a lot of time to, including her writing but she also has trouble actually understanding people outside of a purely logical sense. Every vision she has (outside one or two) she approaches that way. Hope this made sense. She solves things incorrectly but I think that's the point.
Nor did she ever apologize for getting anything wrong. She legit got people put in jail, and then she just changed her mind.
It is part of her character. It is mentioned a few times that she is single minded and gets in her own way. She got so sure she was right about who the monster was she couldn’t see the real clues.
I absolutely loved it! I can wait to see what they do with season two.
What I wondered the first time I saw the episode and what I still wonder is, why didn't Bianca with her Siren voice demand that Tyler tell the truth when asked if he was the Hyde? That way they would have known quickly that he was.
I’m glad you enjoyed this series! I hope they return for a 2nd season! I always found Thornhill a hypocrite for using the supernatural to exterminate it. Same for Crackstone. As for Tyler, I only pitied that his father failed him by not being honest; then Tyler would’ve gotten the proper help. Maybe he could’ve privately attended lessons to help him channel his ability. Wednesday and Enid’s hug and Eugene using his power to stop Thornhill as well as Bianca’s help to end Crackstone was amazing! It’s a shame that we lost Weems; I truly believed that she would’ve helped Wednesday from the beginning for the sake of the school and her safety. I have a theory that the stalker is either Tyler’s mom, Xavier’s dad, or an Addams like Grandma or Cousin It.
👧🏻🐺👹👩🏻🦰😈🧪🔪⚔️🐝🤞🏻✌🏻🖤
plant lady defeated by the bee kid. fitting
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think in the end, Cragstone turned into the thing he was against.
As many others tyrants through history.
I thought it was bc he was awakended by magic, maybe?
I think he always was an "outcast" ... and either he couldn't handle that fact, or he wanted to be the _only_ one because that meant keeping all that power to himself.
I watched the whole thing again and is still convinced that one way or another Xavier is a bad guy of some sorts. 😂
5:06 Famous last words lol xD I remember being so mad but in a good way because I really liked Tayler so I didn't see it coming and even when it was revealed I was like "no there's no way he's aware and he's evil "
My theory is that the show runners weren't sure if they would get a season 2 so they rushed the ending so even if they get cancelled at least they finished the story.
Seems like it
The show was written and filmed as a complete 8 episode season from a Netflix 8 episode production order. Why would they need to rush the ending? All they did was confirm who the Hyde and master was, they ended it with Wednesday going home on break with a lot of open questions for the next season.
They were in Romania for 8 months to film the show, i do not think that they rush the ending..
YES! Hayley SHOULD react to the 90s Addams Family movies! Also great reaction. :)
My only personal conclusion on why Weems was killed off is because the amazing actress who played her, (forgive me for not remembering her name), is also busy with her role in Sandman season 2.
Wouldn't it have been more efficient if Bianca sirened all the answers out of Tyler? But not as much fun.
In ep1, they introduced Thornhill's red galoshes even before her face. 🔔 🔔
Weakest??????????.......... Enid finally Wolfs out and saves Wednesday and shows her stuff. Wednesday finally hugs Enid. So many others come to help Wednesday in the big fight. WEAKEST?????????? NOT EVEN.................
Ya James seemed quite salty about the whole episode. I thought Wednesday just standing there and taking a knife to the guts from Crackstone without fighting was the weakest part, but meh, other than that I thought it was excellent.
@@ronweber1402 Never been in a fight that you didn't know was a fight, have you. A fighter going into a ring is expecting a fight.
@@pauldhoff It was Crackstone coming at her after he had just vowed to kill all the outcasts. I don't know about you but that would instantly have my guard up and as to not expecting a fight she reacted quick enough in the diner when the kid grabbed her from behind. I just thought Crackstone got her too easily.
@@ronweber1402 Yea, Wednesday didn't just go thru some BS and was all clearheaded about what he was about to do. He pulled the knife quickly on her and didn't say, I going to stick you now. War Vet here.
@@pauldhoff Okay Rambo. Bahahahaha.
When I first finished the show I came out going, 'yes, I loved that!', but then I did binge watch it, which I think makes a difference, because the longer I thought about it all over the following days and weeks I started to see the flaws more. However it has not taken away from my overall enjoyment. I would watch it again and I will definitely be watching the second series whenever that is.
I do think the show suffered from trying to cover too many age ranges all at once. I say this because I am a Brownie leader and whilst waiting on one of my Brownies being picked up she started telling me about the series (I had just finished watching it myself) and told me how much she loved it and was now watching it a second time already. So clearly there is something in it that appeals to the younger audience, while the darker moments seemed to be aimed at adults. Therefore I personally think that in trying to cover everyone it lost something along the way. Just my opinion though.
You should watch His Dark Materials! It's so good and criminally underrated.
I thought you guys would have looked into this before the final episode. Gomez was based on the original animation and animated series. Fester was based on the animation and original TV show. If you look back at the original stuff you'll actually see a lot of similarities and may not dislike The new renditions as much.
Thornhill wearing red boots in the first episode when she went into Enid's and Wednesdays room..
There are definitely problems with this show but for some reason I’m completely obsessed. It’s probably because of Enid, Eugene, Thing, and Uncle Fester (I loved his dynamic with Wednesday), and just lots of different interactions that Wednesday has.
But I loved your reactions and thoughts, it’s always interesting to me to get so many different perspectives on a show.
Enid, Eugene and Thing must be protected at all costs.
I enjoyed the fuck out of his series. It blew anything in terms of expectations I had out of the water. I don't see how anyone can like this series and complain about anything other than nick pick things(which you can do for 99% of shows/movies no matter how perfect you think they are.) Jenna Ortega absolutely killed it as Wednesday
In my opinion Weems shouldn't have revealed herself that she turned into Tyler.
w00t! Enid going all Vicar Amelia is the best!
I would absolutely love a reaction to earlier renditions of the Addams Family, specifically the Christina Rocco version so she can get why it’s such a sweet thing that she was in the show.
"I feel like none of the students know what's going on"
Yoko and Divina sure af do, and Ajax probably strongly suspects.
Happy to see the last ep reaction!
And Locke&key is a nice show if you want to watch it😁And YES a new The Addams family reaction would be fun! The 2 older movies and the 2019/2021 animation movies😍
The amount of hate Xavier gets pisses me off smh 😤
Thing steals the show.
I loved this show, even if the ending is flawed. I think they just had too many threads and didn't give themselves enough time to wrap them all up. Which resulted in some big contrivances. But again, I still loved it. Honestly my biggest complaint was that we didn't get more epic cello solos.
I feel like whenever a curse is portrayed in movies, if it ever gets lifted, the cursed come back with superpowers.
Internet Theory: Wheems didn't die - if you see Lurch's face in the end, he looks a lot more "alive" than the beginning of the show. The theory is that Wheems took his form and is putting her own plans in motion. Can't wait to see what Tim will do in Season 2
I think Tyler has two personalities. He looked kinda sad after he gloated to Wednesday and the therapist said she felt like she was talking to another person when she questioned him about his mother. Lastly I have a feeling the name Tyler is a reference to Tyler Durden from Fight Club. 😉
"eradicating the outcasts" I mean, does she think that school is the only school in the whole world that has outcasts? Surely there's a whole hell of a lot more than just what's at that school.
9:41 you have to notice at the beginning in first episode the dirty red boots. Instead you guys noticed the split in the floor
I wonder who'll play the principal in season 2 (we all know there's gonna be a season 2) now that Weems is dead.
I'd actually like to see Tim Burton himself as the principal. Not even playing someone else, just Tim Burton playing a fictionalized version of himself.
I'd also like to see Gideon in season 2, the guy who married Bianca's mom and the one in charge of Morning Song.
For some reason I could picture Djimon Hounsou playing the part.
Could I recommend that y'all react to Where The Crawdads Sing? It's a movie about this girl who lives in the marsh, and then gets put on trial for murder, it's honestly so good.
yall should watch kickin it next its a good karate show and its super funny and hilarious af and has good characters i think yall would love this show
While different from the '90s movies, I think these versions of Fester and Gomez were a bit more like the '60s Fester (kinda Three Stooges Curly aspects) and original art Gomez (a portly haunted house-ish Peter Lorre). Meanwhile, Wednesday evolved too and this version of her takes much more from Christina Ricci's Wednesday than seemingly the old b&w tv series or from the cartoon where she was more of an American Gothic mini-Morticia.
I found the series fantastic. Burton was a perfect fit as director. (He was apparently the original choice to direct the '90s Addams Family movies! But couldn't due to scheduling with the Batman films.) The whole thing felt like '90s Wednesday, a little more grown up and off doing her own Nancy Drew/Scooby Doo/Goth Girl detective thing in the world of the Addam's Family setting.
The performances were amazing. I think Wednesday herself having so few lines allowed, or required, Ortega to express her character more physically, like in the subtleties of her facial expressions, her eye expressions, posture, her physicality. Gwendoline Christie's was equally impressive. It's just perfectly nuanced enough where Principal Weems's smiles shift from sincerity to smiling through gritted teeth, and it's just barely perceptible, which simultaneously tells you about her character-she's a politician, just like the Jericho mayor-and it also makes you suspect her earlier on. (And Weems has as much fashion sense as Christie herself.) The guy who played Tyler? Think about it: you only start to figure out there must be more to him because what's the point of his character if there isn't? But that's meta-reasoning. It's like he's two completely different people: Jekyll and Hyde. That face-heel-face turn in the police station? If that's not great and subtle acting..
I am wondering if Gwendolyn could only do the one season and thus killing her off. I never liked Tyler as a love interest. I think I guessed within a few esp that he was the monster which I think swayed my opinion on him. Much better having him be super evil.
I love that Xavier instantly forgives Wednesday after she takes the arrow for him. One of the reasons why I'm shipping them for season 2 hella hard
I love Xavier
Yeah we like xaviers soooo much
Yeah we like xaviers soooo much
Yeah we like xaviers soooo much
I'm so proud of Enid, making her first werewolf transformation and defeating the Hyde in the end 😎
Never mind all the self appointed critics, I bought Season 1 on dvd and watched it twice. I enjoyed it. I'm pretty much a Tim Burton fan, so that's one reason why I liked this series. The acting, the characters, the story. What's not to like? 😁
In general, I am delighted with the series, Tim Burton knows how to shoot: entourage, music, costumes, etc. ) At the same time, I must admit that from the first episode I was sure that Tyler would be a villain. And I also constantly thought that Christina Ricci was clearly not just an invited "talisman". It was because of the two of them that I constantly doubted who would be the villain, until the moment when it became known about the master and servant monster. 🙈 Everything fell into place. Unexpected was only the death of Weems. (
The hug was the best thing ever
Yes, please do an Addam's Family movie reaction! Please!
I wished so much that it was a switch in personality. Like the book said he might not know. But I’m fine with this route too
Love the reaction. Thanks guys!
I've commented before, but I'd love to see you guys react to the Legend of Vox Machina, which just finished season 2
Can't be surprised about Wednesday torturing somebody In one of the movies She was trying to kill her newborn baby brother
All of a sudden Enid is not scared to go and face the monster... But on the 5th episode she cried like a little girl because she chose to get in the mansion to help Wednesday .. she made Wednesday looks like the worst friend..
I’ve been waiting for this moment to share my thoughts/theories with you guys, because if I had said anything before I would have spoiled it (not on purpose though. I’m Tom Holland bad with spoiling). So here are my thoughts and theories:
1.) I feel like we haven’t seen the end of Thornhill yet. She was never actually killed. So I think she either escaped from Nevermore before being arrested or she was arrested. But I feel like she will return for S2.
2.) I absolutely love Tyler. I really don’t think he truly knew what was happening to him. Literally everyone blames him and says he’s the bad guy, but he was manipulated and tortured, possibly even hypnotized into the Hyde form. I think he has two different personalities. The Hyde personality and his own true self. I also believed he truly loved Wednesday. I feel like Wednesday is the only one who can keep him himself and calm. But that could just be my wishful thinking because I love romance and I thought they were great together.
3.) I’ve heard theories that Lurch is actually Weems in shape-shift form. I don’t know if I personally think that, but looking at Lurch at the beginning of the show and at the end, he does look different and his eyes are a different color too.
4.) In regards to Crackstone, they focused in on his ring too long for it to not be important in S2. Somehow that ring will play a decent part into S2.
Final Thoughts: Honestly I’m excited for S2 because I want to find out who the Stocker is. I wish I could say I had an official theory about this one but I don’t.
I was super impressed with you guys at how fast you called Thornhill and Tyler out right at the beginning of the show. That was impressive. And here I thought I was the only one who predicted things super quickly hehe just kidding 😂.
That’s all I’ve got for right now. Loved your reactions to the show.
I do have suggestions for other things for you to react to if you’re interested.
Side Note: also I discovered that Tyler’s actor Hunter is 29. He looks so young!
James says Okay it's fine I know she's a little weird and a little strong with her friends and we like that but in the end they criticize her for that like for example "but don't be like that" "be more cordial" then decide guys suddenly no it's her suddenly it's you who are not a fan of that personality and she is not strange she is unique and you did not have that when you reacted to Christiana Richi's version
Guyss.. after this season had finished (and we still waiting for the season 2), are you interested to watch another series again together? cuz i wanna recommend you guys 'Lockwood & co.' and would like very much to see your reaction to this series this time!!^^
Honestly I dont think Tyler is out of picture now. After the ending, we know he WILL come back and I think it would be interesting to see more Wednesday and him (it's Wednesday Addams, she cant have normal boyfriend lmao😭) AND NO ONE CAN TELL ME TYLER DIDNT FALL FOR HER. He didn't want to kill all these people, he had literally no choice, someone just needs to free him and he'll be okay
Oh please shut up
This is a Netflix show so they probably had the option to make more episodes but with the same budget as for 8 episodes. I think having them be higher quality is the way to go
We see her red boots before we even see her?
Yesss please do an Addams Family reaction ❤️ would love that and as far as the cliff hanger goes I know it isn’t the same but I partially compare it in a sense to the Family Reunion part where she says she’d scare him to death and then scares him? Does that make sense? Hopefully it does 😅💁🏻♀️
Remember first episode the red boots and finally she s right
Hello White Noise,
Glad you enjoyed "Wednesday". I agree that the finale underwhelmed a bit with Wednesday easily beating Crackstone & Enid's issues with wolfing out getting resolved so quickly & easily. I thought Crackstone was a one note villain straight out of a Scooby-Doo episode that didn't look or act like a real threat. Neither did Miss Thornhill. Other than that, the show as whole is a delight as are the characters & the other storylines as well. Jenna Ortega is outstanding as Wednesday as is the rest of the cast in their respective roles. The second season is currently filming in Ireland & I have read that the show will undergo some major changes next season, including a tonal shift as it will be darker & gritter & be more straight up horror than the campiness that was present throughout the season, although in my opinion, the gothic horror was perfectly balanced with the campiness. I'm hoping for an "Empire Strikes Back" vibe or a "Wrath of Khan" vibe myself, although doing something in the vein of "The Omen" or the "Exorcist" wouldn't be bad either. I rate this season 8.3 out of 10, although a rewatch may push that score even higher. What do you want to see in Season 2 of "Wednesday?" And am I the only one that wants to see a romance between Enid & Wednesday?
If you guys want a short wholesome show to watch, I recommend Heartstopper, it's only 8 episodes and on Netflix.
Your reactions to Tyler in the police station was all I was hoping it would be. That scene was EXCEPTIONAL to me, and the actor definitely deserves credit for it. I get why this feels the weakest episode to you; while I am mostly satisfied with it, I will admit Crackstone's defeat felt rushed. I would have preferred maybe a larger battle with the others and Wednesday working together. Funny enough, my biggest complaint about this episode is that Goody's Book of Shadows (which, if it was never explained, is a witch's book of spells) was apparently written in Latin when she's from Mexico; it should be in Spanish.
I think one of the main points of this episode was Wednesday needing to realize that she CAN'T do everything on her own, in her own way. The entire show she's been around other people, but no one has really called her out completely on her actions. In this episode, they did. They saw her with the torture and said no, and it gave Wednesday that moment to feel like she really did do something wrong. That moment in the dorm talking to Enid is her own personal moment where she realized she did things wrong, even if she didn't fully understand what. Which makes sense because, you know, teenager. I want to see that taken further in season 2, and I want to see more people call her out and help her grow. Preferably with Xavier tossed into an oubliette somewhere and left forgotten.
Overall I loved the series and I've watched it multiple times already, and I'm excited for Season 2 (so long as they keep the same writers). It definitely had its flaws, but the flaws are things I can either overlook or accept, and they aren't so many that they ruin the show. ...But I would not be mad if they magically brought Weems back from the dead, I WOULD NOT CARE.
What if nobody is dead and they're all magic? Lol
16:24 this killed me 😭😭
22:46 look at how Wednesday and Enid are apart at first, but then Wednesday glues herself to Enid.
I feel like Tyler yes he knew the whole time but I feel he was actually starting to have feelings for Wednesday a little. I mean thorn hill could’ve also made him say what’s it like to lose but sadly I doubt that
Bit of a random one but One Day at a Time, and She Ra
I actually kinda wanna see you guys reacting to the animated version of The Addams family
The guy that burned a bunch of witches that hates magic........used shady magic.
I was surprised as you were with the actor choices until I saw a video that they based the on the original drawing back in the 1960 something when The Addams Family was just a comic book with no names. I enjoy your reaction and yes I would watch you guy see the movies 🎥
Stella is so beautiful. I mean yall are beautiful people, but Stella's facial expressions are just the goddamned best.
Weakest episode? With Enid wolfing out and the hug?!!
What bothered me was how Wednesday was shown to be this brilliant girl and yet, she deduced everything wrong. If not for her vision, she would have Xavier jailed for crimes he never committed, dating a serial killer, and also be dead in hands of Thornhill.
I found the last ep very rushed. They could have extended 2 more eps and ended more elaborately!!
How would that person already know her number? It was a brand new phone (at least, I think it was??) so nobody except Xavier should know it. And it was definitely someone at the school because otherwise how did they get in to take the photos of her playing the cello? Also, kind of dumb of them to transport a known Hyde in a way that makes it a bit easy for him to escape - the very least they should have done is anaethetise him so he wasn't even awake for the journey ... and maybe use some thicker chain or solid metal restraints??
there is a version of the adams family idk if it is the one with christina or a cartoon version. but there wendsday actually fall in love with a gargoyle but he is victim of a curse and a good person and is forced to transform so it is kinda the same as the hyde. ii think maybe the gargoyle was stone during the day and only awake at night.
i think they took that story and made it into this serie. except tylor isn´t evil. so when i saw this at first i knew it was tylor but i thought he didn´t knew and was a good person and really love wendsday so him being bad too was a twist
i dont think Wednesday here is as smart and Adams-like as the Wednesday in the 'Addams Family' series. and she literally hates her family, specifically her mum, which is so different. she's actually a horrible person.
also, what if Weems is the real master of the hyde? :3 what if she didnt die and was impersonating someone else since Tyler still turned into the hyde at the end?
React to either Locke and key or Alice in borderland both very good shows!!!!!
I don't know if they watch other language films but I'm surprised they haven't seen the big blockbuster movie RRR. Would be great to get a video soon with them watching it.
Oh, and I really like the Catherine as Mortitia, because I have seen them all and I am the biggest fan of Angelica Houston as Mortitia. She was IT lol. But, yeah, no, I didn't care for the others beyond Fester and Thing. Yes, protect Enid and Eugene hahaha, sweeties forever. Um, the 2019 animated Addams movie, there was another one I just saw last week actually it's another animated one. It was ok, but too all over the place, but still not the most terrible thing you'd ever see. ☺
With regards to the latest cartoon versions, I agree they're not completely awful BUT the only person that even remotely embodies their character is Chloe Grace Moretz as Wednesday. Charlize Theron is definitely not Morticia and never could be.
Not sure why you're so surprised at Wednesday being ready to torture Tyler.. this is classic Wednesday?!
I am certain that Tyler doesn't know about his Hyde side. At the police station, you can see how he switches to his Hyde to gloat and when he swirches back to Tyler, he is full of concern and confused and his pupils constrict back to normal.
I love Tyler and loved him more when he became a villain like I’m down to clown with him haha 😊
I don't think it was a vendetta, I think it was just hate to the outcast
I was sad Weems died too but maybe she couldn't do the second season? Or maybe they have a plan for season 2? Not sure.
There’s a bunch of people that ship Enid and Wednesday, including Jenna Ortega
The writing left A LOT to be desired. That battle, the ending, just not great. The whole season was simple entertainment, no way near groundbreaking, just pure teenage fluff like an amateur teen novel.
And totally on board with you on Wednesdays exhausting monologues, and her incorrect assumptions. I just kept rolling my eyes lol I mean the whole thing was hilarious. Wednesday said in the beginning she refused to be a pawn in someone else’s corrupt game; and yet by remaining at the school to play the egotistical unlicensed detective, she became exactly what she said she wouldn’t do. She became someone’s pawn. LoL! Jokes on her. AND she was wrong to boot. For a detective writer, she sure didn’t understand the basic concept on keeping your friends close and your enemies closer when investigating.
But that hug at the end with Enid was awesome. I love the FRIENDSHIP angle between those two. Truly hope they develop her character more next season. No fluff, and no triangles.
Question. If Xavier gave her a new phone how did the stalker get the number? Wouldn't it be funny if Morticia became the new principle.
The woman at the begining with the buggy eyes killed the back-packer and she's coming back for the second season ...principal weens didn't die.. they are going to figure it out how to bring it back..don't you think the most important person in the school deserves a proper burial ??..thornhill wasn't killed..just a kicked in the head.. she's coming back for season 2
Me: *opening youtube to play some video I don't necessarily need to watch while I do other stuff on my computer*
White Noise Reacts: *Wednesday finale reaction*
Me: ... ... ... well, fuck.
I hope you guys are gonna watch stranger things s4 also some day!!
love youu alllllllllllllll
