What really tipped me off about Mrs. Thornhill was when the sheriff saw her in the coffee shop and said she looked familiar. She told him yea I’m here every morning for my matcha, but when Tyler spoke to her in the coffee shop he said her order was this super long coffee order
It was such a random and small unnecessary lie to tell, so I was like yea gotta be her and him.
I think it's the Mayor? not the sheriff.
Yeah that was the scene when I first starting suspecting Mrs. Thornhill..
Thorn hill is till alive I think Weems is too I think they have to keep the pawns alive in some shape
I noticed that too!
I first suspected her when she came in with boots so muddy, but had supposedly just been in the greenhouse. Then, when the mayor (who used to be the sherriff,) recognized her, but she told him her supposed coffee order that was totally different than what Tyler told Wednesday it was, when Wednesday introduce Thornhill to Tyler at the Rave’n.
I love Enid. Such a loyal friend. Also I‘m sorry but look at how powerful she is at her age and size, defeating a freaking hyde on her first shift with 0 experience. Now imagine how strong a fully mature and experienced werewolf is in that universe.
We’re so excited to see what Enid is up to in season 2! She really was the MVP of the season! 💜

It was a big moment for Wednesday as a character. She initially pushes Enid away but then you can almost see her tell herself fug it, we both need hug at this point.
No you were not alone. I also cried.
I'm happy to see the appreciation for Enid & Thing's relationship - I loved it too! The iconic duo we never knew we needed.
They truly had such a visceral connection even though there was really no dialogue between them! It makes us emotional and we can’t WAIT to see them back in season 2! 👋🏻
Okay, but that scene in the police station was CHILLING. Props to the actor who played Tyler because he gave off some incredible psychopath vibes with that whole "What does it feel like? To lose." villain monologue. He genuinely pulled off the whole Jekyll and Hyde thing spectacularly.
Now THAT'S how you end a season! I'm crying, y'all 😭

I do have to say - as annoying as Xavier was to me this whole season, I agreed with him in the jail cell scene. Wednesday came across as selfish and incentivize even though she was actually trying to help. This is an area where she needs to grow as the show goes on and it was written that way.

Xavier had the right to be annoyed and mad at Wednesday for not trusting him and always thinking the worst abt him.
Eugene is the Neville of Wednesday, but at least he didn't have to wait 7 years to show how badass he is! Also, one thing I learned from Squid Game, if I didn't see them die onscreen, I don't trust it.. LOL

How can they go to the trouble of casting an icon, creating costume, hair and makeup perfection and then she's just GONE?
NO girl no.
It's tragic when you realise that Hyde's are literally slaves to their Masters. In the first Episode it seems Tyler wanted to leave the town, to go with Wednesday but we don't really know why he wants to leave town.
But it's clear now that he wanted to escape his Master but he wasn't able too, because he can't. The more he became Hyde he slowly liked and enjoyed it. I wonder what would have happened if Tyler managed to escape with Wednesday.
There's a very very very subtle scene... can't remember the episode..could be the cello scene actually from ep 1.. were basically if you look close enough the entire scene is foreshadowing events...its so subtle and masterful but during the scene you can see tyler submerged in a bath letting out an almighty scream.... its very quick... and seems innocent enough but later... it takes on a more potent significance...
@@martinmillar7137 it's the wind down of episode 3, and the scene is not that subtle. I saw a clip where Hunter even fought against it. if you listen to the voice over its talking about how the sherrif thinks the monsters are only at the school, but monsters are everywhere - all the while being focused on Tyler.
Now, it is a fairly quick scene, and the music (Nothing Else Matters plays here) does draw some attention away but I find it anything but subtle.
The most shocking part was when she tortured him. When she held that hammer above him and started to swing it I literally nearly passed out.

That was such a Glinda and Elphaba moment when Enid told Wednesday, "I learned so much from you ".
That one final hug from Enid and Wednesday had more chemestry than the entire male cast with her.

No sure I'd word it like that at all.... it was a beautiful scene but not cause eenid is female... it was beautiful because Wedensday finally showed some emotional attachment... yer way off with you're assesment and kinda feel you may be out of touch with reality...

I really loved Weems as a character. Yes she was kind of annoying and her purpose in the story was to be a red herring and obstacle for Wednesday, but everything she did made sense for her character. She truly loved the school and all of her actions were in service to Nevermore and preventing it from behind closed down.
When Enid ran to her and grabbed her and hugged her tightly, I started crying. When they pulled apart and WEDNESDAY went in for the hug, I *sobbed*. Still cried watching you two watching it.
Season has been defined by cello... dance and wolfing out... everything in between brings all those key moments together... superb.
Wednesday literally needed all the people that seemed like obstacles during the season to prevail. And they all played roles that made sense for their previous involvement in the story AND Wednesday acknowledged it. That arc was amazing.
Every character had such a huge arc and the plots were paid off so nicely. So many parallels and set up for next season- we can’t wait!!! It truly went by too fast 😭🖤

Wednesday really needs someone with a backbone, that’s why I never really liked Tyler for her. Even before I suspected him.

She helped get him arrested and now that she realizes she was wrong, instead of offering some sort of apology first she has the AUDACITY to ask Xavier for his help without thinking about his feelings. Ik you love Wednesday but you gotta admit she's really selfish and Xavier has every right to not wanna help her when she falsely accused him and is basically the reason he's in jail.

I love that Crackstone has the same weakness as EVERY OTHER LIVING THING. Heart-stabbing. I'm really not sure why she thought an undead zombie with low-level magic would be able to get rid of all Outcasts.

I actually really like Xavier even though I’m not usually a fan of the brooding, loner type (admittedly though I think the actor is a cutie 🤭). Xavier had every right to say what he said in the cell. He had every right to be pissed at her. She ruined his life, she got him locked up in chains. When he had been there for her and saved her life. All she did was accused him of murder.

I disagree, I think they love each other deeply but I see that love that I have for my sister and my best friend. I didn’t see romantic chemistry between the two, I saw more of that in Bianca and Wednesday.

I just love that Enid actually has scars from the fight. IDK it always bothered me when characters get serious injuries (Especially on the face) but never have scars

I binge watched the whole series a couple of days ago .Its terrific! And thanks to Burton he kept this a comic tragedy , otherwise the way romance was blooming in Jericho town fk..I was suffocating with romance..But last episode didn't disappoint me! Murder, mayhem and Tyler being the monster! Wanna see some more blood and bones in season 2..☠🖤

My biggest disappointment at the end of this season was Weems getting killed off, because I love Gwendoline Christine so much 😭😭😭 Most of the reason I stuck it out with Game of Thrones was because of her character! It would have been great to see Weems and Wednesday repair their relationship and Weems take on a new perspective/stop bowing down to the normies of Jericho. 🙁 Still can't wait for season 2!

something about Tyler is in the police station scene he's either an excellent actor or has two different personalities. mainly because he seemed to genuinely like Wednesday on a romantic level.

I agree. I believe he genuinely does like her. He does have a bit of a personality split. (Watch the beginning of ep 8 where his dad is listening to Kinbott's tapes) But I think the way he told it to Wednesday is true too. He grew to like it as well, like an addict. He only had a couple of kills at the beginning when he met her. Also, Hydes become more uncontrolable over time as well, eventually killing their masters, and then who knows? Again mirroring addiction.
But at the same time, just because you are manipulating someone does not mean you can't or don't like them (romantically speaking).

Did they ever explain how Crackstone somehow got sorcery? I really don't remember them fleshing that out at all. Also wasn't he like against witches and spells? Where did he get that staff from!
He was probably projecting to hide his sorcery- hopefully they go into that or clear his story up- but honestly his face is so scary maybe he can stay away LmAo 🤣

The second best thing to watching this show was reliving it with you two. Excellent predictions, thoughtful critique, and of course hilarious commentary. I laughed every episode. Also, I agree that Gwendolyn Christie needs to be back for Season 2. It hurts to lose her. Question though- who do you think the stalker is?
I just had a terrible thought about this! Xavier literally just gave Wednesday that phone; no one even knew she had it but him. What if it's him and he's texting her through an anonymous number?! I hope and pray I'm reading too much into it, because now I want to throw up lol

When Wednesday fighting with Xavier, she is nearly tearing, but she can’t express it, because she’s not sure if he is Hyde or not. She also thrilled when she saw his drawing with her cello. When Tyler angry because she not asking him for the dance, she didn’t mind his feeling. She didn’t show any interest in Tyler or Xavier, she doubted both of them. I feel like she didn’t want to kiss Tyler, it’s just a try to test if she will have a vision when she kiss him. And she tell Xavier in the cell like she knows that Tyler was the Hyde. She didn’t care of that kiss, so somehow I feel like Wednesday is having a trust on Xavier but she doesn’t want to make it too obvious. She is playing around with him simping her😂. She is even know that he has interest on her😂, she KNOWS.
Sounds like a hopefully Xavier Stan. Snap out of it. She did not like Xavier in the first season and the painting of her was downright creepy. In the real world if someone drew you over and over that you didn’t like you would find it creepy and stalkerish.

Well most important thing to remember is that Enid and Wednesday were roommates. And the actors ship them.
