gotta say we need a balance patch to bring some old legendaries back into being usefull (maybe rework some resonances). i feel that this onslaught of new espers that need to be r6 to be useful in pvp its "good for whales" but make players that had build and aquire older espers feel like they are regresing instead of progresing in a way. i was watching some old pvp videos and its kinda impresive how far hyde has fallen (and the fact that momo is him but does not need to build hades and avatara and just needs 10 stacks its kinda insulting). i even think that anna is falling off a if she is not with chu yao lately.
Donar (post-reworked) / Sally (r6) / JYY / Triki are the only day-one espers that still standing on META, while the rest just fading out and disappear..
Absolutely. I feel like back when Abigail and Gaius were released, they were useful for the longest time. Now I got Ikki, finally can beat Anna teams, which was great at the start but now he's already losing to Feng Xun teams. By the time it took me to take my own Feng Xun to R2, now he's losing to Chu Ya's. So yay, that fun lasted for like a month, I can't keep up.
@@sicklullabies man i usted Abigail to get to.master on warm up on 3 seasons at r0. I really miss resonance being a bonus and not mandatory. She also was an esper that back in the day was a Game changer having her now is a "whatever" and her resonance being Bad day one did not help her stand the test of time
@@sicklullabies Abi Rework when? Her Div sucks, her r2 makes her weak to Triki, her r4 makes her weaker to Yalina, her r6 just... doesn't do much of anything.

It’s actually 50% chance of -20% AP. So it’s unfortunately not really worth the investment. She’s definitely among the many espers who could use a buff.
aw too bad not all legendaries are included (tbf that would make this video go on for hours lol). wanted to see if r6 elliot was worth it over r6 clara since her r6 isn't that amazing and i have them both r4 with 20 loyalty chests for their ripples

May I ask why Gaius is risky? I was considering leveling it up. I have r1 right now, and planning to r2 him soon. Is even r2 worth it?

Theres really no benefit in increasing his resonance.
his resonance beyond r2 are not that much worth anymore (besides stats) and leora does what he is good at better without consuming more turns on your scores. if there is contnet that does not count turn count he can be good bat as has been said there some dps that have greater dps tresholds now.
I'm not in the Top 10%, but I still use Gaius a lot. He's my go to counter Anna. Not sure if you need R6 but it certainly helps with scores.
@@TheBrooch hes only an anna counter when you literally have killed every other espers on the enemy team. And he is only useable on pvp if hes already at high reso. The video is about prioritizing resonances. You can equally say that all espers are good when theyre high reso but not all of them needs to be prioritized. I got zeus r4 not because i used my wish but because its what the game gave me
