Sorry to sound like I'm explaining it too much, But Vars AI isn't very well received in conversation for a while, and this sponsor in the footage has clearly shown to already be stealing artwork.

Genshin Impact was one of the most groundbreaking games of it's time... And then it refused to evolve further. EDIT: Don't you people ever run out of opinions?
@@blaze8308 "because it's a gacha game" is probably the wrong reason. It's just that Hoyoverse refused to make it evolve. Mihoyo, at this point, is doing what other big companies do: not listening to their player base. And as you said, implementing the features that the GI players want to their other game, which is idiotic imo.
People really downplay how huge underwater exploration actually is for a game like this from a technical perspective, and to make it on mobile no less, with minimal lag, and very few instances of bugs, while avoiding many of the core issues with underwater exploration in games as a whole. Yes it did evolve, but it didn't evolve the way you wanted it. But outright dismissing that achievement is being dishonest.
@@toxicfx_nuhaad9175 Considering how hating Genshin is a trend now. Most people will outright disregard it’s accomplishments. Genshin is still a technical masterpiece for mobile. But sadly people completely disregard it’s quality and accomplishments in favor of rewards of other gacha games.
Exactly what I'm saying, we have this conversation every region and nothing happened, at this point people should just let it go, Genshin is not leaving it's spot anytime soon and it's useless to make a fuss about it.
x.0, x.1, x.2: wait wait wait guys Genshin is actually pretty good? x.3, x.4, x.5: genshin is stagnating, what went wrong, why genshin fell off x.6, x.7, x.8: genshin is going to die, next region is their last chance
You can’t keep saying “this is Genshin’s LAST CHANCE” every region. Genshin is too big to fail. It’s not going anywhere. The only thing that can kill it is if Hoyo stopped updating it, which they won’t.
It will never be Genshin's last chance After the recent aniversary fiasco and the sales that followed it, there is NO HOPE of any pressure on hoyoverse. They're set for life. Forever profitable until the very end.
honestly feels like this is the case. lantern rite drama this year was fucking crazy and nothing came out of it. I find it hard that there could be even more severe backlash that would make them get up off their feet, but then again I wouldn't put it past genshin players lol.
@@Vahneris "Only westerners"? Are you living under a rock? xD And "westerners" is not a minority by the way, it's a large part of Genshin's playerbase. Maybe not a majority if we're talking about purely revenue/player numbers, but it's still a majority in other senses.
Vars my mom listens to your videos because she finds your voice relaxing even though she knows nothing about genshin and barely any English I thought you had to know this
Based mum, listening to what she likes even if she doesn't get it fully. Like English speakers listening to any of Japanese songs with an upbeat tone but the lyrics are quite dark. I realize that the analogy was somewhat lost, I just mean good for her fr
Well that's a dramatic title. I get the point and somewhat agree with it in that Genshin has more pressure to innovate and add QoL updates than before, but the way this video phrases it sounds like it's on death's door when that's obviously not the case. Genshin losing relevance is very relative considering the heights it started at. It's simply not possible to maintain those kinds of heights. That doesn't mean you can't criticize outdated aspects of Genshin, but I think it's good to have a little more perspective.
@@destinycoordinator77 I think this is just another vars L take recently whilst yes some points are true and positive some are just massive L's and it's just come on man what happened
I think thats the big problem for day one players. I started at 4.2 phase 2 so my view maybe not legit. But day one player like Vars is love the game too much & hope Hoyo can always keep up with them so day one player always on same feel when they start play. But IMO thats impossible. Because being tired/bored of something is unavoidable. Also you cant hope still get same feels like day one to something who already last for 4 years. Thats what i feel about day one player or whoever play GI long enough. They want Hoyo to keep up their hope & hype about the game. But when Hoyo didnt fullfill their hype they didnt want to quit either. That ended they being so noisy on fandom about Hoyo should do this & that otherwise they will lose their players. Yes i agree Hoyo didnt do much about that but on same the old players need to realise & accept if they are tired play GI. Moreover the situation nowadays is very different from when GI first day release. Back then GI is the innovation on this genre so thats why the hype is so big. But nowadays we can find other game who have same concept like GI. So yeah i understand old player being tired/bored play with same pattern. But if they cant hold that then please retired/quit the game. Or play another game.

@@beestek.94 the internet believes all sports games are trash no one will buy hogwarts legacy . Everyone says everyone hates Ubisoft, ea take two , yet every year their games are top ten sales
@@TheNrat I mean, all sport games are trash tho. It's basically a reskin of any other sports games. And if the vast majority of the internet says it's bad, then, isn't that make it objectively bad? Idk about Hogwarts Legacy though, since from where I'm at, lots of people are very excited when it was first announced. Isn't it kinda true that half of the gaming community hates Ubisoft? It's just that they made good games in the past that people a lot of people are still hoping they make good games again? And just because they rack up money doesn't mean their games are technically good. They're loyal fanbase are just that massive.
Yeah, but unlike other games, they are very dependant on character's sale that enticing arrival by newbie delving deeply into Genshin to be able make bucks consistently.
Honestly, I only know about the discourse secondhand from RUclips videos. If they didn't cover it, I would never know any of the discourse existed. People like me and those even more casual really just play and enjoy the game in their free time. Natlan is definitely not Genshin's last chance.
the thing is, i think genshin HAS improved in a lot of respects. the character models have continuously gotten better throughout the years. someone pointed out subtle differences in nilou's og outfit vs her skin that show how they're making the highlights in her hair and eyes better, and looking at the fontaine cast vs the mond cast, you can see how much their models improved. the exploration has gotten way better, and i think they learned from the sumeru desert, cuz in the 4.x patches less exploration was locked behind lengthy world quests. the writing has improved significantly, the archon quests have been amazing since sumeru, and i think all of the 4.x story quests were pretty good and none of them solely focused on a random npc rather than the character at hand. they've also finally been giving good qol updates. hopefully, natlan will be the nation where they finally start to add things to the combat system and give players who are really into that smth to work towards. better anniversary and lantern rite rewards would be nice too...
Imo the only lengthy quest in sumeru that locks a large portion of the map is the aranara quest. Rest are effectively the same length as fontaine wq. Though aranara wq is still the longest chain by a mile
They improved, but never to the way that the players want. Like, a lot of QoL features that players want, some of them are never implemented. What's worse is that Hoyoverse decided to implement those feedbacks and suggestions to their other games 😂
Yet there's no skip button after 4 years I don't care about story or writing The best Gacha story is a 5/10 and genshin is nowhere near that even in its wildest dreams I don't care how much they improve the writing Just give a skip button at least give it for side quests and character story quests
Vars, my man, I love your content, but even I have to admit this video… sucks. You keep repeating the same points over and over again, while providing little to no evidence or statistics. What would’ve been great is if, when you mentioned a drop in player retention, you present a graph or something showing plummeting earnings, or if you point out the drop in viewership in content related to Genshin. Honestly, I would have no problem if this is just a one-off thing, but I’ve been noticing that your more recent videos have had the same issue: Repeating points and little to no evidence. Also, I feel like your scripts have a lot of fluff. Sentences are dragged out and over complicated with long words/phrases that make the overall point more clunky. It reminds me of students who uses complicated vocabulary to hide their otherwise superficial, flat contention. Again, I love your content, man; this is in no ways hate. I’m just concerned that you’re reducing yourself to a content farm is all.
Inb4 the "snezhnaya is genshin's last chance" video atp bc this video was just a slog of moot points to watch 😭 and I actually enjoy vars' content as well
First time? Vars' Genshin content have had several misses here and there. Even his League content are mostly based on feelscraft than objective, factual statement. He proposes balance ideas and changes in places that are often unneeded, mentions names have been balanced and puts a spin on them and creates a problem outta it. Nothing new.
Genshin's monthly active player has risen to about 65mil since Nov 2022 (also when I started) and the number hasn't moved significantly since then. Will it start falling eventually? Probably, but we are not there yet. Edit: we are also at the end of version 4, which is usually when the popularity drops off a bit. It will bump up again when 5.0 starts, albeit not significant enought to change the whole trend. This is also why Hoyo released ZZZ off-peak as well.
There is a high chance the game will only start to fail when the main story is complete. As it stands there is a lot of casual players who aren't here for the meta or are serious gamers and just join for the fun story. If the story ends then they will be satisfied and moved on but beyond that...yeah it's unlikely
not to mention that you could cut that number in half 3 times and the game would still be a financial success for them so this is all largely a moot point
@@rushalias8511 and would hoyoverse care? Not really. They probably would release a sequel or another game by then. Genshin by itself is a pure casual game imo
@@rushalias8511 I highly dount that. They are absolutely aware of that a lot of people will drop off when this story will end so I 1000% guarantee you that they will make some crazy cliff-hangers at the end of the story so that you will wait for the next chapters and then make you stay longer. Tho I myself will drop the game because I only hold on to the Traveller story, because no other content in the game excite me anymore. Combat is basically the same since dendro, difficulty the same, exploration the same, story progression is the same (x.1, x.2, x.3 patches are story patches, then x.6 has a Dainsleif quest and that's all for a whole year), character become more and more repetative and alike (Clorinde is basically just upgraded Keqing, Chiori is basically off field geo keqing/upgraded Albedo, Arleccino is just upgraded and more easy to play Hu Tao and so on), exploration is basically the same (underwater exploration was a bit of fresh air but after 4.4 there will be never majoer underwater exploration. Imagine if they went back and added some underwater exploration to older regions, obviously not everywhere), companion quests don't hit the same, mini games and events overall suck, the game doesn't receive any major progression updates since dendro. No 100 and beyond levels, no new difficulty levels for bosses and overworld, no new ascension passives for older and newer characters (imagine getting an ascension passive for some Qiqi like increases frozen duration, increases cryo damage and increases cryo character ER?), no new elements for at least 2 more years, maybe more or newer, no new weapon types, no new character models, no new elemental reactions and many many other things that haven't been changed either since 1.0.
It's already falling slowly. We haven't seen anywhere below 64mil for half a year, now the biggest "spike" downwards reached 59mil already. Highest peaks haven't been back at the 65-66mil range in a while either. The trend is downwards, but very slow for now. "for now" being the keyword. Azur Promilia might become a more direct competition that Wuthering...and Wuthering has a dead patch right now too, it'll take away players again once they add more new areas.
I'm sorry but i will have to disagree with you. version 4 was by far the BEST version of genshin impact we've ever seen. The characters were all amazing, the amount of QOL updates made the game 10x more bearable to play everyday, the archon quest was so fucking good, i cried during focalor's death (the first time i've ever cried in a game like genshin since final lesson), fontaine is an amazing region to explore. Genshin is not going ANYWHERE, even with the drama about natlan's characters skin, this will be all forgotten and the game will still thrive, so no, natlan is not genshin impact's last chance, natlan is yet another success, even if it didn't launch yet.
It's their last chance to rebuild the hype, since the playerbase has been decreasing pretty fast lately, just like the revenue, just like popular sentiment, there's a reason Genshin is not nominated this year

We are not falling anytime soon and Natlan is gonna as good if not better. There is no last chance here, this is keeping going forward.
Every new region has been Genshin’s last chance, and so far they succeeded every time. Despite Cai Haoyu being a greedy PoS I hope Genshin improves for the better of the players, not for the monetary gains
It never was as bad as it is today. And Fontaine wasn’t a last chance it was a new peak for some time It got so much worse. And with HSR and WUWA being out, the flaws of the game are even more apparent
genshin will always be successful but the case is that the quality's just been "enough" to keep the playerbase and tons of them are casual players who aren't asking for more. The reason people quit is that they expected more and not just hollow same old updates
For me personally I would disagree. Not that Fontaine start was bad. Nah, it was the strongest start. But after 4.2 it nosedives. I gave up immediately after the Knave came out. Even her stuff was neat, but overall still boring. The other gatcha’s these days are more fun day to day.
You should be embarrassed to have accepted a sponsor that includes ai voices. Many of the genshin voices actors have said that they do not approve of their voices being used for ai voice acting or covers
i mean to be honest, it depends on when you factor in the elements: -Inazuma was a `last chance` because they made enemies ridiculously unbalanced to the point they had to actually post nerf the crap out of them. -Sumeru was a `last chance` because they had to introduce an entirely new element in order to `freshen things up` while also shifting things up with a much larger map (which im sure many would agree was too fking beeg in a number of ways). -Fontaine was a `last chance` because not only did it not have the golden ticket of an entirely new element like Sumeru did to give an easy way to include new characters, they also had to come up with an entirely new gimmick to make the characters stand out, which they did by pulling not only traversal and power creep but also gimmick creep with the something and something gimmick to stun enemies which i guess most stopped caring much on when they can just blow stuff up instead, since making it any mandatory as honkai impact 3rd`s enemy types past the 3rd one aka Quantum, Imaginary and then thar stupid stardust one, would piss off loads of players especially to keep the `casual` audience around. -Now Nathlan has to actually bring something DIFFERENT to the table because: +It wants to include some night spirit crap but since Fontaine and Sumeru did that already, this means its more stupid gimmick creep while also making any new artifact sets have to focus on them and thus make over 95% of the character base LOCKED OUT of DLC known as `artifacts`, so if they make any additional artifact sets during nathlan they have to either give up on night spirit or keep alienating most of the characters. +It wants to include some transformation gimmick into saurians but since they decided to make ALL THREE DAMN CHARACTERS right from the get-go get exploration gimmicks, that implies ALL the nathlan units will get exploration or ease of something mechanics, which in turn flips off why the fk would you transform into Saurians if the only reason to use them is traversal gimmicks or one-time chests you will likely wrap up and forget about the saurian forms entirely. +And since Hydro traveler was such a crazy, they decided to do something stupid and DELAY Pyro traveler which is a rather bad idea since Pyro traveler is suppose to be the preview for the Archon, but since they are supposedly doing two pyro archons, and potentially one rather soon`ish after nathlan`s release, thats gonna piss people off if Pyro traveler doesnt get a budget gimmick, likely traversal QoL benefits which if its simply lobbing a fireball and making a small eruption that continuously applies pyro reaction and thats about it....yeah, all the traveler mains who still stuck around after hydro traveler are likely gonna PTSD on outta the game. Moral of the freaking story: Its the same song and dance crap again with the next nation, likely over half the cast is gonna get forgotten, all units from previous nations will be severely `blunted` in value cause of some gimmick to cluck them over and they purposely try to sneak in nerfs on other units to get people to spend alot of money once more for characters to just get nerf next year to make the next region`s units who got a brand new gimmick mechanic look more valuable.
If there was any bad timing to make this sort of video on, it would probably be Natlan's release. - Massive QoL updates in recent patches (Encounter Points, both technical and aesthetic UI enhancements) - New forms of permanent content (Yes Imaginarium Theater was not received that positively in terms on endgame, but they are working to improve it. Whether or not it will succeed will be up to time.) There's more to come in Natlan, if recent leaks are to be believed. Stuff like ***Spoilers for leaked story content*** changing up the story formula (No Pyro traveler? We're getting an Archon seat?), Self-modeling resin but we can choose 2 substats, bigger buffs in Imaginarium Theater. Yes I agree that Genshin has way more to improve on for a game of its popularity and income level. More challenging endgame, events and co-op content, as well as replayable events are always welcome. But it's definitely evolving still.
1 step forward, 2 steps backward. imagine a game that’s 4 years and we still don’t have saveable artifact custom loadouts and skip buttons. they can’t even increase the condensed resin cap. HSR did way better changes in less than a year. WuWa did way better changes in less than 3 months. genshin - for a game of 4 years, i expect more significant changes by now. just getting 200 resin now and Imaginarium Theater should have been given to players YEARS AGO. does it really need 4 years to implement an extra 40 resin? HSR introduced self-modeling resin in less than year, fyi. WuWa has so much more endgame during its launch. genshin just introducing self-modeling resin now and new endgame (after 4 years) isn’t really impressive. but as what every genshin stan would say, “better than nothing.” better to get 3 extra wishes than nothing. better to eat moldy bread than not eat bread at all, am i right? genshin is “improving” slower than a turtle with broken legs. maybe we will soon get saveable custom artifact loadouts in 2045. hooray for genshin. it’s evolving really good.
@@francescoettwedda-1875 After finally starting to play WuWa myself now I can only say: WuWa is sooo much better than people give it credit for. Especially now after most of its launch mistakes & failures have been overcome. Most people who still say it's bad are just hating on it, repeating what others say online without even trying it themselves, I guarantee it. If you tried it yourself and still say it's bad, that's fair and surely it's not for everybody, but it's also a fact that WuWa already improved on more things in 3 months than Genshin did in 4 years and that is telling. With Wuwa they're eager to improve on things, while Genshin keeps on stagnating, because Hoyo apparently can't be bothered to listen to player feedback for once in 4 years... it always has to be a huge outrage that angers the CN community for them to finally listen to feedback in Genshin for once like with the recent reverting of Neuv's spin2win fix. Even within Hoyo themselves they show how much better things can be handled when you look at HSR or now ZZZ for example. Genshin isn't in anywhere near the same dire situation. WuWa is definitely the first functioning competition that Genshin's had but it's way too early to declare that WuWa is going to end Genshin.
I dislike killer narratives anyways, just like with wow and ff14, genshin is just dying because of itself while wuwa chills and succeeds by doing "not terrible"
Video Idea: The Complete Failure of the Unknown God Edit: I’m gonna rant. We are nearly 4 years into Genshin’s Lifespan and we haven’t The Unknown God AT ALL. Fast Forward a few year laters and she’s hasn’t shown up. Every time Aether and Lumine meet or interact, they don’t comment or talk about The Unknown God, as if Hoyo just retconned her out of the game or just made her to kick off the plot and then threw her away like she never existed.
Paimon is the unknown god : oh my god such an insane twist no on saw that coming 🤪 Paimon isn't the god: wtf was the point then This is what it feels like
I'm a fairly casual player (with very little free time) and so I genuinely prefer genshin to star rail. I downloaded star rail on release due to the hype and had a very good time with it's story but unfortunately the combat was boring (to me) and not my focus while playing the game. Then they add a bazillion different combat game modes when I can't even find the time to do SU some weeks. So what happens is I struggle to keep up -> earn less jades than the average player -> can't get characters I want -> become even less motivated to play
im like the opposite where i don't have enough time to play Genshin every day while Star Rail's daily system is really easy to operate and the devs actually care abt the players. the worst thing in Star Rail imo is just the Xianzhou story really 😭
@@enanan4since 4.8 the dailies are now equal in GI and HSR, you spend resin and complete your dailies. HSR devs only listen because they have competition, not out of the kindness of their heart. Genshin started giving a ton of QoL changes in the last few patches, and I think that’s because they saw the competition coming with wuwa mainly.
Same here. It also doesn't help that I lost 50/50 every SINGLE time. And as if it wasn't enough salt on the wound, my Seele was never fully built because I never had enough stats on my relics to meet even the baseline. Then Yomi/Acheron just had to come and absolutely outdid Seele on all fronts while half-built. By that point I knew how the meta will progress in Star Rail and refused to tolerate it further. Another personal reason to the list is the free Dr. Ratio. Unlike a huge portion of the Star Rail playerbase, I do not use any male characters other than Caelus. My Ratio is forever benched, and I would be happier getting a free Clara.
@@simonditomasso9868 it doesn't matter if it's out of the kindness of the hearts or not, the fact is that HSR is implementing what players asked for, while GI has been delaying doing that for years. Even tho genshin isn't doing nearly as bad as some people say, it doesn't look good for the developers when a game from the same company is implementing the QoL changes and better endgame that genshin players have been asking for years in its first years since release, along with better rewards I might add. Them implementing this in genshin now, after years and after HSR did it doesn't help their image. it's inevitable to compare similar games and genshin is losing in those comparisons because of how it treats it's player base. If genshin's elemental reaction gameplay wasn't so fun it would be dead by now with how slow it is with this kind of upgrades, but even that will get boring if they don't give players new ways to use these characters they have been building for 4 years. Genshin won't die, but if it doesn't improve in some big ways it WILL lose its place as the powerhouse it is today in the near future.
No hate, this video is just really terrible, imo. It’s like someone’s playing a completely different game than me. His main point is that Genshin hasn’t evolved at all in all aspects, which is… wrong? Genshin’s dailies have been shortened so much they now rival HSR and ZZZ in speed, which is what fans have been asking for. A bunch of other things have been implemented that fans are asking for in consistent patch-by-patch QoLs, and the parts of the game that you apparently don’t play at all like exploration and story (calling the 2.8 summer update “boring” and “filler” when it’s widely regarded by the community as one of the best event updates ever is really something) has been constantly and demonstrably improving in quality. They also did the “listening to players” thing recently by rolling back the Neuvillette change and addressing complaints about Imaginarium Theater. Not perfect, but it’s happening. And the terrible clickbaiting that doesn’t match with any measure of reality (or even the point of the video, which is about “maintaining market dominance”), and promoting AI chatbot slop for a sponsorship… There’s just no part of this video I enjoyed. Sorry.
Also, why is half the video runtime dedicated to filler about other gacha games or just random stuff? Is it to pad out the runtime, or did you think “other gacha games can succeed or fail, genshin is big, there are competitors” is important enough to get 5+ minutes of explanation? And why the baseless, unsubstantiated claims about player retention backed up by tweets with 40 likes? If the backlash had been as strong as you said, shouldn’t it have been easy to find viral tweets about it?
If they are indeed listening to players, neuvillette's "bug" and imaginarium theater wouldn't even exist Oh, the dailies have been shortened? Yeah it only took them about like almost 4 years. Wow that's so good Implementing qol patch by patch? Yeah also took them almost 4 years to implement something that should've been a thing since like idk, 3 years ago? Has their bug fixing speed gone up? Yeah totally, neuvillette's "bug" got fixed real quick when there are so many characters that are bugged didn't get fixed Yeah, genshin is not dying at all. But to say it evolved, what game are you playing bro? It took them almost 4 years to come up with a garbage called imaginarium theater, to implement simple qol change, it sure has evolved very fast huh?
Question. How many games have you played and how much have you played? How many points of comparison can you actually make? Because we can agree or disagree with vars, but at least we can assess that he has some level of knowledge while you are just making assumptions left and right.
You can't say they "listened to the players" when they messed up bad and were forced to fix it, we know good and well if they weren't being forced by the players to fix it they wouldn't have fixed it at all they would've just let us complain abt it, you also can't say they "listened to the players" by giving us a game mode from a different game and made it worst, sure u can say they acknowledge it but that doesn't mean they are going to do anything abt it, although I would love to see a change in genshin, it is highly unlikely unless they are forced
@@aperfectlynormalinternetus6715 that's not listening to players they were getting reported to Chinese government that was literally a nerf after a character had released and had 2 reruns. They didn't listen to players they were forced to to listen. By Chinese players who reported them to the government. If Devs actually listened we would have had all of the qol in 5.0 before archon quest of sumeru even ended.
People's interest into Genshin always get into recess between after AQ final to New Region release. Like, this has happened for 3 times now I don't understand why that's a problem.
It's the normal cycle for any game, to allow for their dev teams to have time to work for the next big update, they gave way to a 3 or maybe 4 point space, Q3 Genshin Q1 Star rail, ZZZ will fit its 2.x space evenly between them. ZZZ released on Thursday, Zhu Yuan banner started on Wednesday and ends on Tuesday, just like Genshin. HSR announced their patch will end on 30 July on Tuesday now instead of Wednesdays. They are making a game ecosystem with a new banner/patch every week on each game. Won't be surprising they're moving HSR 2.x to April and give December/January to ZZZ.

Honestly i'm just in the game to see the end of the story and i that's okay for me. But Vars is saying that something needs to be changed and i would like to know what "crazy" thing they have to do? I personaly think it's inevitable that a long running game like this is losing players. I think it will happen with every game given enough time. Because there just comes a point whereeverything "new" just comes off as a gimmick or powercreep (like HSR's "super break"). I agree that mihoyo should treat their fans better, but even if Mihoyo does start treating their customers with more respect, i feel Genshin won't have a lot of meaningful changes without losing it's integrity by blantantly powercreeping everything with every new novelty that will come. I'm interested in what everyone thinks should be implented to make the game more exciting.
I think the problem is that the game wants to be both an adventure rpg and a gacha. Losing player retention in a gacha is not too bad because when a new event or a new character comes around you are coming back, but for an adventure rpg with a big story arc things should flow from one scenario to another, and that's what imo is "killing" genshin. I don't think that a new mechanic or a new game mode would change much of this situation. What I think they should do is streamline the story, make it less dialogue and more gameplay, to create big moments like hsr's Cocolia. I think most of Genshin players would agree that Inazuma didn't have the best story, but the first fight against Raiden is one of the best and iconic moment of all genshin. That's because it blended perfectly story and gameplay to make us feel the power of the shogun. It wasn't Paimon that said "ooh, that big mommy right there sure looks strong. welp, I'm hungry...". That's also why both the absence of a big fight between sanganomyia's troops and shogun's troops feels off, or Scaramouche just gassing us and randomly waking up with one less gnosis is disappointing. this is just an example. Another would be the Ace Attorney's sections during Fontain's story. Genshin just really need to strike a balance that make us feel more in control during the story parts. That would allow to create more meaningful big moments of gameplay and story, and even during dry seasons people would think "I can't wait to see what incredible new chapter they are preparing for us" and keep the attention high, and people would keep playing to prepare gems to pool for the story characters. I'm sure that some people are content with the mostly formulaic story, but as storywriter myself, if even half the people can see where the story is going, than that's not good enough. P.s.: I appreciate that you were one of the few that prompted a civil debate instead of just announcing your opinion ad refuting anything else
The game is already fine as is for me in meta aspects. Not any day you get to see a game where even the free 4* characters at release still find their use in endgame content. Check furu's channel for proof. And I think that's the biggest reason why Genshin is loved. It doesn't make players feel wrong or obsolete for loving and building the "wrong" characters.
Ironically, Genshin isn't even losing players. It's active player base is far bigger than the "competitors" like WuWa, HSR, etc, who actually are losing players. Now, it's not growing, but at this point the playerbase is as big or slightly less compared to games like Fortnite, LoL, etc, so there's not much growth to be had unless it somehow becomes more mainstream.
From my perspective the changes would be giving a higher world level and adding an extra layer to the combat. My most favorite memory of genshin was arriving in inazuma and getting the red text of "the area ahead is dangerous". Actually being worried about the over world enemies. Now a new region is just a loot collection task, as no enemies cause even the slightest challenge. So let me raise my world level. Next would be to add more to the combat. Their could either be through a new ascension passive on a 90-100 level, or it could be a story quest opening up delusions for all characters. It would effectively allow them to rebalance all the characters, and even potentially double the number of elements. Ie make delusion electro behave differently to normal electro.
nah I fully disagree. for the past 2 patches we've seen the devs being MUCH more open and communicative to the players through their surveys (the tone is much more in-depth and curious), and the content they're putting out is still really good to sublime. HOWEVER. A lot of what Genshin is adding, is worldbuilding-, exploration- and story-focused, and NOW they're starting to do more about combat. But that's ALWAYS been the direction Genshin has had. it has never been primarily about combat. Yeah the combat system is really interesting and decently fleshed out but it was never the focus of the game. For story/lore and exploration-focused players such as myself, Genshin has been consistently satisfying. WuWa for me seems dull and unappealing because of its colour palette and HSR while pretty good in QoL things is VERY predatory in character banners and endgame is the ONLY real focus, making the constant need for more and more and powerful characters even more predatory. Genshin has a really good middle ground of everything, and with them releasing Imaginarium Theater and being more invested in our feedback and more transparant in their communication, I have a pretty good feeling about further improvements.
The unskipable dialogue could not defeat me, The sumeru desert exploration could not hold me, And you will not take away my pyro mommy I WILL WIN MY 50/50
A lot of people "drop" other/new gatcha games but still play Genshin. Also, one thing that Genshin has that no other game has been recreate is its popularity with normal people. Genshin is so massive with people who never played a gatcha game before Genshin and still don't. I woul wager that there is a very large portion of the Genshin community that has never even heard of some of these gatcha games. And like you mentioned its all because of marketing and putting it on consoles. My wife has been playing Genshin for an even longer time than me and barley knows what HSR is let alone ZZZ or WuWa. Until a gatcha game puts in as much marketing and world building as Genshin there will never be a game that comes close to its appeal and success.
Speaking of normal people, I wonder if the Genshin anime (whenever the heck that comes....) will make people play. Like when people started playing League when Arcane came out lol
as someone who came into the game on yoimiya's rerun banner in version 2.8, it's rather disheartening seeing so much cynicism towards the game since the beginning, only progressing more and more each patch it seems, as I'm slowly progressing my account to more and more exciting heights. I still have yet to beat/36* the abyss, but I'm working hard to achieve that goal before Natlan. (possibly could have done it by now if I pull for/used meta characters rather than only using the ones I liked, but characters require way too much investment to waste on ones I hate). I do understand the criticism tho, and hoyoverse should be held accountable to provide the type of content players truly want, but I feel like I'm the only one left behind still in the honeymoon phase, which feels rather isolating.
omg samee! i think its just because critisizm (especially harsh critisizm) interests people alot. im not saying its vars because id say its the same on the entire internet. its funny because when i watch stuff like this i get kinda sad but then i open up the game and its all fine and fun. infact, interacting with people in coop is so nice! (not that related to genshin but still wanted to say) i think its just that to survive we are naturally drawn to pessimism. but this doesnt translate well to art and modern humanity because it just makes us sad. its kinda the same thing with real life. if you keep watching the news and reading social media you will think the world is falling apart and existence is miserable, but you go outside and everyone's just living through life. our drive to doom combines with the want of financial gain and we reinforce ideas that make us sad. even if the idea is we should know it so we improve it, it still makes our day just a bit worse.
What is bro even yapping about? Gensin is doing perfectly fine, heck it improbed significantly in some areas. The map designs are better than ever, characters still look great, not to mention how they implement new game mechanics into their kit as well. Story has also only gotten better over time.
@@BulletSponge71436 how is it not improving, the gave an actual pity for the weapon banner, then did a lot of quality of life for artifact and character ascension. @@botondnyitrai3128 What "pity" to weapon banner? The Fate Points? You can't gamble, you still need 240 wishes for it. And if we're talking about wishes, then you must already know how stingy Genshin is with them. They did practically nothing in order to improve the Artifact experience. One of the best ways to improve it would be by adding Artifact Loadouts, not this automated garbage. Multiple layers of the map? Who asked for this? It's literally one of the smallest "QoL" improvements that they have ever made, and they added it only because of underground areas in the desert. It should've been there when the first desert area came out. You really think that people's trust can be bought with such small (and sometimes almost useless) things when the things that the players have been asking for SINCE RELEASE still haven't been added? Being a purely F2P (Forced 2 Play everyday LOL) player from the beginning, I have observed Hoyoverse competing against nobody else but themselves, and that is what made them create Genshin Impact in the first place and not something that was slightly better than the 2D cashgrab knockoffs from back in the day. I am not sure if you have noticed, but Honkai Star Rail, Genshin Impact, and Zenless Zone Zero are wildly different from each other-both for the player's convenience to ensure that they are provided with something for their varied tastes and also to ensure that they do not cannibalize the incomes from their respective videogames. You need to understand that it is very likely for some patches to be dry patches as compared to other patches that would have a more bountiful nature. This applies not only to Genshin Impact but also to the videogames coming out from the competitors. That does not make your subjective reception of a certain set of patches being "dry" or "poorly received" an "objective" fact, as you have been tirelessly trying to portray without attaching any reliable sources to the published video. Instances like you being unable to find someone not knowing about Genshin Impact might be a case of you being surrounded by Genshin Impact players, and you not liking certain patches might be attributed to the poor viewership you might have gotten on the Genshin Impact content you created at that point in time. You need to understand that the receptions are inherently subjective in nature and should be portrayed as such. Compensations and freebies provided by Gacha-themed videogames have been a great representation of how healthy the game's community is. Apart from the compensations and freebies provided by the Gacha-themed videogames during the start of the lifecycle, which are necessary to help ease the onboarding curve for new players, many videogame companies resort to providing these at a later phase of the videogame in their bid to keep their dwindling communities alive. If anything, the fact that Genshin Impact does not provide a sizeable chunk of freebies goes on to prove the point that Hoyoverse does not have to stoop low to keep their communities alive. Of course, being an F2P player, I would appreciate the freebies and compensations more, but deep down, I am kind of glad that I do not get much of those. Hoyoverse spends a lot of time and effort ensuring that their updates not only come on time but are also well tested inside out. I struggle to come across bugs in Genshin Impact even when I go looking for them to this day, when multiple Genshin Impact "killers" like Wuthering Waves shove a bunch of these bugs on my face. From me to you, I suggest you take some time off from Genshin Impact, and I know for a fact that it will definitely help you come back to the videogame refreshed like it did me. A break from the videogame would also help you understand that the divisive impressions of something new in the game mean that the status quo has changed, and now the community can provide their feedback to help improve things. Do not get me wrong. I have my own share of complaints from Genshin Impact, but I am also grateful for the changes that they have slowly started making. It is due to their listening to the community that we got a bunch of quality of life changes in the 4.x version series. I constantly make use of the version feedback surveys to let them know about the things that I have problems with and the things that I would want them to improve. Understand that grass would always look greener on the other side, but the apples-to-oranges comparison is unfair when you are comparing something that has been around for a while against something of which we have only watched the best moments from their trailers. I do not let my dissatisfaction with the videogame make me sour and reveal them as "objective facts" as you did with stating that Genshin Impact's player count has been dwindling without providing any reliable sources. A quick search on the Gacha Gaming subreddit revealed that the revenue earned by the Genshin Impact has either been at the top or has been switching places with Hoyoverse's other creation, Honkai Star Rail, throughout the last multiple quarters. The Genshin Impact's official subreddit has over 3 million members, and multiple posts are made throughout the day with people talking about, complaining about, and actively looking forward to the content. In no way does the community feel dwindling, as you stated, or that Genshin Impact is having its last chance in front of its competitors, with over 65 million players playing it at the time. I am happy to provide the sources of the information I stated above. I wish nothing but the best for you to come back to Genshin Impact refreshed! ❤
@Tokyo-z6o 80% of genshin is exploration and lore lol. I wish the game put more emphasis on combat, but as it currently is, it really isn't a game made for those who don't like exploration and lore.
Why is it so hard for some people to understand that those who sticks with Genshin likes it the way it is? Story and exploration are Genshin's focus since Day 1 and the continuously deliver on that. Thats why the main playerbase is happy, they're not just some addicts that cant quit. In fact, it's the other way around. If Genshin hasn't been for you, why are you forcing it to be what it's not? You can find a game that suits your taste better but here you are, unable to quit the game. I think you are the real addicts.
This is key. I would probably enjoy HSR more that Genshin, if Gameplay and Graphics was the only thing that mattered. However, Genshin has a story im fully invested in and wish to see it through. Unless they are in the same Universe or even the same world, I not going to stop playing Genshin in order to play HSR, or even play HSR before im done with GI.
I don’t understand the point of this video. How exactly is Genshin failing? I’m sort of new to the game, I started playing during 4.4 and to me Genshin is one of the best games ever made. What they’re doing works. Maybe it’s because I’m a newer player and got to experience all the content in my own pace, but to me it just felt like it kept getting better the more I played through the story and explored the world. I can undertand getting bored of a game after playing one for four years straight. Who wouldn’t? You could very well be burnt out from playing the game all the time.
no, you are right! they are one of the most popular games that make so much money and have a (although unstable) passionate fanbase. infact last year at the later 3.x patches we had people saying genshin will die again, yet it passed through and exploded in fontaine without problems. the same thing happened with HSR actually. just keep playing the game when you want to and its still so much fun! you get used to the dooming eventually.
I played Genshin now for more than 1 1/2 years. It's still my favorite game of all time. People are just burned out and try to make it everyone else's problem.
Each region keeps increasing the quality in terms of the world and storytelling. What do you mean? lol The title makes no sense. The game just keeps getting better.
Sumerus exploration was sooo. Boring sure here were new mechanics but there werent as many quest blocked areas so it wasnt as wondorous. Fontaine was better but at the same time not as interesting as inazuma
@@michealrosenI don't wish for genshin to die, I simply don't care. What I simply want is Wuwa to handle their fanbase or the ”i wish Genshin is dead” part better. As for identity, it's probably going to be it's own thing in the future so long as the fanbase is not being moronic.
it was the same thing for genshin having no identity at first and only being taken as "botw clone" tho, time will make it have its own identity as well
As of this week WuWa basically concide the "Genshin Killer" title. The revenue of it's new waifu banner lost to Genshin's mid rerun banner. I don't see how they can recover from that with Natlan coming up.
So Furina is "mid" now apparently? >Genshin killer schizoism Ah of course it's another mentally ill genshin fanboy. It's absolutely no wonder those 60 million are getting bullied by the hundreds of millions of other gamers lmao
With how much money genshin still makes + how much love and care hoyo still puts into hi3, I'm preeeeeetty sure genshin is gonna be fine. Not everyone is terminally online. This game gives doom-posting.
The thing is genshin stagnated way back in 2021 but it's in one of those rare situations where even though they treat their players poorly, communication with the devs is the equivalent of talking to a brick wall and even bringing the most minor change that the players want requires them to literally review bomb everything and even then it doesn't always work but the game still succeeds monetarily . I find it similar to how pretty much every Ubisoft game is hated by everyone but it still doesn't matter because they still earn millions, it's genuinely fascinating Edit:Thnx for the likes guys but oof the like to dislike ratio on the video i guess people didn't bother watching it all the way
Mostly because there no alternative and massive community. Genshin isn't just a game, it a culture. Even after the game die it will be talk about for decade to come.
About Ubisoft. Do you understand the difference between revenue and profit? If you spent 10 million on production cost when making a game (and that is without even including marketing, maintenance, energy bills, employee salary etc.) and earn 10 million in revenue how much profit did you actually generate?
@@Koscacio there is also the sunk cost fallacy, many people already invested is the game and don't want to lose their "investment". I felt this, but decided to have the resolve to stop with Genshin definitely since December/2023 and HSR is also something that I'm starting to leaving.
I'm not a Genshin stan, dropped the game shortly after 2.0, but if you say stuff like "Genshin failed to retain players because of the formulaic approach" (9:38) or "Version 4 was the most contentious version for the game to date" (9:50) then consider providing examples of this. Was there a drop in revenue (Sensortower)? Maybe some notable players/content creators leaving the game? Outrage on social media, especially on the CN side? Every point brought up here is simply a case of "Trust me bro."
And here's the crazy truth. Natlan won't change anything. It will be the same routine, the same boring quest, the same uninteresting filler events that you still can't skip through, it will be the same poorly designed characters and exploration still won't make any noticeable or enjoyable change. This is just the hard truth, the devs behind Genshin aren't the same devs behind HSR or ZZZ and we know full well they need to reinvent combat in genshin otherwise nothing will actually change.. But we're also well and truly pass the point "hope something changes" because hopping for anything from these devs is a massive waste of our fcking times. I ain't sugar coating this :/
Why can't ppl just be happy with what they get I am an AR 60 player, played almost since release I don't have every character (mostly f2p except skins) and I still love the game So much world u can so freely explore So much story u can play So many different things u can do And ppl still cry about what they don't get what's wrong with the game etc It's like ppl can't just be happy It's not even a bad game It's awesome but just because you want something different doesn't mean it has to be this way Ofc there are things to improve but do we really have to be such crybabys???
I completly agree. Genshin is a phenomenal game, and it has so much to it. But a lot of players just play for rewards and almost nothing else. And that's not how ANY Hoyo game should be played.
Once you start seeing all the flaws you begin to noticed how much there are. Then you begin to notice what other gacha companies do or even hoyo’s other dev team does and your like “hmm, why don’t we get that QoL. “ or “hmm, why don’t we get those rewards” personally I wouldn’t support dev team that thinks a way of celebrating 3 years of service 3 pulls.
For me the reason I've stuck around is because of the element combat system makes Genshin infinitely more fun to play than other gatcha games. HS, Wuwa, and ZZZ are all good games but compared to the reaction combat of Genshin their combat doesn't have that same spark. There is a certain joy I get when I coming up with teams around reactions that I don't get in other titles, its just buff the attacker in the way that they want and attack. Not saying the games bad, just that for me personally they feel like more basic versions of Genshin's combat. The writing and story telling has also just gotten better with time, and they have evolved from the early days and gotten better as a game. It also doesn't hurt that a lot of the common criticisms about artifacts, resin, skip buttons, have never bothered me because I never want to skip story in this game and I quite like the systems we have rn, its a lot of rng but that kinda the point of playing a gatcha game isnt it. Things like the new exploration point system and the resin cap increases are the changes I have wanted and so far Hoyo has been delivering.
What is bro talking about though. Fontaine has added so much, including better characters, better story, better story quests, better combat, evolution of fighting types etc. Sure, if natlan stops evolving like fontaine did, thats bad, but its unlikely it will stop. I just feel like this entire video is just you projecting due to you yourself not liking some things about the game, and want alot of views or just to project your frustrations in an unfair and idiotic way.
the only thing that really saddens me is how people forget genshin’s advantages over other gacha games. and i mean powercreeping old characters - it’s not as evident as it is in hsr, and i don’t personally feel like my time is wasted on character that can no longer clear in-game content. moreover, genshin never disappoints when it comes to storytelling - yes, it is casual game that literally allows you spend 15 mins a day in-game, but the effort put into lore is amazing. a perfect game for someone who’d rather spend less time playing and doing irl stuff, yet it gives you the opportunity to try various teams in abyss and try new gameplay, just as a sandbox. wishing genshin all the best and looking forward to natlan and snezhnaya
As someone who started playing for the exploration and stuck around for the story, there’s no way I’m quitting. If I dislike it/get bored with a patch, I might stop buying Welkins, and if I run out of gacha currency I’ll stop pulling, but I’m committed to continuing until the story is finished at this point.
The argument about that they had four years to make endgame always confuses me since, why would they be ? They made it pretty clear in the very beginning in two separate interviews that endgame is not a thing they are working on. Its not like we've been on edge this whole time waiting for one. At least I assume most people got the memo, but expecting reading compression in the gacha sphere feels like too much. IT was most certainly made in 2024, for reasons we don't know, it isn't like they have been making it bit by bit for 4 years. But I do agree that this is a turbulent time for Genshin. The game is literally surrounded by enemies both from close and from afar, Drama CC'S keep spewing nonsense about it as usual, so Natlan will indeed have to make some noise. But if Genshin has thought me something in these 4 years is that to never assume until you have seen the whole show yourself.
@@zente3003 There are cases where it makes sense, but some of them are absolutely stupid like the recent "game awards" doomposting...if those people took 3 seconds to read the criteria, they'd realise Genshin wasnt nominated because it doesnt meet the criteria anymore. The most egregious example of artificial tension so far
If your players want something and it's reasonable you give it to them For example ( and these aren't even endgame related) - stop putting the books you need for a character on rotations and make everysingle one available every single day - Skip button for story (bare minimum side quests character story quests and world quests) - More useful 4 star characters (this one might be just me) - Voiced world quests (imagine if aranara quest was voiced a lot more people would enjoy it) - More than 50 pulls per patch (this one might also be just me) - no stamina consumption outside of combat (or reduce the stamina consumption outside of combat or just increase the amount of stamina) - more resin and faster resin recharge speed also no limit to the amount of condensed resin - making the artifact grind faster - less chests with 2 primos in it or even remove every single 2 primo chest and replace them with a giant special chest that gives a shit ton of primos for finding every other chest in that map. Genshin can be the best game in the world and they just choose not to do anything.
Vars, as an ex-league player (played since 2013 and quitted after vanguard), YOU KNOW these games don't need to get better, they can even olympically fuck up and neglect their player base, but since the game has a psycological grip on the majority of the players, they won't leave, it doesn't matter, adicts will keep being adicts.
It's not necessarily that they're addicts either. A lot of genshin players are casual. Genshin could be better but it is in no way "bad" (excluding Inazuma). Casual players don't necessarily want The Best Game Ever. They want a nice game to play for a bit after work/school, and then go about their day.
@@jadecoolness101 And thats fine, I'm not saying genshin should change that core aspect for casuals, but putting a little more effort for the other part audience that maybe wants to play a little more or have more options to have fun should not be neglected. Adding something for them would be good and wouldn't disrrupt casual's experience. And for the addicts part, you know there are a lot of people that hate the game but despite that they keep login in and refusing to leave it despite their hate towards it. League is the same, no matter how much riot fucks up, people that is addict to the game will keep playing it. Its not the entire playerbase of course, I know there are a lot people that simply don't care, but those are most likely doing other stuff.
@@megalodon2831 I would like hoyo to put in more effort but the problem is.... they don't need to... The majority of the playerbase is happy with the state of the game. Hoyo is still bringing in millions. This isn't even mentioning that genshin HAS gotten better. They added a new permanent game mode (which, mind you, I have MANY complaints about). Character models have improved, the world design has improved, writing has improved. They added the artifact strong box, they added the encounter points, and then the overflow. They've altered dailies so that you have a higher chance of getting dailies that still need an achievement. Heck, they even added the ability to keep birthday mails. They raised resin cap TWICE. Genshin is not stagnant. And this video ("Natlan is genshin's LAST CHANCE") is hilariously predictable. Everytime we get to x.6-x.8 versions, there's inevitably the doomposting of "omg genshin is gonna die!"
@@jadecoolness101 I don't think Vars was implying genshin is going to die, he is not that guillable, doomposting looks 100% worst than this small rant he had, and even if it was a rant it has some legitimely criticism that many share, which and just how you said, the problem is they don't need to put more effort which is I belive is one of the many frustating things, they have the money and even their own games to take from and make things better in genshin and they just don't, or at least not fully. Now, the game is stagnated as in not improving at all is indeed not true, the game has come a fairly good way, but considering the time it has been in service and the income they have recieved in all those 4 years do feel like they could have been more. But of course then again is my opinion. As for your points yeah I have my complains there that actually are tied to the not fully implemented QoL changes. Starting with the game mode, yeah they... Kinda try something but it wasn't the best idea. Characters models I agree, but I do have my complain with certain kits, like Chiori that despite her beautiful cool design I just couldn't bring myself to pull for her. Thank god Navia is fun to play tough. The writting... I think is a 50/50, I genuinely just don't like Paimon, I defended her from the first 2 versions, but her overstep in bounds of talking from the final patches of version 2 and from 3... I just can't, granted is only in the main story WHICH I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY IN THE SECONDARY STORIES IT FEELS LESS INVASIVE but okay... Also I feel they still need improvement with their pacing, the Meropide Fort version was... Not well excecuted, but the first and third act were really good. The Strongbox need to have the relics they add so it at least help ease the farm for newer units. The resin cap was really good, despite people complaining about the rate but the point was login into the game less instead of two times just for the extra 40 resin. The daillies I still think its lacking in some aspects, but I guess its alright, it feels less tedious when there are events or areas to explore, a skip button for daily quest dialogues that you already did should be a thing in my opinion. The rest I do think its okay. Like I said, the game has had a slow improvement which is what people feel like its stagnating because the game do have the resources to improve a lot more. I know many people are happy with that and thats good for them, but I feel its really shitty to say that the people that want improve are off base and that the game is perfectly fine the way it is. Lets see how Natlan works out, I hope the characters have cool gameplay, and who knows maybe they actually start to put more effort this new versions.
@@jadecoolness101 Sure, you could argue all that, but those "better" changes weren't really that relevant, nor necessary, not to mention that they've consistently refused to implement BASIC QOL updates that shouldn't require that much effort to their end considering how they're able to implement it on their other games PROPERLY. The problem is whoever's in charge of Genshin Impact's development don't give a flying fuck. "Genshin is not stagnant", it absolutely fucking is. Its end game content isn't worth grinding for considering how stingy it is, and you can only explore for so long. Character building is tedious as fuck either, not to mention the pointless weekly schedule for material drops. There's quite literally nothing else to do but painstakingly grind the Abyss for more Primos. Oh, by the way, there's still no skip button.
Man, i cant believe you stooped so low to support AI like this. I honestly expected better of you. And the honestly horrid take, people are still going to support the game no matter what, and natlan isnt going to suddenly kill the game
With alot of games, you look at the newest version, then look at the first version and think "wow, things used to be like that? Im kinda nostalgic for when things used to be like that" Ive never felt that with genshin. Things feel so samey that i dont even notice when updates happen
Natlan is far from Genshins last chance, Genshin has been doing perfectly fine and outside of hardcore combat oriented players fans have been pretty satisfied. Hoyo will do what they have always done focus on characters, story, lore and exploration to draw people in that's what they excel at those hoping for a lot of combat stuff and endgame will likely be disappointed and will be better served elsewhere.
lore, yes. Story on the idea part yes, the execution is a hell no, that screenwriting is near atrocious to the point were i doubt its being written by an ai, 80% of the dialogues are just soulless and blatant repeating
@@Koulechov@assil555 (sorry in advance for the long comment) For a pretty long time I would have somewhat agreed even tough before Fontaine some quest really shined with a really good and engaging writing (like Venti's story quest, Raiden's second one despite it's flaws, Sumeru start and end of AQ, litteraly all the Interlude quests including the chasm and so on). But I'm sorry since Fontaine I noticed the step up in writing and execution. Fontaine's first two acts and the last one of the AQ were incredible and heck even Paimon's dialogue felt genuine this time. The story quest focus now way more on the characters (legit cried on Neuvillette one's all the themes and the tragedy were so nicely presented). The world quest also improved even tough these already set a nice level of writing. Remuria was almost cinematic with thematics being shown in a very good way. The fall on an ancient glorious civilisation, the conflict between those who want to doom the people of the surface vs those who don't with each party having their own legitimate argument... Like personnaly all of those made me feel emotions and question myself during the quest. The real problematic repetition left there is just Paimon who again improved but can get A LOT better that's for sure. And even more recently with SPOILER : the last act of Simulanka where we see Wanderer resonate with the experience and difficulties that Durin is going trough. I really feelt the growth of Wanderer who reflected on his manner of thinking as well as giving advices to overcome these obstacles. TLDR : I would have agreed but rn I disagree and that's fine tbh all of this yapping was just to show how my experience went with the writing.
@@Koulechov Genshin has a dialogue bloat issue, but their stories have been quite good for a long while now. World quests have been consistently good for years Inazuma forward has been a massive step up. Archon quests were no doubt good/meh during Mond and Liyue and outright bad in Inazuma. But since Sumeru they've been very good despite obvious flaws like how Paimon can be a bit too much for many and dialogue is still too bloated. Still I would say it's far from atrocious it's good, just flawed they definitely have room to improve.
@@makima-san752 happy for you that you liked most of it, and you had actual good takes but for my my case i absolutely hated all the new stories beside neuvillettes one (since it actually focused on him for once instead of just helping an npc or watching some filler parts of a characters life) because whatever we do it always ends well so it takes away from the "care" im supposed to fee in main and story quests, i just feel like there is zero courage in writing endings of a story as if they are afraid to hurt anyones feeling, its not "daring" to say the least

"_____ is Genshin Impact's Last Chance." It's a template at this point and a tired one, my guy. All people have done is talk shit about Genshin could never. Then Natlan was announced and suddenly everything is 'kay. Now it's 'Natlan is the last chance!' Except until the next Lantern Rite, or story patch, or Snezhnaya, etc. 5.0 is bringing artifact main AND sub-stat crafting. Betting money we won't see a "Star Rail could never!"
HSR already has main stat crafting, that's why plus leaks for 3 patches now have had substat crafting in beta servers (basically they are testing how generous to be with it). So again why are we applauding them for catching up extremely late instead of being proactive with changes. They only ever react to competitors.
what you forgot to mention is that genshin is an anime game. a lot of players care more about the anime side of the game (character design, lore, story, music) rather than the actual gameplay itself.
its not :) burnout happens if you do stuff that you feel you dont have control over, something that exhausts you by doing it, or by sheer amount of stuff you have to do that is stressing you out :) thats nothing that genshin does... genshin just does dissapoint many players thats all
I think 4.x was the most I'd taken breaks after the Archon quests and world exploration. I came back for the permanent new map expansions and lately 4.8's summer event, but other than that, I too am burnt out the monotony.
Genshin kept improving and updating things since the release. We got tons of qol updates, there are tons of new content in new areas. I still haven't even 100% Fontaine and Remuria. Underwater exploration, new endgame mode. The summer event is amazing I will never understand where's this whole rhetoric about "genshin's last chance" coming from
@@mrwhisa true They completely ignore the actual updates like new areas, new types of puzzles, more interesting mechanics. Each new region is more unique
This was „Vars last chance“ for me… and he missed. I will just play all of the games as long as I enjoy them. I stop listening to „dramatic cc“ trying to make drama. Let people just enjoy their games and maybe just leave the alone.
He literally just giving his opinion on his channel. What drama? At most it’s an exaggerated title. You should take your own advice because no one is forcing you to watch the video, lol.
i don't know if agree much with you here tbh Star Rails gameplay is practically non-existent, it's all in the preparation. where Wuwa forgoes most of the preparation, teambuilding and other things Genshin does well for difficulty of execution instead. both of these games are lacking in the things i prefer to have in my games and i still enjoy doing my dailies in Genshin sure there's other Gacha games but i'm not playing these games for the Gacha, i'm playing them cuz they're fun games.
To put the game into perspective, the active player base of Genshin is in the top 10 games in the world. Even if it somehow lost like 50% of it's active playerbase, it would still be more popular than basically every gacha/MMO out there and stay within the top 20 games in the world. So I'm not sure about this "last chance" narrative.
Genshin do not need any chances nor it need to be saved. Some people want it to become something different just because they got "bored". But stability and predictability is also a positive factor. I know it'll be Natlan with new lands to explore, new people to meet and new lore to uncover. This is exactly what i want. And next year i'll be enjoying Snezhnaya. And i do not want Genshin to transform into something else along the road.
Persoaly most of hsr end game is rpetetive, besides the divergent univese bringing you a new play style with every cycle everything else gets repetetive or old. Memory of chaos is a clasic but after doing it so much in genshin it gets stale in hsr and genshin. Pure fiction is just an a Memory of chaos where Jade is good at (RIP my queen). And the new one is the same but for hunt characters and it seems increadibly in favor of Boothil and Firefly. I love star rail to death, just like genshin but besides stimulated universe every end game mode is like the last. The only thing it does is make me more teams. Now the Imaginerium theater is far from perfect but it was fun. Maybe just me because I make a lot of meme builds but I enjoyed it. Maybe it gets repetetive but for now it seems vastly different from spiral abyss.
i agree with you as they cant plase all they just have to get the most possible but the most possible one is not in favour of whales and stuff.ps i love jade so much but sad its not efficient to use her anywhere else
I actually really enjoyed Imaginarium Theatre too. I even posted how much I enjoyed it. I also have a video of the end credits because they're so cute!! ❤❤ And then Hoyo posts how they got negative feedback regarding it etc, and I was really surprised. Like, don't get me wrong, I'm sure there were issues with it. I understood some of it afterwards, like needing lvl70 characters and above... But the issue that you can't build perfect teams??? But... that's... the point. Like the point is to build meme teams to pass and "make it work". I thought people were exaggerating. I don't want to build another perfect team. That's what Abyss is for??. That's just my opinion...
HSR is boring. Even 10 years old turn based rpg games (Summoners War) are much better as "turn based game" lol. Even more when the gameplay are locked behind 5* limited characters. Not to mention about powercreep as well Even the story are overrated as heck. Tons of technobabble and unnecessary yapping for a simple plot. To the point that I would think that Paimon is somewhat better than Penacony yapping arc.
As someone who likes exploration above all, i feel like Genshin is still without equal, even the desert was some of the most fullfilng exploration i've done, but that demands a lot of time and focus not things a lot of players have or enjoy, Genshin will likely never get the players that jumped ship back, and their strategy seems to show that
“Genshin’s last chance” 😂😂😂 July 2024 - 62.8 million players January 2024- 67 milioni players (Historical peak) This game is more popular than ever and some people really think the game is dying. Reminds me of the “nintendoom” mantra where according to people Nintendo is always one step away from bankruptcy
When you are compairing the portion of players that actually matter which are those who spend moey into the game, you can see how fast the game is losing engagement, just by the fact that a game like HSR with far less players is constantly making more money despite being a lot cheaper to maintain. Even wuwa with 10 times less palyers is starting to compete financially. Because of how big Genshin is, its also a super super expensive machine. Maintaining servers, marketing, voice actors paycheck for 65M of mostly freeloaders is not an accomplishment by itself
Those 4.2 million people aren't just random players tho some of those people are people who spend a shit ton of money on the game and are endgame players but those are just steam players who knows how many big spenders they lost elsewhere
@@ArthurShotgunthe loss has nothing to do with WuWa. It's because of the patch cycle. At the beginning of every version there are way more people than in the end
Personally I love that genshin has no endgame. Exploring, story quests and farming gear or mats without needing new power scaled units is why I prefer genshin over other gatchas.
For me I see exploration as endgame. You do the main quests sure but like...all the maps and stuff is not mandatory. You have an entire world to explore once the story is over so I see that as the end game.
I do hate that "end game" is posed as the only alternative to keeping a game interesting. Like, there are things they can do to keep the game fun without adding "challenges" that aren't necessarily fun or well-made (AKA all the hype for WuWa when that game is broken on a technical level). A good start would be some of the QoL things that have been lacking for years...
But thats a false dichotomy. If you dont care for endgame stuff that's fine you can ignore it (I dont play much of the Abyss) but to say that doesn't make sense imo. Both can exist. Farming for the sake of farming is something you can do but at that point isnt that just a waste of time if that gear isnt being put to use? Why even level up?
We're coming up on year 5, if you're still doom posting about the state of genshin I highly recommend to either drop the game or change your mindset and accept the game for what it is: A casual action rpg. Content creators are a different case because it's their job to play and talk about the game.
Genshin has been dead for 5 years. That is the problem you children don't see. It's a gacha, not a casual action rpg. You are the casual. You are new in the genre, and you don't understand genshin.
@@kageyamakatsura5205 You act like a casual gacha game can't exist. One reason the game is so popular is because its managed to grab the attention of people who have never played a gacha game before, aka casuals. Also, it sounds like the game was never for a hardcore gamer like you if you thought it was dead on release. I used to also be really upset about the game like you, but casuals were always the target audience and I accepted that a long time ago.
@@JerichoTheCity Genshin is not casual. Genshin is lacking the basic aspects to be a good gacha, aka endgame content, challenges, a long term purpose. Genshin was never for toxc casuals like you.
@@kageyamakatsura5205 If long time gacha players don't enjoy the game and casuals aren't meant to get into the game, who is the game for? I agree that it lacks those aspects, but that's one of the reasons why it attracts new players so well. It's focused on a different audience than you or I who want to sink our teeth into something more substantial. I don't really understand what you're arguing here, if it's not for casuals, hardcore players should be enjoying the game the most but they're not.
NGL... the mere fact you mentioned GBF is literally finding the needle in the haystack for content creators. Not a single person I've watched has ever mentioned GBF on anything so you get massive kudo points for that. Thank you!
I feel like this is the third time Im hearing "This is Genshin's last chance" in regards to a new region. I feel like content creators simply don't know what makes Genshin succeed xD. Good click bait tho, I guess
Natlan will do fine. Even if the game stagnates a bit, after that we have Snezhnaya, probably the most anticipated region since Inazuma. Then Celestia. There will be massive hype. I think Genshin is really too massively popular to fail. But I do wonder how Hoyoverse might react if one of their golden cash cows (either Genshin or HSR) is not top 3 anymore.
Man, you legitimiate speak from my soul. When Genshin came out I devoured it. Played it 8,9, 10 hours a day. Over the years this time shortened, of course also since I'd run out of quests pretty quickly. But I still did everything the game threw at me. Side quests, hang outs, character quests. Now I don't even do those anymore and I barely do any events or even dailies. I have barely touched the current event and I am contempalting doing my dailies right now. Now, it's worth mentioning that I have done pretty much everything in Wuwa, Starrail and ZZZ as well. However, here is the catch: I can still build characters and give them meaningful upgrades in those games. Wuwa and ZZZ are not even max account level so there is still something to look forward to. Tower of Adversity sits at 18/30 for me. Shiyu defense waits for me to get my S rank on stage 10 and then continue into the rest. Heck, even Starrails PF still is not easily 12 star-able for me. In Genshin I can almost close my eyes and completely steamroll abyss unless they have specific shields so I ask myself "what am I doing this for?". I mean sure, I could save for C6 Arlecchino but...why. Though I do not think Genshin will ever really die. It will complete the story it wants to tell and then either branch off (2 years since the anime has been released, remember that) or simply stop. But I am 100% positive no other game(s) will truly take away so many players that Genshin has to change for the better.
I think it's also quite normal, in 3 years you'll be in the same situation on HSR and in 4 you'll be in the same situation on WUWA and ZZZ, it's more than normal that after 4 years a game doesn't get you passionate about exactly the same way it did at the release (at least in terms of gamplay), but if you're still there playing I would say that the story still excites you so you can say that the game has done its job duty.

Genshin Impact was one of the most groundbreaking games of it's time... And then it refused to evolve further.
EDIT: Don't you people ever run out of opinions?
Because it’s a gacha game. Hoyo would rather add the updated/wanted features in their other games than Genshin to attract players to those games.
@@blaze8308 "because it's a gacha game" is probably the wrong reason. It's just that Hoyoverse refused to make it evolve. People really downplay how huge underwater exploration actually is for a game like this from a technical perspective, and to make it on mobile no less, with minimal lag, and very few instances of bugs, while avoiding many of the core issues with underwater exploration in games as a whole.

Or play another game.

the thing is, i think genshin HAS improved in a lot of respects. the character models have continuously gotten better throughout the years. someone pointed out subtle differences in nilou's og outfit vs her skin that show how they're making the highlights in her hair and eyes better, and looking at the fontaine cast vs the mond cast, you can see how much their models improved. the exploration has gotten way better, and i think they learned from the sumeru desert, cuz in the 4.x patches less exploration was locked behind lengthy world quests. the writing has improved significantly, the archon quests have been amazing since sumeru, and i think all of the 4.x story quests were pretty good and none of them solely focused on a random npc rather than the character at hand. they've also finally been giving good qol updates. hopefully, natlan will be the nation where they finally start to add things to the combat system and give players who are really into that smth to work towards. better anniversary and lantern rite rewards would be nice too...
Yet there's no skip button after 4 years

The best Gacha story is a 5/10 and genshin is nowhere near that even in its wildest dreams

PS it's mostly just loud westerners that are having problems with the natlantl thing tbh
Title: Natlan Is Genshin Impact's Last Chance
Snezhnaya being the last region: *Are we a joke to you?*
It's their last chance to rebuild the hype, since the playerbase has been decreasing pretty fast lately, just like the revenue, just like popular sentiment, there's a reason Genshin is not nominated this year
@@jasmineelhilali9152if you are talking about the mobile game awards it’s just not eligible. It’s for games released from Jan 2023 to June 2024 (Hence why ZZz is also missing), it has not been nominated for some years for that reason because it’s ineligible by time frame.
As an edit, no one even cared about these awards until this year (because genshin was not on it, and people did not read the criteria). As the winner is voted on by people in the industry not players.

im sorry but im so fucking tired of people saying genshin is gonna die it's not. it's reached the popularity of something like fortnite where there'll always be new people picking it up or casual people not putting it down. people scream this literally every patch and it's getting frustrating. there is no last chance. maybe for a few select people, but they've proved that even over 4 years they don't have to add much to keep players invested.
Well, this is era of stupidity and ignorance, so a game like Genshin will always sell we... Don't believe me? check Hoyolab and see what's 99% of the posts about. sex, hentai, porn references and more sexwith mentally sick kinks. What do you expect from a generation like that?
Compared to both, i had way more of a blast on Fortnite. Genshin is just too grindy, fortnite is do what you want. (Save the world)
Bro... Genshin is maybe the peak of mobile gaming rn. We may not be as popular as other years but the game is constantly getting new players or people coming back all the time. We are not falling anytime soon and Natlan is gonna as good if not better. There is no last chance here, this is keeping going forward.
Every new region has been Genshin’s last chance, and so far they succeeded every time. Despite Cai Haoyu being a greedy PoS I hope Genshin improves for the better of the players, not for the monetary gains
they financially succeeded yes. None of that financial success has been reinvested into the game to improve in relevant ways.
It never was as bad as it is today. And Fontaine wasn’t a last chance it was a new peak for some time
It got so much worse.

Wasn´t Inazuma allredy the last chance, then Sumeru, then Fontaine and now its Natlans time to be the last chance for this game
Can't wait for next year where Senzhnaya is the "last chance"
Every single year same story
If you commented about this, then it's working lol
No???
i mean to be honest, it depends on when you factor in the elements:
-Inazuma was a `last chance` because they made enemies ridiculously unbalanced to the point they had to actually post nerf the crap out of them.
-Now Nathlan has to actually bring something DIFFERENT to the table because:
+It wants to include some night spirit crap but since Fontaine and Sumeru did that already, this means its more stupid gimmick creep while also making any new artifact sets have to focus on them and thus make over 95% of the character base LOCKED OUT of DLC known as `artifacts`, so if they make any additional artifact sets during nathlan they have to either give up on night spirit or keep alienating most of the characters.
- Massive QoL updates in recent patches (Encounter Points, both technical and aesthetic UI enhancements)
- New forms of permanent content (Yes Imaginarium Theater was not received that positively in terms on endgame, but they are working to improve it. Whether or not it will succeed will be up to time.)
There's more to come in Natlan, if recent leaks are to be believed.
But it's definitely evolving still.
genshin is the cock most ex-genshin CC's cant get out of their mouths

Kinda same with me except that I lost literally every 50/50
im like the opposite where i don't have enough time to play Genshin every day while Star Rail's daily system is really easy to operate and the devs actually care abt the players. the worst thing in Star Rail imo is just the Xianzhou story really 😭

If they are indeed listening to players, neuvillette's "bug" and imaginarium theater wouldn't even exist
Oh, the dailies have been shortened? Yeah it only took them about like almost 4 years. Wow that's so good
Implementing qol patch by patch? Yeah also took them almost 4 years to implement something that should've been a thing since like idk, 3 years ago?
Has their bug fixing speed gone up? Yeah totally, neuvillette's "bug" got fixed real quick when there are so many characters that are bugged didn't get fixed
Yeah, genshin is not dying at all.

I would've liked to hear exactly what Vars think Hoyo should do for 5.0? I'm saying as someone who likes genshin the way it is now i enjoy the comfortable gameplay loop it provides.

I agree I hope genshin just keeps up this performance for the future and hope ntg like a chiori patch comes around.

Until a gatcha game puts in as much marketing and world building as Genshin there will never be a game that comes close to its appeal and success.

as someone who came into the game on yoimiya's rerun banner in version 2.8, it's rather disheartening seeing so much cynicism towards the game since the beginning, only progressing more and more each patch it seems, as I'm slowly progressing my account to more and more exciting heights. I still have yet to beat/36* the abyss, but I'm working hard to achieve that goal before Natlan.

I find it similar to how pretty much every Ubisoft game is hated by everyone but it still doesn't matter because they still earn millions, it's genuinely fascinating

Mostly because there no alternative and massive community.
Genshin isn't just a game, it a culture. Even after the game die it will be talk about for decade to come.
Hoyo does listen. Just not to the loud minority on the Internet.

@@Koscacio don't exaggerate, just say that you haven't played any other game in your life, or that you have played fairly small games before
I'm not a Genshin stan, dropped the game shortly after 2.0, but if you say stuff like "Genshin failed to retain players because of the formulaic approach" (9:38) or "Version 4 was the most contentious version for the game to date" (9:50) then consider providing examples of this. Was there a drop in revenue (Sensortower)? Maybe some notable players/content creators leaving the game? Outrage on social media, especially on the CN side? Every point brought up here is simply a case of "Trust me bro."
istg ive seen this title in like 5 videos over the last 2 years
And here's the crazy truth.
I ain't sugar coating this :/
Most of the genshin vas didn't want their voices AI-ed, they were quite vocal about it
Why can't ppl just be happy with what they get

I completly agree. Genshin is a phenomenal game, and it has so much to it. But a lot of players just play for rewards and almost nothing else. And that's not how ANY Hoyo game should be played.
It's like a drug, people have played too much genshin that they've become numb to the good things it offers
Because people want to play genshin but won't since it gets boring easily, refuse to improve timely, and ignore player's feedback most of the time.
vars try not to say "for all intents and purposes" every video challenge

I just feel like this entire video is just you projecting due to you yourself not liking some things about the game, and want alot of views or just to project your frustrations in an unfair and idiotic way.
or easier said a slave to the youtube algorithm, stirring up drama simply does lead to more engagement from their viewers.
the only thing that really saddens me is how people forget genshin’s advantages over other gacha games. and i mean powercreeping old characters - it’s not as evident as it is in hsr, and i don’t personally feel like my time is wasted on character that can no longer clear in-game content. moreover, genshin never disappoints when it comes to storytelling - yes, it is casual game that literally allows you spend 15 mins a day in-game, but the effort put into lore is amazing. a perfect game for someone who’d rather spend less time playing and doing irl stuff, yet it gives you the opportunity to try various teams in abyss and try new gameplay, just as a sandbox. wishing genshin all the best and looking forward to natlan and snezhnaya
Yeah right, this is the 3rd last chance already. Ain't no way those gambling addicts are gonna quit at this point. I can hope tho.
Thing is, wen is there not genshin drama?

- Skip button for story (bare minimum side quests character story quests and world quests)
- More useful 4 star characters (this one might be just me)
- Voiced world quests (imagine if aranara quest was voiced a lot more people would enjoy it)
- More than 50 pulls per patch (this one might also be just me)
- no stamina consumption outside of combat (or reduce the stamina consumption outside of combat or just increase the amount of stamina)
- more resin and faster resin recharge speed also no limit to the amount of condensed resin
- making the artifact grind faster
- less chests with 2 primos in it or even remove every single 2 primo chest and replace them with a giant special chest that gives a shit ton of primos for finding every other chest in that map.
It’s is in the nature of games to have their peak and have their fall. Genshin, Honkai, WuWa, Zenless, are no different.
Im kinda nostalgic for when things used to be like that"
Ive never felt that with genshin.
@@Koulechov@assil555 (sorry in advance for the long comment)
For a pretty long time I would have somewhat agreed even tough before Fontaine some quest really shined with a really good and engaging writing (like Venti's story quest, Raiden's second one despite it's flaws, Sumeru start and end of AQ, litteraly all the Interlude quests including the chasm and so on).

@SombreroGato no shit it came out 3 years after genshin when the devs already knew the players wanted that
what you forgot to mention is that genshin is an anime game. a lot of players care more about the anime side of the game (character design, lore, story, music) rather than the actual gameplay itself.

or by sheer amount of stuff you have to do that is stressing you out :) thats nothing that genshin does... genshin just does dissapoint many players thats all
I think 4.x was the most I'd taken breaks after the Archon quests and world exploration. I came back for the permanent new map expansions and lately 4.8's summer event, but other than that, I too am burnt out the monotony.
Every time a new region comes out everyone starts doomposting about "the last chance". Lol. Lmao, even.
The Genshin community sure loves their drama. "Last chance" suuuuuuuuuure.
it feels like they REALLY want to kill the game they enjoy
Genshin kept improving and updating things since the release. We got tons of qol updates, there are tons of new content in new areas. I still haven't even 100% Fontaine and Remuria. Underwater exploration, new endgame mode. The summer event is amazing
I will never understand where's this whole rhetoric about "genshin's last chance" coming from
Some players think that only endgame content is de true content
@@mrwhisa true
They completely ignore the actual updates like new areas, new types of puzzles, more interesting mechanics.
You should take your own advice because no one is forcing you to watch the video, lol.
i don't know if agree much with you here tbh
Star Rails gameplay is practically non-existent, it's all in the preparation.
where Wuwa forgoes most of the preparation, teambuilding and other things Genshin does well for difficulty of execution instead.
both of these games are lacking in the things i prefer to have in my games and i still enjoy doing my dailies in Genshin
sure there's other Gacha games but i'm not playing these games for the Gacha, i'm playing them cuz they're fun games.
Skill diff 😂🤡🤡💁🏻♀️
@@vkim3149 i see your mom let you out of the cage again

Last Chance? Is this a joke? This is the best game of its genre.
Last chance for what ???
Man I am done with this kind of content creators. Who does anything for just monetisation
I find hsr boring af, and this is coming from someone who prefers and enjoys turn based rpg's
I actually really enjoyed Imaginarium Theatre too. I even posted how much I enjoyed it. I also have a video of the end credits because they're so cute!! ❤❤
And then Hoyo posts how they got negative feedback regarding it etc, and I was really surprised.
Not to mention about powercreep as well
Even the story are overrated as heck. Tons of technobabble and unnecessary yapping for a simple plot. To the point that I would think that Paimon is somewhat better than Penacony yapping arc.
@@lycerisrico8943 I mean I like the game but I will agree about the Penacony yapping ark.
Title maybe in 5 years later...
"Genshin Part 2" is Genshin's last chance lmao
As someone who likes exploration above all, i feel like Genshin is still without equal, even the desert was some of the most fullfilng exploration i've done, but that demands a lot of time and focus not things a lot of players have or enjoy, Genshin will likely never get the players that jumped ship back, and their strategy seems to show that
So many people commenting without watching the full video..
“Genshin’s last chance” 😂😂😂
July 2024 - 62.8 million players
January 2024- 67 milioni players (Historical peak)
This game is more popular than ever and some people really think the game is dying. Reminds me of the “nintendoom” mantra where according to people Nintendo is always one step away from bankruptcy
So the game lost 5 million players in 6 months??? Coincidentally the same time period when another gacha game(WuWa) released
@@ArthurShotgun bruh I love wuwa and it ain't beating genshin....although I hope it can compete with genshin because it's fun
But beating?? Hell no
When you are compairing the portion of players that actually matter which are those who spend moey into the game, you can see how fast the game is losing engagement, just by the fact that a game like HSR with far less players is constantly making more money despite being a lot cheaper to maintain.
Same.
Genshin could spit in my eyeball and call me worthless, but I'd still play because the scenery and music are top tier
@@JerichoTheCity The game is for nobody. It needs to be fixed to be for real players that have nothing to do with it right now.
NGL... the mere fact you mentioned GBF is literally finding the needle in the haystack for content creators. Not a single person I've watched has ever mentioned GBF on anything so you get massive kudo points for that. Thank you!
How far Vars has fallen, When I first started Genshin I thought he actually made good videos
Now a days it's just garbage
Why the fuck is everyone accepting sponsors from AI chats… gross honestly
