Only get anna if you are a newer player and don’t have a good main dps struggling in content, late game non Anna account like myself Anna is no longer a threat or a must get unless you have her 3 or more Res. Tolland, Nux and XP should be top of the food chain for late game players
Unas needs a massive buff so bad. I think he was the best shimmer when the game released but then the shimmers got massively powercrept and all the release shimmers have gotten buffs expect him. Basically a epic esper at this point.

In a way i want Anna meta to be over but i'm really afraid of what could they do that can push Anna out of the pvp meta without stablishing a new meta arround this new "answer"
@@lorpuz4664 and that's the problem with balancing games like this. Anna is eventually gonna be powercrept at some point, it's inevitable, but at least she should have a decent amount of time to shine.

I know Tevor's PvP AI sucks, but his revive block is becoming more and more relevant and for Anna, he can at least overflow at her and strip/control; with protection, he can sometimes even auto. I'm probably going for Anna and setting pity for Tolland, but I was very lucky with Pin.
i've had this theory for a while that i've never tested because im lazy, but i feel like Toland would be a decent dps in desolate lands because when you max his skill out his S3 basically does 630% damage. like i get Tevor exists and he is infinitely better but i feel like toland is probably better than a lot of espers for people who dont have tevor
I'll probably get Toland from reverb since rewards from pvp would help me long term while pve dont have much gems or records to get from. Depending on the next new shimmer its either that one or XP.
Maybe this sounds stupid but i was going to go for xuan pin (got the others minus jj) but i got her through gr pool so im thinking on getting hailey instead saving me 100 wishstones. Idk if its a waste to go for inferno instead of a r1 for one of the shimmers/ getting jj

It was 6 months ago but you should drop your choice up to only Xuan Pin and Persephone. Maybe Xuan Pin cause she's a better buffer ? It all depends on who you already have.
is it worth considering that they might release a shimmer in the next 50ish days and add them to reverb? i was thinking of saving the tokens and upping the chance of pulling a new shimmer in that case

I'll edit this comment but for the first list, Nuxi and XP should have their positions swapped. Nuxi is insane in pvp and good in certain pve related content and vice versa for XP. If you're anywhere near lategame, you should prioritize Nuxi over XP due to rewards being better in PVP. Obviously subject to change.

Not really, he made sound arguments. XP is good in PVP, but not as good as Anna, and if you care about rewards, it makes more sense to get the PVP specialist rather than the PVE specialist, since there's waaaaaay more rewards in PVP.

I think the word you're looking for is SUBSTITUTE, "Toland is a good substitute if you don't have Tevor".

There’s a good chance one of the espers in the new promo banner is a shimmer
I don't think they will add new espers to the reverb pool retroactively. Feng Xun isn't in the reverb pool.
