How to make a Carbon Fiber Heatshield. Step 1 Scan and Design

I am making a heatshield for my Harley Davidon due to me burning my shoes on the exhaust and figured I would record a how to video of the process.
This is the first step of me scanning the exhaust area and designing the prototype.
