    Nice capture👍 film pictures just look different, the camera is so beautiful. Film is still king, having a hard copy, the negative will last for hundreds of years but can’t say for digital files from digital camera. Try use both hand holding the camera, to ensure absolutely no camera shake which may result blurry pictures.

    As a GA645Zi owner be very careful with the film door! The strip that connects with the info display on the back can get damaged very easy. I would try my best not to open that full door all the way!

    What film stock are you using? Awesome portraits bro

    Did you get a chance to try out the manual features, or did you stick to the automatic point and shoot features?

    • @jaysvito
      @jaysvito  Год назад +1

      So yeah I just stuck to the automatic point and shoot features

      @@jaysvito Copy. I'd be curious to see how you fare using the manual settings
      Maybe you'd fix the focusing issues and things like that

      @@NoahBility Really great idea bro. Thankyou! It was my first time using such a camera so starting off with the automatic functions, I told myself this time, why not!

      @@jaysvito Completely understand. I'm only a year and s half into my film journey so I recognise how valuable experimentation is
      Gotta just try shit and learn from there

    I don't follow this fellow. I think his portraits here are exceptionally well composed. Apparently, the camera handled exposure and focus automatically, so he gets no points for that, but they are very superb portraits - better than I could do. I watched the video because from the title I thought it would display information and insight into this camera. If that's why you are here, save 13 minutes of your life you'll never get back. He makes maybe four comments on technical details of the camera, and they are all wrong or misleading, the first of which is erroneous cautions on film loading which could actually cause you to misload the film. His two knocks are (1) that the focus didn't work close up. Well, if you try to focus closer than the camera will auto-focus and disregard the warning in the viewfinder, that's what you get, isn't it? (2) That the images from the 645 format camera show more grain than than those from his 6x7 RB76. Well, duhha! Final thought: during the video of his shooting, he is always hauling his RB67 on a shoulder strap. Who does that? The RB is the heaviest 6x7 format camera out there. It's a studio camera. Not even Mamiya expected users to haul it around to shoot it free hand without a tripod, but to haul it while shooting with another MF camera? it screams " look at me, hipster here". I'm surprised he wasn't sporting a Contax T2 on the other shoulder. Advice: If you are going to post a "how to" video on use of a camera you know nothing about, read the manual first. (Here, the manual is a 50+ page bastard of technical and usage warnings, which seems counterproductive for the only fully automatic MF camera, but there you are.)
