I'm 88 y.o. and my neighbor is going to load me onto his pontoon boat to go fishing this afternoon. I can't walk so this tells you a little bit about the kind of neighbor I have. Randy is a retired pharmacist and I'm a retired dentist. Not important that we catch fish because we enjoy just being out there together. I feel like I have the edge on Randy when it comes to fishing because of the many Richard Geer videos I've watched, From one Richard to another, I thank you sir.

Hey, you know I'll never forget seeing those 3 or 4 black crappie in a big aquarium at a marina in Tennessee. They were in their really dark color with the black spots almost covering them totally. That iridescent purple band on their scales right where their tail fins start seemed like neon lights. I've never seen a more beautiful fish in an aquarium.
I wish I had a super cool nickname like "the machine." Godspeed, Mr. Machine!

thank you for taking the time to pass on some of that knowledge of yours to younger generations, its hard to find someone who will give good advice in person, guess they don't want me out fishing them, even though i do anyway haha. I've had many a great day with these types of baits after you turned me on to ultralight fishing a year or so back, ive caught lots of great fish and had tons of fun thanks to a little nudge in the right direction, and now those skills have carried over into my bass fishing. have a great day richard.

WOOOOO some nice fish there, that old wooden piers is ideal, I’ve got a couple spots with that type structure but it’s rotted below the water line, still attractive to crappie👍
