Thought the same thing as soon as i heard it. Laying on the floor watching Bill Dance, Hank Parker, and Jimmy Houston with my dad, man those we some good times!!!
This theme songs brings me sooo much memories watching Mr Bill dance fishing in the 90's on The TNN network. Keep doing your thing MR Bill Dance, My the good lord bless you and your family!
I grow up watching Bill Dance as a kid in the inner city and this is my favorite fishing guy. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 To me nobody is better than my man right here.✌🏾
No other fishing show ever seemed to break things down in such a clear presentation. I learned so much watching you as a kid. I remember wanting a hat like yours! Ha! I thought it brought you good luck, you never seemed to catch a small fish...ever! Thanks for all the educational entertainment!!
Same here. Reminds me of when I was a youngster watching his show. I still like to hear and see it whenever it's on. It's the next best thing to do when I can't go fishing. Great memories!!
I still have the very first bill dance signature rod he came out with and love it as much as the day I drove almost two hours to get it. And yesterday for my sons 21st birthday he wanted to go fishing on the way to the boat ramp he played the bill dance theme song it was a priceless moment.
Mr. Dance , I have watched you on TV for years and I have found you on Utube ! I have noticed that you are able to give so much more information on this sort of media ! I am Thankful for the ability to enjoy and learn from One of the BEST !!!!! Stay Safe and have a Blessed Day !
Good to watch you bill ive got one of your autographs on a stren line package from way back been watching you for many years and many more to come thanks God Bless.
I am a far better fisherman for watching and listening to you, Bill. Since I can remember... I was just a kid... 12-13-14 honestly I don't remember. I'm 50... I just know my Dad wasn't really a bass Angler so I learned from you... No joke. And by extension and to this day you have taught 4 more young men I get to call my son's. Really can't say enough about you, Bill. Thank you for year's of knowledge, fish and definitely laugh's 😁 Sorry but... Go Dawgs 😉

Watching your show through The years Mr Dance when the wife and I go crappie fishing she becomes Mrs. Dance she always says, (my husband Bill taught me how to do that) as she's catching bigger and more than myself. Keep on fishing bill it does a body good
been fishin with bill dance today since i was knee high. love how you still at it bill your the best. love the humble flex of the 20k rig hehe good to see a master at work
If I could be anything for a day I'd choose to be a grandkid of Bill's out on a run to Bas Pro before heading out on the water with ol' Pops! Legend!!🐐🙂💙💚
Mr. Dance, thank you for this video. Went out to a local gravel pit last weekend with a couple of buddies. Got into the crappie and we were averaging 13 to 14 inch crappie on swim baits. Today I'll be showing my mom how to slip cork for them on a bayou.
My best day for crappie day was using this similar rig and tubebait!!!filled up a 5 gallon bucket full of white crappies in no time and they were delicious🍴👍🎣
Man, I just got took back to my childhood with that theme song. I'll often hum that tune when I'm out trying to find some slabs, glad that I can share some good ole Bill Dance with my son
I enjoy watching your videos,I wish others with fishing channels would follow your lead. You are definately down to earth. Hope to see more of your videos soon.
Hello Mr. Dance, been watching you since I was a little guy. I've always appreciated your passion to help all Fisherman be better at hooking up. I've found another old school RUclipsr by the name of Steve Comalander ( The Old Fisherman.). Between the two of you, all the bases get covered. Keep on keeping on Bill.
I’m thinking fillets but I AM!! Always do if they are 10” or larger crappie . Keep them ice cold from the minute you catch them until you fry them and the taste and texture is incredible!
By far my most used technique for years, though I use the string type vs rubber stops... I don't think it makes much difference. Anyways, thanks for another great show, Bill. We love you. Ted Marshall Sanford, FL
I grew up watching Bill dance I haven’t had cable tv in about ten years so it’s been a while, found out he has a RUclips channel I’m like I have a lot of catching up to do lol
I'm going to try your presentation Bill. I've never tried to use a lure on a cork but I've seen some of the guys do it in Mississippi Do it. I think it's time for me to try it thanks for the information. You're the reason I started fishing anyway when I was a little boy. Another great video man!
Bill dance I had no idea you had a RUclips channel. But now I do. An I have happily subscribed🤙 An gona have to share this with my Grandpaw which works out great because it's his young birthday today @82.. lol..🤠 we always loved ya bill dance. I met BD up on Kentucky lake when I was in the Army station at Ft Campbell Ky. while I was fishing with a Army buddy back in1978 , gave us a couple of pointers on how the crappie were biting . 👍
when I was younger, hook line , lead weight wait and bobber, on that hook was a mealworm, that was my favorite rig. Crappie and in a blue moon in my memory Bass
Man some of them crappie would be hard for me to turn down bc of the big ones you catch but I've watch Bill dance bloopers and he is the beat fisherman I know I listen to him like a teacher
I will always appreciate your knowledge that you share with us! This will as well improve my crappie catches! Thank you sir! Awesome help to my channel as well! God bless! Stay safe! BABAAM!!
I liked the water line & underwater views of the float's motion. I'd have liked to see the line shortened a bit so we could see the way the jig moved underwater. Well done. I wonder if there are any massive sunfish (bluegill, red ear etc.....) in that pond. Funny how bluegill just seem to appear in a body of water, like even a pond or farm tank when nobody planted or released any there.
billdancefishing Hahahaa. I love how you three (Roland and Jimmy) pick at each other. God bless and thanks for all the years of great fishing/teaching video!
Here's something you might not believe but it's the truth... I've been buying Quantum since you told us about them. I own and have been fishing HARD with a Quantum Energy Titanium baitcast reel 25+year's old. It's long lost its magnets, it only has the star drag and tension cap holding on the plate. Lol...I have caught thousands of fish with this reel! 70+lb sharks... Big Reds, etc.. So many bass it ridiculous. Caught 2 with it today! It's my wormin reel mainly. It's seen many tournaments and been left in all the elements. 😲😁 It's actually a part of me.. lol.. no one can cast it EXCEPT me...😁😎 Many have tried...Super Free Spool for sure! I remember spending the most money I had ever spent on a reel but I just had to have it. It was about $200.00 in the early 90s... needless to say...it's priceless! And no one would give me 10$ for it! Lol.. I love that. So there's a TRUE story about the Greatest Quantum Titanium Energy Reel ever built. Regards: Mike D Quantum definitely rocks
What color would you say serves you guys best. I always used black and chartreuse. That salmon pink think it's called electric chicken is 🔥 as well. I suck with jigs.
I never could catch crappie with a bobber unless I was using live minnows. I always liked using a small 2.5" black/chartreuse tube bait with a small elbow spinner. I catch crappie, bass, bluegill, sand bass, and even a small 2lb striper on that!
Hello Mr Dance, did you choose that color jig due to the weather? Just wondering if the color plays a significant part during different seasons. Thanks keep on fishing God bless.
Hi Mr. Bill that was a nice video, I am from Northeastern, Louisiana i fish s lake shape like a horseshoe. There a place that has a lot of logs on the bottom. Could the crappies be around the logs at this time on the full moon we have now, and could i used the same set up you just show for the crappies. we the water get very low in september you can see the logs.Right now it is about 5 to 6 feet so how deep i need to fish for the crappies. please let me know ok. thank you. and you are the number one bass angler too. i watch all of your shows i be 60 this april.

This is either a very old video, or Bill's boat is about 4 years out of registration.

How fast should we pull the line to jig the bait under the slip stoppers?
