Just watched a 5yr old video of the machine that came down my home page. This man has been a godsent to so many of us. I’ve said what I’m about to say on many of his videos and I’m going to say it again. Richard is the Grandpa, Dad, and brother a lot of us never had. I was blessed to have men like this in my life. But I know many of you didn’t. At that’s why Richard is such a blessing to so many people. Cell phone and computer technology isn’t always good. But in cases like this where men and young men and some women I’m sure can have Richard right in your own home or in your own boat showing the way. My dad always taught me, Teaching a man to fish is important, you’ll see a lot of people keep fishing tips secret. Don’t ever do that he said. The more you teach, the more you’ll catch. That’s how Mother Nature works. He always taught me. If you catch a really big fish. Don’t eat it or mount it. Always let the really big trophy go. There is places that can make your mount from pics and measurements. You let those monsters go, and you’ll always catch monsters and even more keepers to eat. If you don’t think that is true, well just look at my picture
couldn't have said it better, RGTFM reminds me of fishing with my grandmaw, she's been gone 15 yrs now but Richard's video bring back all those wonderful memories.
I fish a very similar setup. Same rod, different reel (I love that rod), 7lb braid and I always have it rigged with a white head road runner. I would say that about 90% of my fishing knowledge comes from watching this channel. Thank you Richard.
Gooood un Richard. Thank you for takin us along. Appreciate everything you show us and teach us. I mean brother makes you want to jump up and holler wooooo and glory to God. God bless you Richard and your family and have a blessed day my friend.
Sir I want to just tell you thanks and let you know I appreciate all your awesome fishing knowledge you share with us all. I mean if you tells us to try something you know it is going to work cause you have seen it work for so many year's. I want you to know that you are appreciated sir cause you have help me show my kiddos that the sport of fishing is second to nothing. They love to fish and I'm glad that I have you as my teacher sir. Keep the awesome fishing videos and tips and tricks coming. And till the next's one GodBless and Tight Lines. P.S. also enjoy hear you speak about our Lord as well keep it up.
Been watchin your videos for a while now and have decided this was the best place to subscribe for great crappie fishing tips. Great information and great entertainment. Thank you for BOTH.
Ive been having success using a road runner under a bobby garland mo glow at night at my local waters around docks. Water temps are about 40-45 degrees in my neck of the woods. No night light needed either. Ive come to love the underspin.
Man Richard brother I know what you mean by woooooo time I get in the boat and on the water I'm so excited cause like you say fishing is 2nd to none I love it. GOD knew what he was doing creating fish and fishing
Thanks for all the good videos and all that you do to help us anglers out... big fan...is there anyway you can do a video on cleaning and maintenance on the fishing reels?
We got them up here in central and near northern Ontario in lakes. During winter ice fishing, you wont ever even feel or see the bite without a strike indicator. Thry are extremely soft. Keep slamin em Richard!!
thanks Richard as this was a really important video as they always arn't at the usual spots and you need to know how to hunt them up. I have a bunch of underspins but rarely use them but know perfect spot on the rip rap to use them
It's so awesome to see Richard using spinners. I'm kind of a beginner/intermediate and I love Rooster Tails and Mini Kings for locating schools of Crappie. I don't use Roadrunners as much but only because I only have one. Looking to get a variety of those as well as I'm addicted to spinners. If there were one bait I had to take with me for survival purposes it would most certainly be a Rooster Tail. It's the one lure I have 100% confidence in and have never been skunked with. Close behind are the Crickhopper, Mini King, and Beetle Spin. In fact, a Crickhopper may be the smarter choice because you almost never get hung up.
Awesome video, Mr Richard. You be safe out there. I won’t be doing any fishing for about a year. I just got out of UAB. I had open heart surgery and it’s tough. Well, I’ll be watching out for your videos. God bless.
Thanks Richard for all the great videos. Your tips have changed my fishing game forever .we love and appreciate you. May God Bless and tight lines 🙏 ✝ 💘
Good video Richard, florida native here. Love catching those crappie but not dominant in our lakes hard to locate and even harder to keep other from following you and crowding you. I travel out of state for crappie it's a shame but hard to catch limits in Central Florida. Boo hoo I know but your giving me my fix thank you
I like your content Richard. Every time I see a close up on your hands reminds me a lot of my Uncle Charlie who, along with my Dad were the 2 people I learned to love fishing from. I wish so often that I could fish with them again, especially now that I just moved onto the bank of a 14 acre lake just south of Memphis in Nesbit, MS. Having a ball learning this lake and FINALLY getting back into fishing. WHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
I don't have much experience catching crappie. I've bass fished my whole life and I still love it but for some reason I'm leaning more towards crappie fishing. I think it's because it's more laid-back and I can relax and enjoy it more.
Great guy. Appreciate the videos. Thanks for sharing Jesus with everyone. Your another one of his tools . Appreciate you sharing your knowledge of fishing to us. My life never been the same after losing my daddy my fishing buddy. Oct 15 2012. Thx again for your videos realy enjoy them.
I’ve got a new diwa revrus and it’s smoothest reel i own. After seeing you fish with it I got one a few weeks ago and was shocked at how smooth it feels and drags
Struggling in a new to me lake in post spawn peak crappie season but the few best fish I have found were on the roadrunner spins because of you suggesting them...
WOOOOO! Another great video! I need the wind to die down a little here so I can get out there and hunt me up some fish! Clark hill is a big lake and it takes some hunting! Especially with just a trolling motor, but sometimes the hunt is almost as fun! Thanks for the great videos!
Hello Richard I'm a big fan of yours and a big fan of bass fishing and I was wondering if you knew any good bass spots near Jacksonville ,Pleasent Valley and the Piedmont area?

My buddy Tanner passed you on the water today near Ditto marina, he thinks the world of you but he was too nervous to say hey. Fish on!
I see your shelves in the background. No wonder I can't find the Nikko Hellgrammite's, you got'em all. Ha Ha! Thanks for taking us along.

Hey man dang!! hope u heal up soon man get back out there 👍
This fishing hole looks amazing, by me I got a small lake that is so overfished you have to use live bait to catch anything
I love road runners. They are great for white bass and big redbreast sunfish too.
Ol Jimmy Houston used to catch a lot of fish on them Roadrunners, he was crazy about them!
What's best for fishing? Live minnows or artificial bait?
Thanks Richard for all the great videos. Your tips have changed my fishing game forever .we love and appreciate you. May God Bless and tight lines 🙏 ✝ 💘

Richard is that a new boat? I can't recall seeing it??
I'm talking about WOOOOOOO!!!!!
Hey what good gang
I think they hit the lure hard because they constantly exercise fighting 👋 current like a smallmouth as opposed to lake fish. Those are nice slabs!
Hello Richard I'm a big fan of yours and a big fan of bass fishing and I was wondering if you knew any good bass spots near Jacksonville ,Pleasent Valley and the Piedmont area?
