Please, please, please, never go to using Livescope. A big part of what makes your channel great is that you practice and honor traditional fishing which requires skill and knowledge. You are a great teacher and a lot of your subscribers are folks who don't have the cash or are bank fisherman who will never use livescope. Please don't go to "video game" fishing where you miss out on the beauties of nature around you and focus on a screen.

Ha ha. When you gonna jump on the band wagon of the live scope. The machine, who needs a live scope, when you know how to fish with experience and instinct. That’s pro level.Keep doing what you do. Thanks for your knowledge in the videos.

That is some nice slabs you caught! You are, by far, my favorite fisherman to watch. I am just getting back in to fishing after not being able to for around 15 years and you have already taught me more about being able to go out and catch fish without having to spend thousands of dollars on unneeded things that any others I have watched. You mentioned live scopes and such. I believe that using electronics is like catching fish in an aquarium. You really don't have to have any skill to fish with them when it is showing you exactly where to put your hook. Real skill is when, like you said, you can go out on any body of water and just look around for certain things like the shad or a fallen tree and know how to find the fish, without a $20,000 boat with another $10,000 worth of electronics on it. I can have just as much fun fishing on a WHOLE LOT less than that! Go out with NO electronics and you will see just how good of a fisherman you really are!!! I feel the same when it comes to hunting. Anybody can bag a trophy Buck when they are fenced in for the amateurs. Love you guys and God bless you and your family for being good ole down to earth, genuine, God-fearing people.

I would just love to catch fish like that. I'm disabled with a cardiac condition to boot. Can't afford even a row boat on a Sheriff's Dept. pension. I can make it to a city park dock, the lake is filled with Blue Gill which I do love using my St Croix UL rod I bought 20 years ago with a Pinnacle UL reel from the same time period..........really a great fun combo.
You did inspire me though to let loose with some $'s and I just ordered some Road Runner Crappie Jigs. Really looking forward to trying them. Our Trout Season opens in a month now. I have a sweet little ten-year-old Granddaughter who turns out to be a budding fisher woman. I want to try these Road Runners on some trout with her. I can't wait to see the expression on her face when she catches her first Rainbow. If the Road Runner doesn't work.....there's the mini marshmallows for her and the trout to indulge.
Thanks for a great channel, many of us who can't get out to fish and catch through you Richard!

I pour and powder paint all kinds of jigs.I been just pouring regular collarless round heads (I modded the mold to accept underspin if I want them) and when I want a pill/aspirin head style I just take a 100 or so and squish the head in a vice.I also modded the 1/32 and 1/16 molds to accept anything from #8 to 2/0 on both molds. The bigger hook allows me to use bigger baits without having to go up in weight and it also slows down the fall of the bait a lot.
I have the regular mold that does one of each 1/64,1/80,1/32,1/16,1/8,1/4,but to get the pro series that only does one size they want $100-120+ depending where you get it for each of the 1/64,1/80 and 1/100 molds.
Livescope just gives the ones that has next to no skill or knowledge a better chance to catch fish.May as well sit home and play Xbox....it's not as expensive either...lol
