How you can make a fabulous dress for your chubby blythe doll - step by step tutorial

- It is difficult to find gorgeous clothes to fit a chubby blythe so I am making my own and this is an easy to follow step by step approach to making a chubby blythe doll dress.
In this video I make a lined cotton shift dress in some very cute ditsy floral cotton fabric and added some lace, pretty beads and ruffled vintage style seam binding. I also made a cotton underslip/petticoat to go under the dress so that the pom pom detail showed beneath the dress, I really like this layered look. I hope you find the video useful, feel free to ask any questions in the comments and I will do my best to help. At long last I have turned the dress into a digital template/pattern - now available in my Etsy shop!

Really cute Dress. I love you added the little pearl beads to it. I have kicked myself more than once or twice for NOT buying the Chubby Blythe that was in my cart for.....months. Now? You can not find them (at least for the price)
Hi, they are definitely less available now and the prices are a lot more now. I bought a body and transferred a head onto it. There don’t seem to be any on eBay now but there was one body fairly reasonably priced (£28) on Amazon and one for £90 which is extortionate. These things go in waves. They can’t have been very popular or they would still be banging them out on eBay! I’m sure they will again someday. But thanks for watching:) Heather xxx

Hi - unfortunately I don't have any digital patterns available at the moment, but I keep getting asked and it is a good idea so I am going to sort something out! In the meantime, if you need a pattern for a chubby blythe, I found this on Etsy, creatoriq.cc/49QdVjm (it's an affilliate link which means if you click and purchase it, it doesn't cost you any more but I do receive a very small commission) I haven't used it myself as I make my own patterns to use myself but there don't seem to be many chubby blythe patterns out there as far as I can see so I hope it's useful to you!
