  • Hi, this is how I personally print on fabric to make Blythe doll clothes - I think if you have a beautiful doll it's worth having unique and beautiful clothes for them too and this is a great way I have found of customising fabric for clothes in a fairly quick and easy way. I am not suggesting anyone else does this, and if you do decide to do this - do it at your own risk! I take no responsibility for your end result or for anything that happens to your printer as a result... although I found it quite straight forward, I did find some threads tangled in my printer afterwards so be warned!
There are other tutorials on this type of thing on youtube which are very good too! I thought this lady explained it well: • Rubyjam Fabric - Print...
My dolly clothes don't get a lot of wear and tear so I don't tend to need to wash them after I have made them - so at the moment I have no idea whether the print from this printer is waterproof - I suspect not very, but I may do some tests so I will let you know how these come out in another video. I used an 'epson surecolor p400' printer in the past for the same process and the print did withstand hand washing but I don't think this printer is available on the market anymore.
    Important information!!!
I have signed up for the Amazon associates programme!
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases, basically I get commissions for purchases made through links in this post. The commission is very small so I am told, but if you click on the amazon links and purchase from amazon, this doesn't cost you anything, but I will receive a very small amount as a result which hopefully will eventually add up to an amazon gift voucher to spend on pretty things (which I will show you if this ever happens!).
If this bothers you, please don't use the link - it's ok. you can just go to amazon or do a web search independently and find the things I have used instead.
I have added amazon affiliate links below for items I have used in this video if this is any use to you, this includes my printer, the iron on sew through adhesive sheets and the freezer paper!

Thanks for watching! I’m not recommending anyone actually do this but if you do, do at your own risk! I take no responsibility for the end result or anything that might happen to your printer as a result! I did find some thread tangled in my printer after so be warned.

Great tips! This is something I did (before our inkjet printer perished - not related!) and had really great fun with!! I have also enjoyed using the freezer paper as a template for painting onto fabric as well! Thanks for sharing! ^_^

Hi Sam :) it’s not my original idea, I’ve seen other RUclipsrs do it too. Just be warned, I did find some threads tangled in my printer afterwards so if you do this, best that in mind and do it at your own risk 😂 hope you are well and having a great week anyway, Heather xxx
