My grandpa and mom both loved this movie so much. The atmosphere really got to Gramps in particular. Whenever we rewatched, just the entire history of Radiator Springs would make us cry. There's this feeling of bygone days they coulda really leaned further into. Overall, I really like the trilogy, even if I don't think they're necessarily good. Cars 2 is hilarious for me, and 3 always makes me cry. I guess Doc's backstory just brings out the Grandpa/Mom missing part of me lol
