Embers Fire is a godly classic.
If the production was better on this recording, it'd be one of the best live performances they've ever done. Nick is on point here, not usually something one can say about later PL concerts. Even the setlist is perfect, they actually played Daylight Torn, Your Hand in Mine, Shattered, Shallow Seasons and Forging Sympathy, all of which wouldn't be performed after 1994 (except Shattered a few years ago).
Golden era of gothic metal. Fantastic show!
Steve plays that bass really hard
It's the audio mixing that sucks as hell. By the way, the rhythm guitar is totally nonexistent.

@@GiacomoCagnin1995 This happened a lot during their concerts in that era. Maybe it was intentional. Or maybe Aaron owed the sound tech guy some money.

Incredible how the audience react to relatively new songs at the time as if they already were the classics that all of them would soon become. There's also some kind of naïve atitude that makes this performance such a treat. I remember they came to Portugal in 93 or 94 opening for Sepultura, who were promoting "Chaos A.D.". 400km from my city and i was 13 or 14 at the time. I love this band, i hope they do a second euro leg of the Icon 30 tour.
I Saw Paradise Lost in Lisbon on this tour. It was amazing and it was their best time.

Присоединяюсь к высокой оценке произведение Джона Милтона, мне повезло, я тоже смог достать эту же книгу в переводе 1885года. Творчество Paradise lost, талант музыкантов ни с чем не сравниться. Этот концерт очень удачный и бесподобный, прошло 30 лет ! Я его периодически переслушиваю и не перестаю восторгаться !!!

"Gothic" is just for listening to the studio version only. Total wreckage of the atmosphere, vocals and whole sound while they are playing it alive. 😑
