You wouldn't believe the struggles I went through to watch your videos. I've seen this one MANY times. These tablet videos are what made me fall in love with mobile tech. Thank you Ashens
I used to be wowed by tablets and smartphones! Now they feel normal. 😮 A funny thing I saw in 2018 was an arcade machine with prizes. It had an unbranded tablet inside that said "Android 2" on the side. It must've been in there for 8 years! There were also those MP3 players. I don't know, it seems like those machines are super rigged! Or people don't care about playing them in a hotel.
Now the funny thing is mate, I have been here since 2009 when my favorite brand of car - Saturn - died. He helped me greatly. I was literally 13 when it died and finding Ashens was the best thing. We all relate to the feeling of finding our British Bootleg fanatic.

@Letters to Fuckface It was considerably more obscure back then, don't know what the hell you're on about. Perhaps seek out a therapist or try some deep breathing exercises in the meantime, you might live longer.
Also from what I remember reading from the maker of Haipads (Haina), judging from the odd placement of buttons and the protruding SD card, I think Ashen actually bought a "fake" Haipad (knockoff of a knockoff). Haina did put notice on their website warning people of fake Haipads.

I spent a couple of weeks in China with some friends back in 2010. While in Shanghai we visited a rather dodgy market place hidden away in the basement level of a city building. I made it my mission to experience the bountiful joys of a knockoff iPad, and sure enough it wasn't long before my Chinese speaking friend found a merchant selling the vaunted A-Pad. The device refused to turn on unless plugged into the wall, and even then it took upwards of 5 minutes to boot up. It was very difficult to actually try any of the apps or features because the base FPS while sitting at the home screen was literally about 1-2 frames per second. The device eventually crashed a to black screen with error log. After we left my Chinese friend informed me that while I was playing with the A-Pad, the merchant was trying to persuade him to let them rip me off in exchange for a cut of the profit. GG
I like Ashen's rendition of The Girl From Ipanema. It's crazy to see how far tablets have gone in a short time. The Asus Transformer tablet I got my Dad a couple months ago runs so much better and wasn't too expensive. I think I payed $400 for one and that included the keyboard dock/reserve battery.

Ashens said it very well. If you were into messing with things, this could actually be a fairly decent device. It's funny how the new iPad can't rival the dirt cheap android tablets now... The only thing it has going for it is metal construction. Many people would just put a case on it anyways.
A fun way to cheat at those spot-the-differences games: if you cross your eyes so the pictures line up (in this case you'd have to tilt the game on its side), then the differences should seem to flash. It's hard to describe, but it's pretty noticeable.
I phone up one of my usual numbers and a little boy answers the phone. "Are you parents home, young man?" I ask. I hear him drop the phone and burst into tears. I wait a few seconds until someone pick up the phone. An elderly voice at the end of the line barks back at me: "For the last time, this is an orphanage. PLEASE stop calling."
I remember ordering a similar tablet off a home shopping TV channel. It didn't even have the actual Android Market or any other actual Google apps, and also the touch screen was even less responsive than this one, so I sent it back pretty quickly.
Seems like a pretty good device for this price. It's Android device so you can replace the UI with some other UI available from the market (LauncherPro).
