Thank you for the video. I've just get my cinebot25 without vtx and was looking for a tutorial how to disasamble and assemble it back without a pain. This is the only relevant video I found. Pefrect tip to keep 1 screew in o3 unit and secure it to a frame with only 3 screws.
Dude! For a complete noob like me trying to work out what to start with and wth Betaflight does, this video is just sooooo comprehensive! Amazing stuff bud, thanks so so much!
Great tutorial!! I just got this drone, and this video has helped a lot. Quick question: How do you remount the o3 camera onto the silicone balls?? The left side of mine popped loose after my drone went down in a field. Any help is appreciated!
I have a cinebot30 and I do live shows, I really like it because it can withstand the wind. In relation to cinebot25, what do you think during external flights?
Thanks you for the very detailed review and setup. I'm looking at this GepRC drone to make some real estate fly throughs. I already freetyle but I needed a small quad to take some smooth indoor shots. Thanks. 👍👍
Alright so I’m new at this. Can you assign a switch to have different rates so I could have say lower rates for indoor then flip I switch and the rates go up for raster rolls etc outdoors.
I just ordered one of these guy up. Keeping fingers crossed it ships fast from GEPRC. Your discount code basically paid for express shipping of this unit. While I was at it, I picked up a spare frame so I have all parts in case of a disaster. Thanks for showing off this setup as I will be doing the same thing with a zoro
Hey thanks for using my link man! Hope all the info I put out on this quad helps you. I’ll continue more videos for it. I’m glad my code got some good $$$ off for you! 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼 enjoy it! It’s 🔥🔥🔥
@@dronecamps I have been flying DJI since phantom1. I want to expand my horizons and learn FPV to offer more for clients. This guide is going to help a ton for my initial setup. And yes please show a GPS install on this thing!!
Newbie here. Thanks! Great tutorial. Can everything covered in this video guide be applied to the Cinebot30? Can Rate Profile 2,3,and 4 be set to a 3 way Aux switch?
You can give it a try. It is a completely different power system on this quad, so it may react differently. Just make sure you save it to a different profile and save your original settings on profile 1.
Great review Justin! I've been subscribed since my first quad, the legendary Eachine Trashcan. 4 yrs later that thing still rips on 2s. Thanks for everything, brother.
No kidding? Wow man the "Trashcan" funniest quad name ever. And you know what I still have mine. I should find it and fly it. That little guy was so much fun! - Thanks for the kind words. - Justin
Yup. Followed your mod guide and everything. You and Stu were the channels that first introduced me to FPV. Fast forward 5yrs and 50 quads later I'm loving this hobby more than ever. I've never commented on posts but I just thought you should know that brother. Appreciate you, homie @@dronecamps
I finally got my cinebot yesterday and this video helped me get it hooked right up. I also have a Pavo 20 with ridiculously detuned rates for indoor flight. The Pavo sticks are still pretty sensitive. Meaning small stick motions on pitch and roll still move it a lot. The Cinebot needs much larger stick movement. What setting changes this? Ideally I would love something in between.
@@SerialKoE yes expo for sure but a huge improvement was actually Betaflight 4.5. It behaves a bit differently in angle and horizon. For me it is a good thing.
Weird, I just got mine after I saw your recommendation and the ELRS receiver version I bought the receiver won't fire up with the USB, only with battery. That's a first for me
I am getting rxloss**** for like half a sec today, lucky everything is fine. I am using Radiomaster Boxer ELRS flying cinebot25s O3 with DJI goggles V2 like your setup. 1. Am I flying too far away? Its about 2 soccer fields with clear LOS. 2. Is lower Packet Rate like 50Hz has better range? 3. Does lower packet rate provide better range but slower response? 4. Does higher TX Power provide better penetration when flying behind obstacles? 5. Approximate how far can I go with your ELRS setting?
Anyone know where I can get a run cam thumb pro mount for this? The normal one that fits around the camera. The bottom part is too thick for the tiny little mount that comes with this drone.
It’s different. I’m assuming the prop guards are going to hold up better than the Cinelog series quads. When I hit the bench I thought I had broken the prop guards.
Have you done a detailed video like this for the Cinelog 25V2 I’ve recently bought a Bind n fly one from GEPRC. One of the props is touching the prop guard/duct. Not very good for a brand new item to be honest, and gutted that the Cinebot 25 came out just after I purchased the log. ;)
Also, how to go about having more that one quad as this Cinelog is my second Bind n Fly so I need to be able to be going back and forth between the 2. I’m in the U.K. so can’t really be sending it in to you I doubt
I have no idea how much it matters, but your sticks should go 1000-2000 in betaflight. Yours seem to go below 1000 and above 2000. You can fix that in your radio's configuration.

I'll continue to evangelize that people should use pre-arm. I personally use "Yaw-Trim-Right" for this mode on my Boxer which is easy to use but hard to press accidentally. I nearly got bitten once before I added pre-arm to my quads. I know it's stopped at least one possible accident.
Justin can you post your Betaflight backup file for this. I completely jacked my files somehow trying to get my GPS and remote ID working. I lost everything and somehow corrupted my backups. Same here. For some reason they have attached the receiver to UART4 instead of UART2. I tink UART2 would be a 4v5.
I think they are doing this to make it easier for the customer to solder the HD video receiver to UART1, as UART2 is directly behind it.
