cleetus same deal truck 4x4 coyote tranny got about 25ish passes before it toasted the stock 10speed, and needed rebuilding... then put new built up tranny back in made 15 -25more passes and then it broke the coyote crank off in front main area .
Back in 1998 I was just cruising around the dealerships in my area and I saw this Dodge Dakota 5.9RT. This was before the internet was really a thing and you had to judge if something would be fast on your own. The aftermarket was non existent at that point unless you bought things out of a Summit catalogue there wasn't much out there for anything that wasn't a 5.0 or old school BBC. I bought a single cab black Dakota RT thinking Dude a small truck with a big V8 hell yes. I swear that thing made like 180whp in the dead of Winter at sea level in Houston. Now we have F150's making almost 900whp with a Whipple and bolt ons running deep into the 10's. What a time to be alive. Now if I could please make sure everyone here votes for Trump so we can get back to American normalcy that'd be great. TRUMP24!!!
800-900hp will create transmission problems in any stock trans. The truck is solid but it’s so “easy” to make close to 1000 that most people’s first problem is the transmission slipping or going out. After that it lives pretty good with a good tune and quality fuel
Yah the trans is just not made for 900-1000hp loll. Build it out and I'll be fine. I know you're thinking about Cleetus truck as well. These just need a solid trans build at these levels.

*need to tell your tuner to give you a 2nd gear leave. A 1st gear leave is too short and makes the car jumpy*
