Atlas blue 4x4 5.0l XL comes with a digital cluster, big 12inch center infotainment, active lane keep, attention assist, blind spot, cross traffic, parktronic etc. Boy has the world changed a shitbox XL lol. The gen 6 whipple was just released last weekend for them along with the gen 5 and gen5x however i cant imagine going gen 5. I have a built 01 cobra with a ysi-b. For some reason this 150 is just going to be more fun I feel.

Cloth seats, Cross traffic, 12inch display with sync 4, blind spot, lane keep assist, auto high beams, attention assist, cruise, auto park engage, these XL's come pretty setup its surprising. Xl's used to be garbage in terms of comfort. This thing is just as nice as my 2021 F350 lariat if not nicer in some ways.

Cowboys7880 Midnight Performance is making some of the fastest F150s in Texas aren't they? They also make some fast Mustangs. Mexican race league held the fastest 1/4 Mustang time, not sure if he still holds it, but he's from Texas
A 10 second car is still fast.. I know there are guy's doing 7's and 8's but most of those guy's "no matter the car" whether Dodge Chevy or Ford spent a lot of (money) and (broke a lot of parts) to do it.. Honestly I'd be happy with a solid 10 second stick car that's plenty fast enough..

That trackhawk needs a Tim Barth Tune no doubt. I’m pretty sure he is the best in the country at tuning these Mopar vehicles. On another note that Coyote is sick nasty!! Don’t mess with legit Coyotes they move out!!
@@Cole_Dashyeah with sleeves and a lot of block work. The blocks are not capable by them selves. The coyote is not king they break faster. The hellcat block is iron already it’s stronger as it comes and you can bore and stroke them something the coyote or voodoo can’t do. They also make way more tq than a coyote. There are 2000 hp stock block hellcats now. And the gen 3 hellcat platform has been pushed to near 3000 hp in drag racing currently. Motor to motor nobody compares to the hemi in terms of total power out put at all rpm’s and accounting tq. The issue is all the hemi cars tend to be 800 lbs plus than everyone else. And as you can see you’re doing just fine in a heavier vehicle making more power.
I remember when I was a kid like 16 years old and we thought a 15 second pass was fast back then.. And It was for that time I guess.. If you had a 15 second car you were considered fast back then, but now these new cars that are out with DCT's and AWD are just amazing...

Looks like a great time and you have an amazing attitude for fun racing! Just as an FYI, there's no "boost building" with your type of supercharger. You're just stressing your drive line. I would however, build the rpms up to about 1k for nothing else than a faster reaction! Great video! You got yourself a new sub.

If you're running heads up, you need to not be worrying more about ET but about RT. If you can get your RT sub .200 you'll be more consistent. Best RT I've ever cut was in Sanoma at Infineon in my 86 Caprice, .001. Since it didn't leave hard I always staged deep enough for the first staging light to go out and left on the last yellow.
The reason why I was told not to deep stage is because you can leave sooner and get a better roll out, which will equal a fast ET. At this time, all I was trying to do is run a 9 second pass in the Trackhawk
See this is why ford needs to bring back the extended cab f150..it’s small enough to be fast yet big enough to still use it ..unlike single cab trucks which are fun boxes, but too small..

Better have 8 or 900 hp for 2nd gear leave. Funny I had the same issue with LR's tune. Wouldnt shift and hit the rev limiter. Got a Wengerd tune and runs Perfect. Get a second opinion. For the guy with the ess kit. You gave the whipple truck 2 tenths on the light.
I don’t think he was making that much horsepower on 93 octane, it’s definitely capable of that much on e85. Reaction time is my weakness and something I need to work on
The 10 speed is better for roll racing really. If you want to dig with a Mustang get the 6R or shift your ass off with a manual.. I've seen some Badass GT stick cars but that's usually with a Built MT82 or Tremec. And if I am really being honest a built 6r is the way to go for dig stuff.. I'll bet that ESS kit does a nasty 60 to 130 though for sure..
That seems to be the truth. Those 10 speeds haven’t been able to hold up to the abuse from a dig. I’ve heard rumors of Midnight Performance getting new prototype parts that could possibly change that but we’ll see. I need to just turn my Mustang into a drag car, already got the transmission for it.

@@libbymolly1 Yes I did move before the green light, it’s a drag racing technique. There’s a lot more technique to drag racing than just going on the green light. If you go when the light turns green you’re already late.
I don’t understand why you are at the track with street tires on instead of an actual set of drag racing slicks on your Trackhawk. 4 slicks would allow you to leave in first gear plus allow you to build up your boost that alone would easily get you into the 9’s. I would recommend getting a drag racing video game it would help you with your reaction times. About 4 or 5 years ago a friend of mine was racing with a mostly stock 5.0 Mustang and his reaction times were all over the place and all of the slow. We started racing online using No Limit Drag Racing game the first version and after making hundreds of passes he was cutting consistent.02 lights. The next time he went to the track and any time after that his reaction times were .01 to .04’s he even beat someone else that ran quicker and faster but he got there first. I’m pretty sure that you still download the game for free even though they have a newer version that is much more complicated and less fun. Give it a try you got nothing to lose but better reaction times. Plus I just subscribed to check your progress to the 9’s.
Thanks for letting me know about the drag racing game, I definitely need to improve my reaction time. As far as the tires on the Trackhawk, they are Mickey Thompson Drag radials. They’re not a slick, but a lot of fast 9 second hawks run them. Leaving in 1st gear is a problem with these. I don’t the exact reason but when I started making over 900hp to the wheels 1st was unusable even on the Mickeys. All the recorded setting Trackhawks launch in 2nd gear.

Better have 8 or 900 hp for 2nd gear leave. Funny I had the same issue with LR's tune. Wouldnt shift and hit the rev limiter. Got a Wengerd tune and runs Perfect. Get a second opinion. For the guy with the ess kit. You gave the whipple truck 2 tenths on the light.
I don’t think he was making that much horsepower on 93 octane, it’s definitely capable of that much on e85.

The 10 speed is better for roll racing really. If you want to dig with a Mustang get the 6R or shift your ass off with a manual.. I've seen some Badass GT stick cars but that's usually with a Built MT82 or Tremec. And if I am really being honest a built 6r is the way to go for dig stuff.. I'll bet that ESS kit does a nasty 60 to 130 though for sure..
That seems to be the truth.
Those 10 speeds haven’t been able to hold up to the abuse from a dig.
I’ve heard rumors of Midnight Performance getting new prototype parts that could possibly change that but we’ll see.
I need to just turn my Mustang into a drag car, already got the transmission for it.

if you'd start in first you wouldn't bog it. The soft hit leaves a 9 on the table.
If you start in 1st in one of these with this much horsepower and torque it will break the transmission.
All the fastest Trackhawks leave in 2nd gear.

There’s a lot more technique to drag racing than just going on the green light.
If you go when the light turns green you’re already late.

There’s levels to this game and people that are way better than me at it.
I don’t understand why you are at the track with street tires on instead of an actual set of drag racing slicks on your Trackhawk. 4 slicks would allow you to leave in first gear plus allow you to build up your boost that alone would easily get you into the 9’s. I would recommend getting a drag racing video game it would help you with your reaction times. About 4 or 5 years ago a friend of mine was racing with a mostly stock 5.0 Mustang and his reaction times were all over the place and all of the slow. We started racing online using No Limit Drag Racing game the first version and after making hundreds of passes he was cutting consistent.02 lights. The next time he went to the track and any time after that his reaction times were .01 to .04’s he even beat someone else that ran quicker and faster but he got there first. I’m pretty sure that you still download the game for free even though they have a newer version that is much more complicated and less fun. Give it a try you got nothing to lose but better reaction times. Plus I just subscribed to check your progress to the 9’s.

As far as the tires on the Trackhawk, they are Mickey Thompson Drag radials.
They’re not a slick, but a lot of fast 9 second hawks run them.
Leaving in 1st gear is a problem with these.
I don’t the exact reason but when I started making over 900hp to the wheels 1st was unusable even on the Mickeys.
All the recorded setting Trackhawks launch in 2nd gear.
