Haven’t seen the players before 2006ish play, so maybe Dalglish or Owen for Torres?
Don’t think I’ve ever seen a clip of these 2 where they don’t have a fantastic flow. Like old friends. Some people just have natural chemistry.
At 16:31, Ashley Cole came to my mind. While he became very successful at Chelsea after leaving Arsenal, he admitted a few years ago that he feels ‘orphaned’ by his boyhood club! Gary and Cara are TV gold!
I swear people chat football but when these 2 speak you want to be attentive & you feel sad when they finish that’s how good they’re! Unbelievable never thought I’d love Carragher this much 😂
Always great content from these 2. Cole and yorke/ Gerard and torres of punditry
I make Neville right in his assessment of how he and Carragher wouldn't have worked at other clubs. Give me a team of XI players with character over a team of XI superstars any day
100% m8 i've always said this, Carra was always & still is one of my favoirite LFC players, born & bread local to me & well respected, a leader on & off the pitch, vocal, loyal, loves thw club, passionate & always gave 100% ...what more do you want from a player 👍
This is just brilliant to watch but it's also sad because it makes you realise these guys in football are a dieing breed.
It’s been a while but it’s safe to say Neville actually loves Carra now.
Carra has loved him for a while tho
I could listen these 2 legends all day long 🔥
Can you tell me what this man said at 17:05???
As a Liverpool fan it was terrifying watching Manchester Utd and Chelsea teams! Their front 4 was on a different level, couldn’t be caught!
Carra makin Garry laugh is always a good time
Torres was unplayable at Liverpool use to cause us problems especially Vidic
I knew he was gonna say Veron, his side foot pass, he was like a pinball machine, you could see his class.
14.00 the reason tevez left was he was on the bench in big games the previous season with a World Cup coming up. Yeah Fergie wanted to keep him but he wasn’t a first choice striker in big games. Gary probably forgot that
Proper players these lads, Just pure passion, not about fame or money 👍
Precisely legacy, why we all love these two. Loyal, honest men with character.
Transparency. Open conversation. Both knew their ability and passion for their club
The days of these players were amazing! I’m a Man U fan but i loved Suarez, Alonso and Garcia
Absolute men with that absolute football passion, proper lads from the pitch, the young ballers today should listen to these two big time, pick up on them true tokens of the game, the passion, respect and general life around it all.... Firm handshakes fellas 🤝
Drinking game: Take a shot every time Gary says ‘quite’
Jamie Carragher «or maybe he was just trying to butter me up!» Brilliant 😂
wow i love what jamie said about gerrard. i've never thought about it like this, but lots of players have won league titles, but no one in the world has what steven gerrard has.. he's the man who didn't win a league title, because he just cared too much about liverpool. in the end, maybe that's worth more. if he left and won a title, he'd just be some midfielder who played at liverpool once and no one would even talk about him anymore.
Same with Shearer
@@matthewjackson4299 hmm kind of. Although Shearer had won title before so maybe it was easier for him.
Yeah i like that
Brilliant as always chaps.. Gary, what a very profound point you made ‘loyalty will be reflected in your after-career’ - totally agree, look how people view Michael Owen in the media these days…
Amazing content. Pleasure listening and learning from these two.
Ruud Van Nistelrooy was my hero as a kid, made me love united and football. Favourite ever player he was unreal, maybe the most underrated premier league striker ever
Neville always dropping gems, passion can take an average player to the next level
Lukaku was part of the 3 way transfer ( dzeko leaves roma goes to inter. Lukaku leaves inter goes to Chelsea. Tammy abraham leaves Chelsea goes to roma) and lukaku was like the main big one
Well
Right now dzeko is about to take inter to the title
Tammy abraham has scored 17 goals in 30 games so far this season including in the big games against atalanta ac Milan and Juventus and is adapting quite well under Jose
Lukaku's biggest moment at Chelsea this season was an interview
And to anyone doubting that Tammy could have that success in the PL he literally took Chelsea to the top 4 in 2020 by being the top scorer of the club
Not surprised cuz Tammy and dzeko r clear of lakaka
@@Priyanshhh1189 Tammy is way more skillfull too. Much better hold up play and quality with the ball
@@brandonayong5823 yeah
Tuchel hated tammy for no reason
Sometimes he chose Pulisic and Hudson odoi to play ST over tammy
@@christianopulinaldo8319 I Could understand not picking Tammy if you had killers at his position but Chelsea struggled with strikers those recent years
Just two friends talking football, like we all do. Good stuff.
I absolutely love these two could listen to them all day
Love these chats, could listen to these two for hours. Great insight
garys point on loyalty and post career career, brilliant
Gary “genuinely” Neville
