Henry's Arsenal record is outstanding, winning two League titles, three FA Cups, four Golden Boots and five Player of the Year awards, and to think he wasn't even considered as a striker when he joined the club!

There's a crop of players in the current squad not strong enough to wear that shirt, live for the shirt die for the shirt! I just don't see that anymore I don't see that type of character and fight regardless off ability you need that heart to play for arsenal. I think Arteta understands that but trying to instil that into today's players where money seems more important that pride or love for the club is going to be very difficult I only hope one day maybe he can spear head arsenal again and get santi in a coaching role too ❤️

Actually he was talking about the whole situation there that arsenal only needed 1 point to win the league and after the match spurs players were jumping in front of his face, so as a normal human i think you will get annoyed if not disgusted. So that was the context, may be if spurs players had not celebrated in his face for getting a draw then he may have not said the same whereas he had all the rights there to celebrate the invincible league triumph.
You didn’t have to be an Arsenal fan to realise how good this guy was. I’m a United fan and even though he hurt us quite a few times with some of the goals he scored against us, there was still a grudging admiration. I remember that goal he scored against us at Highbury in the 00/01 season I think it was. When he flicked it up and volleyed it in the net. Unbelievable. One of the all time greats.
I remember watching that game. That goal made me sit up and pay attention. I knew that this was someone special.

shouldve won it 2003 ahead of nedved.. had 20+goals and 20 assists unreal, for some reason in 2004 wasnt even top 3 and was better than shevchenko. 2006 shouldve won it carried arsenal to UCL final and was ggood for france to reach WC final.. but lost to cannavaro and buffon smh. robbed 3times
When Henry returned and scored that one goal in the F.A. Cup, it was like a dream. I will never forget that moment of my life.

I was there the day the king came back, against Leeds in the cup in January 2012. It was a gritty game, but you knew the moment he came on it was gonna be him that decided that game! I remember hugging strangers, crying and knowing I was witnessing a true Arsenal great get a beautiful swan song...

When they were talking about Henry coming back on loan I was nervous, I didn’t know how it would go and didn’t want him to tarnish his magnificent legacy.
Will never forget the FA cup Leeds game it was my sons 12th birthday. Apart from Anfield 89 never have I felt so emotional watching a match.

It's not the fault of the current players, it's the faults of Arsenal as a team who have failed to rekindle the passion of that era on the team. They cannot actually replace a manager like Arsene Wenger since he left and the team have continued to go down and down since Arteta took over

Maybe Vieira, Anelka and Petit made Arsenal famous in France like he said. But since 2000 in France, we can't talk about Arsenal without mentioning Henry.
I'm 27 and I grew up thinking that he was the best player in the history. I remember that every sunday night when the french tv showed some highlights about the others europeans leagues, every week during 8 straight years, this guy was scoring goals, assists and embarassing defenders.
I almost cried more when Arsenal lost against Barcelona than when we lost against Italy a few weeks later (what a sad summer lmao)

As an Arsenal fan of 40 years, the best tribute i can pay Henry is that when he was taking players on and scoring, beating 2,3 4,5 players he done it because he loved to. A sheer joy to watch. Lets face it the skills and flair he brought to the PL haven't been matched since. Best games, I think was Inter Milan away Champions league and any game from the invinsible season. Juventus Fan here, after watching this video I am delighted that at least it was Henry who wanted to leave Juve and not the opposite. I always thougt that we sold him cause the club didn't see his potential, that would have been unforgivable. That champions league final haunts me till this day and always eats away in the back of my head...albeit quieter as the years have gone on but still. Don't ever compare Thierry to the likes of Aguero, Rooney, Drogba, Suarez or any other striker. Thierry had the agility, pace, physicality, shot power, dribbling and best of all his finishing was pure world-class. He won the World Cup & Euro's, 2 Premier League titles (+Invincble season), domestic cups with Arsenal, champions league final with Arsenal, Treble with Barca's best-ever team. No other striker compares to him.

I started to root Gunners back in late 90s just before Henry came to his spiritual home (Arsenal)
It's been a journey! Sometimes it's hard to be a Gooner, UCL trophy was literally on our hands and many other similiar cases + today's downhill.
I saw him three times at Highbury and watching him on video is just not the same. The way he glided across the pitch was like nothing I've ever seen before or since.
