Thierry henry is truly the best striker in the EPL era. He could score, he could assist, he could run, he could score set peice, he could literarily do all things. All hail the king tiitii.
How he didn't win the Ballon d'Or was ridiculous. Greatest ever PL striker. 😎
Literally*
he means 'genuinely'@@mtlaw007
nice comment, what do you mean 'EPL era'? It's been going for over thirty years.
They really need to take away Nedved's and give it to Henry. Criminal that Henry didn't win it@@marzipanmonkey
Thierry Henry was simply the best. Never seen anyone better...
You have to check your eyes then.
RONALDO IS OVER RATED, LOOK AT HENRY ! SIMPLY THE BEST.
He reminds me of Andy Cole.
Yes, you not wrong mate. What a piece of business pay 19 million for him, he becomes Arsenal ledgend and on sell him for more then double.
Nah Pires isn't getting the love he should be getting in this comment section. What a player he was for us and definitely the 2nd best player for us that season.
Indeed he's
After T.henry he was the best player in the team
Full squad was best ever.
I agree! I loved Robert Pires and this Arsenal squad! The best!
“May 15, 2004 history has been made. One of the greatest achievements since English Football begun. Arsenal have gone through an entire league campaign without losing. The first time it’s happened for over 100 years.
Played 38, won 26, drawn 12 and lost exactly none.” ✅❤
And Arsenal haven't won a premier league since
@@TheLetterK81Who would have thought it?
@@alanledesma4945 They just bottle it at the end of the season when they're about to win they lose the race
@@TheLetterK81 I don't think they win it this season either, Liverpool are just unstoppable. It seems Arsenal will have to wait
@@TheLetterK81 Whatever makes your sad little life better
Back when Premier League was majestic magical and this team was the epitome of that.
Best team I've seen in the most beautiful stadium ever!
It's more majestic nowadays than before .
Miss Highbury so much😭😭😭
Prem was shit in top 5 ranks and shit in Europe
Arsenal Are not winning anything and haven't won the premier league for almost 20 years
Best team😂
Henry was the MVP of that squad. Henry was a monster of a striker.
In all fairness, Henry is the best striker in the Premier League of all time. Perfect technique, the speed of the wind god, can score from any situation, subtle observation, create for teammates. There are not many such strikers in the world.
Amazing how so many of those players were world class in their own right, and meshed and played together so well as a team - that's really the towering achievement.
In that year
Henry 51 matches 39 goals 15 assist
Pires 51 matches 19 goals 13 assist
Ljunberg 44 matches 10 goals 7 assist
Bergkamp 38 matches 5 goals 9 assist
The craziest stats ever!!
The fact that they were putting out those number of games in a season is commendable.
The statistics don't show how damn good Ljungberg and Bergkamp played. With Henry that trio was godly. Add Wiltord and Pires on the wings 🤤
Henry, Bergkamp, Pires, Ljungberg, Wiltord, best attackers in EPL these years
@@Rakesh11503In a season where they drew 12 games...yeah
I wonder how they didn't win the champions league
Henry......Absolutely spell binding to watch......😎👌👍
Thanks for the best memories ! The whole team were a joy to watch, never parking the bus, Henry going through meant a goal, both wingers were superb, Bergie pure class, solid back four, Ashley Cole - lest it be forgotten - was instrumental in attack down the left, and counterattacking in a blink of an eye. Most deserved honour. Good times.
I am a Man-U fan, but back in the day, this was glorious. Everyone was a legend.
Henry is just phenomenal , point blank
Salute the greatest coach of all time-Arsene Wenger. To win Premier league without a loss was just phenomenal,a fete that has eluded even the silkiest Pep Gurdiola. Thumbs up for the maestro - Dr. Arsene Wenger. God grant you more years to contribute to the development of the beautiful game to the advantage of our talented youths to earn a living.
What a team ! One of the greatest club teams assembled ❤
I like arsenal
I believe I heard Wenger say that the back four (Lauren, Toure, Campbell, and Cole) did cost less than 15 million euros to bring to Arsenal all together. Compare that to like Man Citys back four today...
@@stigviig8265 It's fewer than 15 million euros, not less than (euros are countable nouns). Anyway, it's silly to compare prices of teams 20 years apart. You could have made the same criticism in 2004 of Arsenal by saying "twenty years ago the title was won by Everton (who won the league in 1984) and their defence only cost £550,000! Compare that to the Arsenal back four of 2004!"
Henry was a monster of a striker
Best ever in the prem
So underrated just like Benzema
I've watch this over the years thousands ov times and I still get that feeling everytime.. I don't think I'll ever see a team go all season without a loss this team was the best ever Arsenal side. And our boys now are heading in the right direction❤❤. Come on gunners

and celebrate at shite hart lane
only 2 out of 20 epl clubs last season had more draws than the invincibles, weird
And 0 have gone unbeaten in a 38 league game season.
Everyone be talking about Arsenal 04, but nobody talks about Chelsea 05, who just lost one game to Man City due to a wrongly given penalty
@@cloverisfan818people talk about it mate
The best team ever!!!!! They were made to play on the same pitch as each other especially the midfield and 2 strikers. Out of this world love you boys will never forget watching you play in those early 2000s at highbury . RIP to the good old days ❤
I love Bergkamp, i love Henry n Vieira but i feel Pires deserves more credit,he made Henry a much better player n his late runs inside the penalty area were awesome
True! He was also great in his own right! I love this squad!
When my second son was young,Pries was his favourite, him playing the same position.
We shall continue cherishing Thierry Henry forever
This is by FAR AND AWAY the GREATEST football team of ALL time, and im a United fan saying that!!
😮
The greatest team was barcelona 2009-2012
And our rivalry with Man U was the best. Only Man U could complete this team and had that charisma.
@marwanhisham233
Nah that shit was overrated
They didn’t have much competition either
When they did they lost
They lost 2010 against inter
Then they lost 2012 against Chelsea
Their defense was absolute cheeks too
The goalkeeper is like whatever too
😂 nah mate. I am an Arsenal fan and even I think this would be a stretch. Definitely the best Arsenal team of that decade though. Those names were giants of that time.
Greatest arsenal team ever.
Hmm, player for player, I'd say Manu Petit would get in ahead of Edu. You could make a case for Overmars as well
The greatest squad of the then, with the anchorman Thierry Henry, the best striker in epl ever, his strikes, dives morale dodging skills, dribbles, what a striker, they cheated him atleast to win balondor' twice,he will remain in our memories,he boosted his players and Arsenal team to be one of the best
Proud to say that I was at the Chelsea game in the October when we won 2-1.
Had a tour around Highbury, played in the underground astro-turf with a couple of players, got some signatures and then watched our magic.
Best day of my childhood bar none!
What an impressive, complete team that was.
Henry was simply unplayable - he even made legends like Carragher look like casuals with some of his runs. He could hit a wicked free kick too.
Ljungberg and Pires were outstanding, some excellent goals and devastating wing play from them too.
Gilberto and Vieira were a perfect blend of physical prowess and technical skill in the midfield, chipping in their share of goals too.
Let's not forget the rock solid defence led by peak Ashley Cole and Sol Campbell.
Bergkamp with some ice cold finishes too was also class.
I like arsenal
These memories are just awesome.... This was just about my early years as an Arsenal fan. Hope we can recreate this form some day
Sure we can, we have the right squad, good character players fitting the club system. The only one piece i think is missing is the coach approach towards scoring. Only if the coach can sit his players down and give them the ideal motivation to be tough and shoot more rather than pass pass the ball till you get a chance in slotting the ball behind the net which is very difficult for our attackers these days as opponent players have already mastered Arteta secret.
@@enduranceoyakhire8379 Tbh i think the reason why we won't see something like this in the near future is simple. Money.
Players, top players, nowadays just make too much money for them to have the right motivation that the "old" players had.
@@9one984 true
@@enduranceoyakhire8379 Yeah teams are starting to figure Arsenal out so we had to build up that back 4. Our defense is best in the league, but our attack has dropped off.
Was only 10 years old during that season... shame I wasn't at a better age to appreciate it more
Enjoyed after 20years, Arsenal you made history that will never to break any team, kudos to my team
15:18 "there is a beautiful simplicity about Arsene Wenger's team when they click into gear". Exactly the reason I became an Arsenal fan, I would only support the Super Eagles until I followed my cousin to a viewing center. Arsenal vs Chelsea was the match, upon seeing that everyone has a side they support, I asked him which team should I support?. The only good thing he did for me in this life was allowing me to choose any team to support. And I said thank God in my heart. Arsenal was playing football as if they were playing with hands and the opponent with feet. Right pass measurements, one touch passes, through passes, all I was seeing was a chess game played with feet on a big grass field.
Superb team, I was 18 years old when this happened. I feel blessed to have seen it and lived through it. Dad is a Man U fan, so that made it extra special 😂
They were the deadliest and coldest invincible team at the time, brings back memories ❤❤❤
Henry was the MVP of that squad
He was robbed "Le ballon d’or"
Hmm, a couple of other greats in there - Paddy and Dennis spring to mind, and Bobby Pires.
no one mentions ashley cole. you kids dont know.
@@deathrager2404 Cashley was an outstanding left back, almost as good as Nige 😆 Quite the little Judas though. Someone pass him the mobile phone and the KY (allegedly) 😂

major goosebumps, I miss this team so much I pray that we will do something like this these next seasons
My childhood the best ever team! I wish back to this session if it could possible. 😢
Coming from a Chelsea fan since 1995... Henry - simply the greatest ever Premier League player. Not just "striker", but best player overall. He was just a different breed.
Really miss this incredible season & the players that always give us smile after the time. Thank you to all players & to Arsene Wenger for presenting very great games & memories....
RIP for Reyes....
So many great players....they all deserve statues!!! They might not have won balondors but they are forever legends and their legacies are cast in concrete in the hearts of the fans. So many good players have retired without half the legacy of these guys
I teared up to this comment. I miss these guys!
Man I loved Robert Pires back in the day
How come Henry didn't get the ballon d'or? I'm happy Arsenal honoured 🎖 him with that statue. Such a sensation ❤❤❤
Ronaldinho win it

Should've got it the season before, 24 goals 20 assists in the league...
It’s been 20 years. And this season, 20 years sharp later, Arsenal will win the PL.

Ljunberg was a world class right wing at a bargain price.....
Nothing will beat Anelka. 500k two years later 23m to Real.... Wenger buys Henry and builds the new training ground with the proceeds.😊
Freddie was an amazing player for us but he didn't just play on the right, he would play in the middle some games when we used Wiltord wide and he was so dangerous breaking the lines and getting important goals. Big games against Juve and Liverpool where he would pop up outta nowhere! ❤wonder player!
@@thomasarsenal5465 when Freddie had his red hair in 01/02. He scored so many goals that season, especially towards the end.

Yep, I was at the Leicester game and most fans at half time thought we've blown it, you could see and hear it all around. Then those two moments of magic happened... History was made.
You would think this was the best team in the world during those years. Then you look at the rest of europe and realize the crazy amount of legendary teams that there were back then. That my friends, was without a doubt part of the greatest 20 year period in football history: 90s-2000s.

I loved the Andy grey and martin Taylor commentary
You just don't hear racism and misogyny like that any more. It's health and safety gone mad!
Just amazing. Every Gunner needs to save this video
Pires est l'un des joueurs les plus underrated de l'histoire.
Great, thanks for sharing. Had great evening and finished with watching this video
guys who played Fantasy Premier League this season really had a feast with Henry
1:41 what a ball though 🔥 🥶
Henry has largely been underrated. If he was an Englishman, the UK media would have immortalised him.
Thierry Henry and Ronaldinho are by far my favorite living football legends, they are the reason I fell in love with football in the first place, they are part of my childhood... Henry should have won at least one or two ballon d'or in the 2003 and 2004 seasons, he was so unique and underrated back then, he was almost unstoppable and genuinely a very good all-rounder authentic player. ☯️✌️
Amazing winning our PL title 03-04 undefeated.
Henry Lauren Keown Vieria Bergkamp Pires Giberto and Parlour what a team.
That's 8. You need 11.
Arsenal 2003-04 team is the best club of the entire EPL. Thierry Henry is surely the best striker of all time in EPL with such power, speed, stikes, finishes. Arsene Wenger is also a legend. This team's success owes to french trio of Henry, Pires, Vieira with Lyungberg and Bergkamp in the support. Sol Campbell , Kewon Gilberto made a solid back while Jens Lehman made some season turning saves.
If you have Bergkamp, Viera and Henry in the team you could win every team
Kayseri 1 yani 39
Pires
But not ucl teams
Except CHELSEA IN UCL Q.F. 😂😂😂 EVEN Chelsea is club of England too. Lolololol
except galatasaray
Pires wow!!!😍
When football was good and you had the pleasure of watching Thierry Henry week in week out. YNWA!! ✌
These guys were consistent even after winning the league..the zeal was unmatched🎉🎉
this arsenal squad reminds me vasco da gama from 1997 season. two superb forward strikers in their finest career moment (edmundo - henry), great more experienced attack partners (evair - bergkamp), the midfielders always pushing the team ahead with great goals and assistences (juninho and ramon - pires and ljungberg). the defensive midfielders had more freedom to advance in arsenal's tatics than in vasco's, but the brazilians had better options with the wings-back on both sides of the pitch. in the defense duo, a mixture of youth and experience provided a solid protection to a very safe and secure goalkeeper on both teams. of course there are tatics differences. the british team used more often the speedy counterattacks and the brazilian team had a more accurate and enveloping passing skills and dribble.
Everything about the invincibles was exceptional from skill to unity amongst the players
The glob of Vicks on Vieira’s shirt is so iconic.
because I didn't understand English, I used to often ask, what liquid was always in Vierra's clothes when watching TV, and after a long time I finally found out that it was vicks, and it turns out that it's also commonly used by football athletes

We are about 2 players away from getting back to this level
Moses Caicedo and Victor Osimhen
I'd ssy we are man City away
Maybe given a couple of years. Martinelli ain't Pires. Not yet at least. And good though Odegaard is, Dennis was on a different level/planet. And then there was Thierry. A generational player admittedly, but nobody in that current Arsenal team is anywhere near that level. I have high hopes for Rice and Saliba is different class. But the current fullbacks don't measure up either, but interesting times for sure

Truly the best striker of the century
Rest in peace Jose Antonio Reyes
when did he die 😢😢
This was Wenger's greatest moment. He had built a team over the years that became the Invincibles, this unstopable machine lead by Thierry Henry. How would they do today? Impossible to say. This was 20 years ago, but I like to think that they would do very well. We never know, though! Time moves on and the game change, but some ideas stay the same. If you manage to get the ball between the post in a transition of three passes or less, then you're on no matter what year. That's especially true if you have a locomotive like Thierry up front.
❤YNWA
Actually Bergkamp was the one who introduced the new approach in PL with his play. He prepared the fundament for the Invincibles and was the conductor to the flawless style that we saw
