I've been crocheting for 2 years now and I avoid this stitch because of the ends, you just made me have my lightbulb moment! Thank you so much! I'm going to get yarn so I can make a million of these for all my friends having babies now!!!!!!
I like your video's. They don't think when doing video's and go to fast. You go slow enough for us to see what stitches you are talking about. Thank you, I don't have to watch same video 5 times to see what your talking about.
Hi, thank you for teaching crochet, can you show how to make blankets ? I have 1 infant, 1 toddler, and an 11 year old, I would live to learn how to make
Ethel Salins aww thank you!! To be honest I’ve never really liked the sound of my voice for some reason so I almost didn’t make tutorials because of it. I’m very happy to hear I had a good time!
This is very cute and easy to do thank you for your great instructions! The only struggle I have is a making these for gifts so I don't really want to measure my granddaughter's head she's 10 years old when I did the chain I thought it was too long so I measured out what it says to measure it at and different instructions and now I don't even think this will fit a baby it's so small any starting chain amount will be helpful if you have something for like a 10 or 11 year olds
Hello Lucy, this is my channel but I’m having difficulty logging in at the moment. However for a child size the average is 18-20 inches. If your having difficulty with gauge, try going up a size hook or adding a few additional stitches because this stitch can shrink when worked I noticed. I usually crochet pretty tightly and often run into this issue myself so this has helped me too. Thank you for watching and hope that helps!!
Molly Lolly I’m very glad you loved this video tutorial and it was easy to follow!! What kind of beanie? I child , women’s, or men’s? I planned on doing a baby bear hat for my next tutorial but love getting suggestions from you guys!
I do not know the exact ch amount but adult size you would want to anywhere from a 19 inch ch or 20 inch ch. the average women’s head circumference is 22 inches so with a little stretch I like to go a little smaller. You need to make sure you end on an even number
I would adjust your chains or go down a hook size. I tend to crochet tight so that can make a difference. This headband is totally adjustable ❤️. I hope that helps you
Flower Wall I will work on the pattern to see if I can get you a number. Essentially your chaining until you get your chain to the average head circumference size and making sure you end on an even number divisible by 2’s. I’ll work on it soon and reply though when I get the number.
I just did this for my 2 yr old and I love it!! I did 70 chains And it fits perfect! I just kept making chains til It was perfect size for her head. Thanks!!
Excuse me but you need to call out what type of stitch it is otherwise we dont know what were doing or even how to explain it. Because we dont know the name of that stitch. Now from my gatherings that was like a double crochet stitch
Thank you for sharing you're tutorial pattern for baby headband I made one for a friend of mine.
You’re welcome 😊

Am I suppose to end at the beginning after my 10th row?
Thank u for ur video. I am new at crocheting. Followed ur steps but my headband is only 13 inches long. Too small for my head. What can I do ?
Try going up a hook size! Sometimes people crochet tighter so I always suggest this first or adding more chains
Im just starting now and I dont seem to make yhe stitches as long as yours it feels tight to me, what am i doing wrong?
Does it matter what kind of crochet size you are using
Yes it can! I will be re-vamping my pattern in written form with gauge and different sizes 👍🏻
I loved this it was very easy to follow. Could you do a video on how to do a beanie?

Im having a little trouble keeping track of how many rows I have, any suggestions???
Get a Stitch counter, or you can get stitch markers with numbers on them.
👌👍️
It really would help if you would adjust your camera.
One day I’ll have a better camera set up, I know it’s not the best.
How many chains for a newborn?
she said 52 for 0 to 3 months
How many chains or inches for an adult
I do not know the exact ch amount but adult size you would want to anywhere from a 19 inch ch or 20 inch ch. the average women’s head circumference is 22 inches so with a little stretch I like to go a little smaller. You need to make sure you end on an even number
Is 50-52 chains really newborn? 😬 I loved the tutorial and the headband is SO cute but it fits me....

BeeLoved Crochet thank you so much! I love it either way! ❤️
Hi! I have two days to make this and I just have a question for you. What hook size did you use? Hugs xo
She used 6.00mm or I hook 😊
What weight is the yarn? You said it calls for a 5.5 but not the weight
Instead of removing all the stitches make extra chains at the beginning and undo the un worked ones much less frustrating
So, you’re not actually skipping a stitch right.. you’re going to the next one that doesn’t have anything in it, right?
Sue h yes exactly, do not skip the stitch, you go in the space by the stitch. This is called the moss stitch
Is this European terminology? A single crochet in the US is insert hook, pull yarn through, YO, pull through two loops.
This is in USA terms
How many chains for 1 year old baby? Please reply
Flower Wall I will work on the pattern to see if I can get you a number. Essentially your chaining until you get your chain to the average head circumference size and making sure you end on an even number divisible by 2’s. I’ll work on it soon and reply though when I get the number.
@@mycozeplace thank you so much for your reply. I tried it but I got uneven edges. It always happens with me. Never got even edges.
Flower Wall still haven’t forgotten about you, just really busy as of lately but I’ll get to it as soon as I can 👍🏻
@@mycozeplace Aww .. Thank you so much. I am waiting. Please take your time 😊.
