so exquisite in its rhythmic dynamics. The skill with which he plays this piece is exceptional, as the notes are so light and delicate, yet precise...The melody ascends in volume. When I close my eyes, I see birds in the sky, perhaps dancing. maybe fighting to mate, depending on the bird. he is brilliant 🩵
Paul is a great life example, been following him for years. His face is always neutral while playing, he doesn’t need to do funny facial expressions or exaggerated gestures to deliver us what’s most important: the music as the composer wrote it.
ive heard in the old days, musicians used to inject their faces with paralytic drugs to keep their faces from moving at all, so the music could sound its best. performers these days just dont have that level of dedication anymore unfortunately. when i listen to piano, i always keep my eyes tightly closed, but sometimes i slip up and accidentally let myself see the musician's expressive face, which really makes every note sound much worse and ruins my day 😢
Oh, that was stunning!! The pictures in my mind as I listened were of a fast-running spring river in dappled sunlight, bouncing over rocks and boulders and at the end, a magnificent waterfall.
It's very, very hard to pick a "favorite" Schubert Impromptu, but this one is always right there for me. So wonderfully played. Paul is a real gift. Fun fact: Brahms took this piece and flipped the hands and called it an etude.
Paul darling, you are a fantastic pianist and you play exquisitely! How long does it take you to learn a piece, because if it were me this would take months!
Chopin ballade n.2 is another famous example. Well, even the 4th ballade starts in a major key, and only later we understand that all the introduction in C+ is a long dominant leading to the actual key of f-minor. I guess it still counts!
GOOD MORNING I AM SORRY I DID NOT PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR DAUGHTER I DO CARE. BEAUTIFUL🎵 PIANO! I wILL AFTER I LISTEN HERE. CLAPPING. 🎶YOU MAKE A GIRL WANT TO BE DRESSED PRETTY 🎶LIKE AT REAL🎹 LIVE CONCERT 🎼HUG ELEPHANTS FOR LUCY TELL WIFE. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY PLEASE! 🎁
Repent and trust in Jesus. We deserve Hell for our sin. Lying, lusting, etc, but God sent his son Jesus to die on the cross and ride from the grave to free us from sin. If you repent and trust in him youll be saved. Romans 3:23 John 3:16❤😊
Better for who ? He couldn't possibly watch his fingers, he is just looking down as a focus point, as if you notice he is playing from memory, not reading the score.
@@PaulBartonPiano I can't stand know it alls, they have to appear superior. You play the way you want to, that's your style, it's you, take no notice, don't change, you play beautifully.
Where is he supposed to look at, if not his fingers and the keyboard? There are enough clowns pretending to have visions, which is something absolutely unnecessary.

yeah why do people never pay attention to the vital marking on every great composer's scores: "no intense facial expressions allowed" lmao

How can one man be such an incredible artist in so many of life’s truly fine arts, Paul?
You amaze me continually.❤️
Beautifully played! My mother used to play this and other Schubert pieces! She loved Schubert - so do I! Thanks for posting! 🥰👍😀
Merci Monsieur Barton pour ce moment de pur bonheur et pour tous les souvenirs qui l'accompagnent.
Beautifully executed. I love Schubert and adore your playing!

Amazing how talented and dedicated you are to play with pure passion and care…you’re my hero favorite musician of all
This is one of my favourite pieces and a truly exceptional performance
Beautifully played. Love your piano playing & that of your family. Glad you have such a high following.

Which Brahms piece is the one you are referring to?

Perfect!
this piece is harder than thought, after I tryed
Everything looks easier when Paul plays it. That's great technique.
Thank you
I miss your music for the animals 🙏
Superb ❤
That piece is delicious chaos.
0:27 - 0:36 is my favourite part. Anyone know any similar pieces?

❤❤❤
I played that piece years ago and you've reminded me how great it is. I must relearn it.
🙌
Andras Schiff once asked in a lecture what other piece starts in major and ends in minor. I still can't come up with one.

@@pvairo Excellent point, thanks.
Je suppose qu'il faut avoir de la force dans les doigts pour que ça donne cette impression de légèreté

Thank you but it will be better if you don't watch you finger .
