The biggest one is " Always tell the truth" My attorney told me that from the beginning. He said if they deny you, you can appeal, if you are caught in a lie it's over. Then he said this " They are not asking you because they don't know, they are asking you to see if you will tell the truth.

Sometimes it is not like you do not want to hire an attorney
It is the fact that it is costly and you do not have the kind of money to pay upfront.

If you can read and understand English well , read the forms instructions, understand it well, fill the forms the right information, then you don’t need a friend or paralegal or attorney. No one knows or can fill any information without you yourself provide it. Read and understand well.

@@McBeanImmigrationLaw Hi dear McBean. Please, please answer this question. What if I entered unknowingly, unintentionally my ID card’s number instead of Passport number on my DV entry? I had passport when I was on my DV entry process and there was nothing wrong with my Passport at that time, and also it is still same Passport and there is nothing wrong with my Passport even still... I simply made mistake unintentionally because of my relatively poor English… I hadn’t understood paragraphs promptly when I was process my DV entry and when I see the «Passport» paragraph, said to myself: «Oh that’s it,they meant this...(P.S. my ID card...)» and entered... So in this case,am I still in high risk of disqualification or refusal? I'm too worry...(((

I remember going alone and the immigration interviewer lying to me. she said oh you have retroactive on child support? I said yes and I'm making payments on it. She say don't worry I won't say anything. The immigration letter arrived and it said denied due to child support retroactive lol 😆. Now year's later I'm done with child support and have a lawyer. My question would be why do some lie to us?

  • @bringingit1675

Let's see, if I hire a attorney then I won't be able to travel to see my family this year! Isn't the hiring of a attorney a gamble as well? I paid a attorney 100 dollars just to tell me that his fees would be over $5,000 with no guarantees! I'm thinking about moving to another country because this process is as if you're being interrogated and extorted! To be with the ones that you love should never this completed! My family has been in this country for 400 years and my military service obviously means very Little, the officers at the embassy asked my wife about a previous marriage that ended 25yr ago, how would she know about that? I don't talk to my wife about my ex wife that has remarried and divorced twice since our divorce two and a half decades ago! This is oppression.....
