Graves Golf Single Plane Academy is the worldwide authority on the Single Plane Golf Swing of Moe Norman-similar to the Bryson DeChambeau golf swing. PGA Tour Legends such as Tiger Woods, Lee Trevino, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, Tom Watson, and others have called Norman the 'World's Greatest Ball-Striker"-someone who truly owned his swing. As Moe's legacy becoming more widely known, he continues to inspire golfers worldwide to play with his one-plane swing for a bio-mechanically correct motion that relieves stress on the back, simplifying the golf swing to consistently make solid impact-what Moe called the "Feeling of Greatness."

Some of the best tips i have got from these videos of Moe and Graves that might help others to feel that feeling of greatness are this ones... Pay attention to this: first, dont think of speed, that one will come by itself in time, then Grab the club with the right hand like Moe said, palm arm and wrist, thats when you understand the claw, then when in position of single plane... starting the swing, the first transition feels like throwing the club to the back. then once its up and coming down... should feel like when throw chipping a rock to the water... and the BEST BEST investment someone can make from all the items they sell, Trust me on this one, the BEST EVER EVER is the "Alignment and ball position trainer" that thing its Pure Gold. And other tip its... go watch Moe videos over and over again, cause sometimes it doesnt make sense what he says... then suddenly you hear it again and BINGO now it makes all sense... and watch all Graves golf videos too. Thanks Todd for all great videos. been very helpful.
Great explanation

As an older player I have found that I can get better rotation (not too much), a better back hip setting, way more consistent impact, no more early releases, more distance and improved accuracy by paying attention to driving my front shoulder and front knee down and back more. Then I find my front knee is in a much stronger flexed position. That eliminates my front hip from breaking/swaying through the 'front wall' of my swing. In short, I no longer have an inadequate degree of front knee flex in my weight shift causing inconsistent impact results....My ball flight is, on the whole, now noticeably straighter and longer. The ball's apex is now also more consistent....
Great nugget of wisdom! I have the worst problem swaying off the ball!🤪🤪 I never feel it but when I watch the video it looks awful!
Awesome explanation to my previous video question on push pull. Thank you!!
I didn't know or catch that the heal of the club should be lined up with the ball until this video. Just tried it during my practice session and it was a game changer. Almost every shot was in the middle of the clubface and dispersion tightened up. Love this video!!
careful with that. if hands extend while swinging an iron you will shenk
All your issues with executing this amazing swing wiil be solved if you A frame; keep the trail leg braced on the inner thigh down to your inner foot and then shift weight into the lead knee then the swing down can be whipped through. Thanks.
Great
Is the right side release passive and powered by the breaking of the body or is there some force applied by contracting muscles in the right side
Check out what Todd says in the video from 10:25-12:25. Moe said the right side is along for the ride in the downswing as the lead side torso pulls, then arms extend through impact
@@GravesGolf i was trying to clarify the skipping the rock part. If you were actually skipping a rock you would apply force with the right arm and wrist. I don't do that but was wondering if one could or should.
On one of your other videos, you said moe had no weight shift. So which is it?
Rodger I believe you are referring to Todd discussing that Moe doesn’t have a lateral “shift” of his pelvis. He rotates in the backswing against a stable trail (right) leg with pressure on the inside of the leg. As he transitions into the downswing, that pressure and stability moves into a flexed lead knee through impact as he rotates his pelvis and torso. Hope that clarifies. Here’s another video on this topic ruclips.net/video/oak9eXekSDU/видео.html
What software do you use to draw on videos?
Troy please email Brock at gold@gravesgolf.com to learn more about the technical process our coaches use to analyze your swing. Thanks for watching the channel!
" When i go back--i go forward "
No your torso
I can't watch this stuff. Way too confusing. Did Moe really do alll this crap?😀
